Nautilus Diner Restaurant Review

This restaurant is most definitely one of my favorite places to have a great meal at a decent price. It's very clean and the staff are accommodating and friendly.

Awful, the food was completely awful. Twenty dollares down the drain. Potatoes dry and taste like yesterdays breakfast. Called and didnt even offer my money back. But thats ok. Never go again.

Really enjoyed the shrimp salad sandwich and cole slaw. Facility was clean and areas were socially distanced. Staff was super accommodating!!!

My second time here, second time disappointed. Everything tastes the same, theyre waaay overpriced. I asked for a Grilled Caesar Chicken Wrap, they gave me what was obviously some chicken salad with huge chunks of lettuce && tomatoes. Yuck. However, the waitress is a doll.

Have been coming here for years. One of the best diners.

You will get a comfortable seat. You will get great, unrushed and friendly service. And you will need all the time to get through your generous portions of food! The deserts are also lovely but I have yet to have one because of the great feast beforehand. One day I must visit for coffee and one of those delectable looking sweets!

Good food. Friendly server. Just avoid the Turkey sausage. Tasted like a hotdog!

@ Nautilus we have enjoyed our meal. I always have enough to take some home for my lunch on the next day. The portions are hearty, more than enough, you certainly get your money's worth. The staff are polite, not overly friendly which I'm okay with because I never pass judgement until I walk in someone's shoes. Good customer service is all I need to be please.

Chicken noodle soup was great, but cream chipped beef was not. Service fair.

It's great if you can't find a waffle house and you're blasted. Big portions. The service was bad but it was after midnight so all bets are off in my book. Cool building so that's a thing

This place is just flat out "outstanding"! Great food, ultra clean, fairly priced and the staff are on the job.

Stopped by for brunch. Great food. The French toast was delicious, light, and airy

The atmosphere is good. My omelet was dry and they didn't do a good job with the baste egg.

This is an excellent, traditional diner. Their prices are a bit higher than what you would expect, however their portions are in line with the cost. The food selection is also very good with a large amount of options, over that of a traditional diner. We have been coming here for years on our way back from Baltimore and DC shows, and will continue to, well into the future.

Been going here since I was a kid. Great service and even better food!

It was my first visit. I went to cheer up.one of my girlfriends, her Mom had recently passed. We were able to sit and talk, eat a nice meal, the waitress took good care of us. When preparing to pay the check, I was asking the owner, about the homemade cakes and desserts, and he treated me to a free dessert.

It's a replica of a 50's dinner. Big portions food is what you would expect.

The owners are amazing, the food is great, they have a place to wait with comfortable seats while they make your take-out, and they are fast! Check out the tiramisu, it's amazing, as are the BLTs

The menu is overwhelming but the food is good. The crab cakes are fantastic, eat them until you want to die, then pick out a dessert that will make your know that you're going to die young.

Had a great experience here, we were in an out in good time. We were served fast and the food was a nice big plate. We even had left overs. It was busy being a Sunday morning but the staff handled it well.

Absolutely horrible food was disgusting we returned both plates they did serve alcohol that's a plus but the prices we're very high for such horrible food

Food was pretty good but our server lacked the basics on how to serve customers.

We had quite a bit of time between appointments so decided to stop for breakfast. They have the typical, extensive menu that most diners do. (Don't know how they do it!) Our waitress was very courteous and attentive, our meals were prepared and served quickly (not a lot of patrons at mid-morning AND the virus, of course) and the whole experience was very good.

Large menu, fair prices, good service, and yummy diner food.

This place is run well and the food is exactly what you should expect from a diner. You wont be wowed by new and exciting flavors, but you will get what you ordered done right.

Delicious crab cakes and London broil, exemplary wait staff!

I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was fresh and delicious and I didn't have to wait forever for service or my meal. Definitely going again soon.

My favorite diner in Maryland so far. Heaping portions and a staff that works like a well-oiled machine. Everything is good and despite it's distance from Baltimore you will run into someone you know here.

I've been coming here since I was a kid 20 years and I've never had a bad experience or bad food!! Now I bring my daughter here, great place!!

Food was great. The service was a bit slow but I would go back again.

My fiance and I dined here on 2/16/20 @ 6:30pm. We were served promptly and our waitress was polite but my crock of onion soup wasn't hot. It just barely passed being warm enough to eat and I didn't want to complain. The cheese on top was melted but not browned which lead me to believe that it was microwaved. My fiance and I ordered gyro platters. The pita bread was slightly warmer than room temperature and the gyro meat, like the soup, barely passed being warm enough to eat. The manager was nearby, so I asked him why they don't serve hot food? He replied that he hears that complaint frequently. I said, "You hear it that much and you're not doing anything about it!?" He realized what he had just said and changed his story to: "We don't hear it a lot but when we hear complaints, it's that the food isn't hot." I then asked if the onion soup is microwaved and he said, "not when it's cooked - only when it's not hot enough". He then asked if I wanted my gyro to be heated up which was by his words, essentially asking if I wanted my plate microwaved and I said no. IT GETS WORSE!

While we were paying, he was at the counter and apologized for the food not being hot. I told him that we're paying $50 for our meal and McDonald's serves their food hotter than Nautilus. He replied confidently, "When you come back, the food will be hot!" What an assumption! I told him there's not going to be a next time. He then asked my fiance if her platter was the same as mine and she replied, yes. He then chuckled and said, "At least we're consistent!". To which I replied, "Yes, and your review will be too", and he walked away.

The manager could have cared less about the quality our meals and only offered to microwave my plate to resolve their error and my dissatisfaction. His arrogance made him make statements and were not mean but were certainly stupid and to the detriment of the establishment. I will not return there again and have serious doubts if I will ever go to the location in Crofton that is apparently under the same ownership.

For a diner their food is pretty on point, huge selection. Only have eaten there once but the food was enjoyable.

Good solid diner food with some Greek dishes. Service is pleasant and professional. And of course the case of desserts when you walk in is tempting.Syrup is corn syrup not maple. Burgers and sandwiches are best.

Pleased with our experience today at Nautilus Diner! The food was amazing and the kid's meals even came with these giant cookies! My kids were so happy and I was pleasantly surprised! The food from the chicken tenders and wings to the grilled cheese and burgers to the omelets were all amazing. The order of onion rings was a very generous portion as well! We will be returning as Nautilus Diner has now made our list of regular spots to frequent! Thank you!

Good for a very late dinner or early, early breakfast. Food is mediocre at best. I prefer other diners in the area, but will stop here if there are no other 'diner-like' options available at the time.

Efficient , clean , great selections of food and the desserts are fantastic.

Busy but flowed very nicely. Granted it was Christmas Eve and we had a party of 19. Definitely recommend, Definitely don't recommend the southern chicken entree though. That was the only downside.
