I was perfectly happy with their direct subscriber line service and NEP went above and beyond to upgrade my service to fiber to the premise. It s fantastic.. I have 12MB and it s been great for over a year now. Good quality connection, great people. I honestly can t believe the negative reviews. It s more likely one will go out of their way to complain rather than leave a complement. NEP service is great and I will stay with them as long as I m in their service footprint. Thanks NEP!
I absolutely hate this company. We've been with NEP for years now. It's really unfortunate, whenever we speak to someone over the phone or when a service person comes to our home, they're very nice and usually helpful. But when we have a issue, it is such a headache. We recently upgraded our internet package and somehow things have become exponentially worse. A few times a week our internet randomly goes out. Sometimes our devices will say we are connected to the internet yet the internet isn't working for us. Sometimes when I'm testing our speed, we will have high ping and jitter for no reason. Other times while testing our speed, it will say low ping and jitter, yet our speed is drastically lower than it should be. We are paying for 50 mbps, and so far, it hasn't felt like we've been receiving that much. I will say, when everything works as it should, we're happy with them. But the second we have a problem, and we tend to have many problems, it becomes absolute hell trying to resolve our issue.
In my experience I usually receive service the same day or next. The techs are wonderful as are the office reps. I love how they are always on top of new technology.
Called to see what could be offered in terms of increasing internet speed/performance. The person answering the phone was incredibly rude - it was like pulling teeth to get them to tell me about any options available. Very disappointing, especially since I have been a customer for over 13 years. I'll be switching providers now.
I have always had very good interactions with customer service and the technicians. The new 5G service is fast and reliable so I am happy with that. Plus NEP is cheaper than Huges.net and my neighbors all complain about the quality and service from Hughes.net. What more can you ask for in a service provider than good service, good quality, and good pricing. There aren't any other providers available in the area at this time. So I strongly recommend NEP over Hughes.net.

Internet is always going out after they "update" their services. Their phone line is ALWAYS busy and their repair line is a fax machine.
