The first lady that showed us around was rather snooty, however my girlfriend and I found a 2nd lady who helped us maximize our dollars while getting us everything we needed and she was extremely helpful.

I m glad that even though I moved across the country I can buy from one of my favorite places! It did take me a minute to figure out that from my cart I have to click on the logo in the corner to continue shopping. Other than that, I had an easy time ordering what I wanted.

We went in to buy a refrigerator and a very helpful salesman named Curt P. x23710 helped us. He was very knowledgeable about all the different makes and models. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator.
Then we went over to computers and Antonio came to our rescue! We purchased an HP laptop and with his guidance we felt confident of our selection.

Nebraska Furniture Mart was my go to for all my furniture needs. I remember shopping with my family as a child, seeing Mrs. B out & about with her customers. It was always a good time. Those memories kept me coming back year after year but it seems the service isn t what it used to be... Friendly voices & kind words seem to only exist during sales, would be helpful during those unfortunate times too.

It took awhile to get someone to help, however when a sales person showed up we were very happy with her. Her name was Cherri Gruhn and she was awesome. She was with a client when we got there and as soon as she was done she came looking for another client and found us. Cherri was very helpful and we are supper glad she found us. Cherri did a fantastic job at meeting our needs, she is one of the reason you got a sale.

I am looking for carpet and was approached by an excellent salesman who not only helped me find colors, but taught me what to specifically look for from the information I had given him on what I wanted. He then left me alone, but would occasionally check with me as I wandered throughout the huge carpet choices, and said "I have left some of the colors you were interested in on top of various carpet areas, and if they come close to what you want just take them with you as you wander." He never pushed or pressed me to make a decision, unlike many sales personnel, but just let me take my time and find what I wanted. He also told me he would cut any of the carpet I found and I could take the samples home "since the color in your family room would be different from our lighting." I really appreciated that info.

I was shopping for a new sofa. Everyone that I encountered asked if I needed assistance. They answered my questions and still gave me time to walk around on my own. I also visited the carpet area and even tho I decided not to purchase they were very accommodating as they went out of their way to make sure I made the purchases that I really wanted.

The last two visits to NFM left us wondering why they have sales staff. Although there were PLENTY of sales people for the number of customers, they were gathered together chatting while not only we, but others were being very obvious about needing help. In one situation, we had to approach them and ask if they could help us. It didn't make us feel welcomed especially as they would look at us and continue talking. We almost walked out. This happened in two different departments, beds and appliances.

Didn't even have to get out of my truck, just pulled in to the warehouse pick up area, showed my ID and they loaded it in the back of my truck for me!

Over the years I ve always shopped around. Nebraska Furniture Mart always has the best prices by far. Also great customer service. My sales person showed me several different sound bars. Even Bluetoothed to play music on the one I ended up buying. I told him I only had 10 minutes and he got me in and out that fast. Without going to the checkout line.

I walked in to NFM hoping to find some luxury vinyl plank flooring samples and schedule a time for a bid. I expected it to take at least an hour and a half. A salesman met us as we walked over, asked us how we wanted the room to look finished, showed us popular styles and laid the samples by a sample piece of wood that is similar to the color of our cabinets and trim. We picked our three favorites, walked out with samples (the samples they didn t have in stock are being mailed directly to our home) and have a bid scheduled for about 10 days from now. Walked out of the store in under 30 minutes!!! It takes me longer than that to pick out my outfit for work each day - and I work from home! Excellent experience, knowledgeable salesman.

Havent received our item yet but our sales person was very helpful when we realized we ordered a couch that was a little too large. We came in the next day and got it figured out excited for my new couch to arrive once completed!

I been thinking about a laptop for years. Finally went to NFM and talked to Kelsey. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to learn as much as I did, and bought an HP Pavillion 360. It's good to know you have knowledgeable people when you go to NFM.

We dealt with 5 people in the store today, including the checkout. All were helpful and friendly. Sales clerks were knowledgeable and even showed us to the next item we were looking for and found us a clerk from that department.

Wow - we were visiting from out of town, and stopp...

Wow - we were visiting from out of town, and stopped by because of the (huge) size of their building. We had been looking for and tables at other furniture stores and on the internet but couldn't find end tables that were perfect for our needs. I'm glad we checked out the Nebraska Furniture Mart. We found end tables that are perfect for our home - and at a great price.

We walked around for 45 mins looking at furniture and was not greeted once. I suspect because my wife and I are a younger couple and were out in casual clothes. So they assumed we dont have money and must be just looking! We had to wait and ask somebody to write up the order for a new sectional and give them our payment. The sales person was helpful and got us all set. Maybe a little sales training on meet and greet wouldn't hurt. Overall I give it an ok experience.

Had to wait for a salesperson even though there was 2 just talking in the area i was shopping in. And then I was not given the advertised discount when I pointed it out I was told I was wrong!!!! Once she realized the mistake she walked off with an attitude!!! This was the worst experience I've ever had at nfm!!! I'll think twice about spending my money here again....

We were looking for a tv. Took forever to get someone to help us. Asked one person and he walked away from us. Finally found someone and k had some questions and he just went through and made the sale but I did eventually get my questions answered. I was very happy about the price we paid overall but at pickup the guys were rude we asked if they could open the box cuz we wanted to make sure it didn't have any cracks and they got mad.

It's a great place to get your steps in... It's HUGE!! Be aware that there are three separate buildings: furniture, electronics, and clearance furniture. There is a huge variety of furniture, appliances, and electronics. The prices are pretty good, especially the bundle deals. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Be aware that if you want a special order item, you will be required to pay a down payment, even when using NFM credit card. Otherwise, it's a great place to shop or even browse.

Sales person, Tom, he was amazing helping us to get our new mattress and base. He showed to us different options, he was very patience, kind and friendly. NFM has a great deals on financing. You should buy here, seriously.

I was in the store for over a hour and no one aske...

I was in the store for over a hour and no one asked if I needed help! I dont know if it was because I was by myself and very pregnant or what but it was not what I've experienced in the past. Too many of the guys were busy talking amongst eachother to worry about doing their job. Anyway, when I finally asked a lady to help me after she was done with current customer she was very helpful and nice. She even apologized. So for her I give her 5 stars but my overall experience only 2. Not sure why so many thought it was ok to just stand around and talk when they had plenty of people they could of been helping. I even seen another couple have to get someone's attention to be helped too.

I think if you get the right sales person you have a great experience. We bought a mattress and bed frame and Doug was excellent, no pressure and answered all our questions about mattresses. There was a young man who helped us with the bed frames, he also did a great job at answering our questions and there was no pressure.

We ordered a couch for our son. Who does live on a higher floor of an apartment. But still..... The delivery men couldn't get it up the stairs. They removed 3 of the legs but not the 4th one. That leg kept catching on wall. My son signed over full liability onto himself. He just wanted them to get it up there. We ended up having to pay another $100.00 for a different couch. Plus NFM charged us ANOTHER $100.00 to re-deliver this OTHER couch.... We had already had to pay $100 or even $125 for the first sofa they couldn't deliver. My son whod been looking on the whole time said he and his dad and brother could have maneuvered that couch up those stairs......... Soooo...are we pleased and happy?? Ummmmm..... no. Sorry.

We had an amazing experience this weekend at Nebraska Furniture Mart. The store is HUGE and we spent many hours because there were so many choices! Sharon was very helpful and even helped with opinions on what would or wouldn't go together. We are very grateful to be able to work with someone that had so much interest in helping us. We will definitely be using Nebraska Furniture Mart again! :)

I just bought a camera a month or so ago and an ex...

I just bought a camera a month or so ago and an expensive lens a couple weeks ago but really have no clue how to use them. I went in to NFM looking for another lens. Eric explained the differences in the lenses and explained some of the features on my camera and really just took his time to help me. He didn t try to upsell me either. He was honest and told me that the lens I was looking at was not necessary for what I wanted to do. Epitome of customer service! I will ask for him every time I come in for more equipment!

Overall a good interaction. Scott Tate, appliance salesman, was quick and helpful. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and just needed to make the fridge & microwave purchase. He had me rung up and out the door in a few minutes.

Also, Gordon and Ricardo in the loading area were great! Very friendly, fast, and answered a couple questions I had as well.

Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to my new fridge having a dent on it. I wish there was a way to inspect my fridge before loading it up. I already contacted NFM about it however and am hoping they will make it right.

The employee in the small appliance dept does a wonderful job. She was very personable & knowledgeable about all the items I was shopping for. She even took me over to the tableware dept and made sure I found everything I was looking for.

We visited the store today for a dinning room set ...

We visited the store today for a dinning room set and buffet. Sitting at the table we decided on we were rung up for the table and the buffet and went on our way...to pick up the wrong table. Customer service promptly fixed our issue once we were home realizing that we had the wrong boxes but that doesn t change the fact that we re now going to spend at least another two hours reloading and driving all the way back to the store for an issue that shouldn t of happened in the first place.

Very helpful staff in terms of trying to find the best deal for me, but somewhat a lack of knowledge about the equipment they were selling and had to refer to multiple websites for information.

I don t think I ve ever received horrible service going to NFM. I love coming here to smiling faces and helpful people. Every department I walked into, someone was always willing to help. Karl, from the Bedding Department did a great job at keeping the conversation going and made sure I was taken care of before I left the store. This will always be one of my favorite places to shop for my home!!
