Nautilus Diner Restaurant Review

Good service and food comes out quickly. Very clean place, love that. Waitress attentive to my needs.
I wasn't satified with my order at all.
*Vanilla Milkshake: glass was cold but my first sip was room temp like the milk used was sitting out or something. Also, lacked the flavor of vanilla. Tasted like nothing but a drink of milk.
*French Toast: lacked flavor. Tasted bland. Only real flavor came came from the butter i put on it.
*Eggs: ordered over medium, but they came out over easy just pure runny eggs. Waitress did offer bring me more eggs, thank you to her for that.
Ham: honestly the only good tasting thing on my table.

Pretty good food. Not bad, not great. Best factor is that it's open at 3 am when you need something to eat late.

They have tons of options. Come here anytime I need late night food. Food is 2/3 stars, but I like this place for the availability.

Yummy sangria, matzoh ball noodle soup, and shrimp/steak kabobs. Chicken kabobs excellent. BTW...oatmeal wonderful which they stop serving at noon.

Had breakfast food tonight. Always good service and great food! Very consistent and highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night!!!

This restaurant has a variety of everything. In the mood for breakfast? They got you covered. Lunch/dinner type food? They got you covered. And the desserts are amazing. The prices are very reasonable also

This is one of the only decent restaurants that stay open late. It is a place that serves stereotypical dive/diner food which is not a bad thing but theres nothing that stands out food wise. The dessert selection on the other hand is very diverse. They have delicious cannolis and the cheesecake is very dense so try splitting it with someone.

This is not why I gave this place 2 stars. The reason is because of the service. I know that a group of young adults/teens may seem like a hassle, but you are being paid to deal with it, and i make sure EVERYONE tips. The last time we went to Nautilus, the waitress thought we were disrespecting her. She said "how come every time I turn around you act like you have something smart to say." This assumption was wrong. It was simply a missunderstanding between our group and the waitress. Thats not the point. It was the fact that PAYING, REGULAR patrons were being disrespected.

Now i know how hard it is to work night shifts, but you are expected to deal with anything the same as if it was night or day. We will be returning here, but if this kind of discourtesy happens again we will be taking our buisness elsewhere. I dont want to get any one in trouble because I understand the struggle the workers of the food industry go through, but this attitude must change.

Haven't been to a diner in ages. Service was great. Food was good.

We usually go there for breakfast. The meal is prepared well and timely. The food taste great

Nautilus is the classic Greek dinner with an unbelievable assortment of food assortment in a 1" thick menu. How do they do it all? The service is fast, efficient and friendly. The restaurant and restrooms are clean (good sign), the food is plentiful and good. What else could you ask for? Get there early on Sunday to beat the brunch crowds. Did I tell you about their desserts? Unbelievably my brother in law and his friend finished there huge plate of pancakes... yum!

It's Our favorite go to place when we are on that side of town. Homemade soups. Homemade desserts. Great service . The daily specials are always delicious there Greek specialties are wonderful. You can sit and linger with your friend and they don't hurry you out the door. One of my favorite spots

I enjoy everytime that I go there, the food is delicious, and what can a say about the attention that staff have with the costumer, THE BEST! Everybody is just so kind. I strongly recommend this place.

Just left, and was disappointed. Our server wasnt the least but friendly. She didn't even crack a smile, say thank you etc. In addition, my food came out with a long black hair in it....barf! They remade it, but I honestly wonder if they didnt just relate it, as it literally took 60 seconds for her to get to the kitchen , get it remade and bring it back. So, I had no appetite.

Usually love breakfast here. Eggs were great. Belgium waffle had a weird taste. The pancakes were rubbery. Waitress didnt seem interested in talking about it Took 25 minutes for some one to bring me a check. Disapponted.

Very disappointed with my Service at Nautilus Dinner I called a order in went to pickup my food the person laid my card on the counter after she took my money out I asked where is my food she pointed all down to the other side of the counter I said you cant hand me my food you took my card for the money. When I got back to my job I had No Utensils in my bag for me to eat with, A called to speak with the manager, She goes I was right there she didn't mean to do that she's new I said ma'am that's not acceptable she goes we been here for 19 years We don't have any problems, matters not the years Everyone deserves great customer service.

I once ordered a piece of German chocolate cake that took me 3 days to eat it was SO good and so big!

Very large Cob Salad ($13), friendly staff, reasonable price.

Have been going here for over 20 years although prices have steadily risen, the food quality has remained the same.... GREAT.

Food was ok. They were very busy. Took a little while for each step. Ordering getting food etc.

The rolls were burned (visibly!), The food was bland, service was poor. Don't know why my friends like this place.

The food here is terrible. I probably wouldn't order anything other than a coffee or soft drink. Their fries are tasteless and have no seasoning. Their fried foods are pretty much the only items on the menu that faintly resemble something edible. I had their brownie sundae last time I was here with some friends, hoping that they couldn't mess up a simple brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top. I was wrong. The brownie came out cold and hard. Imagine a cosmic brownie that was left in a refrigerator for the last 10 years. 0/10 would not voluntarily go again.

I always stop in for a meal when I'm in the area. Clean andfriendly atmosphere, and great good in generous portions.

11.29 for 2 eggs bacon, potatoe and onion augratin? Cold toast.also an bloody Mary with enough horseradish to stop an horse in it's tracks.you had to drink it with a fork.

Love coming here to eat when I'm in the area. It's beautiful and great staff and food in delicious.

Every time we come to Timonium, we make sure to come here for breakfast at least once! The challah French Toast is beyond amazing and the omelets are large and satisfying.

The food is always good. The help is much better most places. This morning I needed the rest room. I am on a walker for.health reasons and a waiter walked from his station which was not near the door to hold it open. I have there several times and they always help. I will be back.

Great service.Servers are familiar with their repeat customers, which adds to the personal touch. Great food choices from breakfast to desserts. All baked goods made on site and super fresh, some are even dangerously divine! Well balanced meals with numerous healthy choices. Customers are so relaxed, we greet in the parking lot, give daily menu suggestions and bid Good evening! The surroundings are enviting and for individuals needing handicapped access, it is perfect. The staff and friendly customers are eager to assist in any way necessary.It's also a very kid/ family friendly restaurant as well. Even call in an order for pickup!

Great value for the entrees. Service was outstanding.

Very average at best. The $12.59 "avocado" omelet made it a challenge to actually find the avocado. The omelet was fairly bland and loaded with what appeared to be Velveeta. The waitress was very pleasant, but an otherwise disappointing experience.

Breakfast was tasteless and not so warm. Staff was indifferent to you needs. No warm welcome or goodbyes. Just pay the bill and get out. No reason to return.

I went here for breakfast. The prices are too high, especially for the quality of food. The service was okay - fairly quick, but not that friendly.

Fortunately, I got there just before the Sunday brunch crowd so my brother and I got a table right away. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was reasonably priced, fresh and delicious. Clearly, lots of people in the neighborhood love the place because they were taking names, and people were waiting patiently for a table by the time we finished our meal and paid our bill.

Update 9/1/19:

Went back to Nautilus Diner with my wife and two other ladies for lunch. I had an Italian salad. Fresh, very tasty. My wife had an omelette. She enjoyed it. Service was efficient and pleasant. Parking was free, and seating was immediate. I still recommend this place.

Update 7 March 2020:
Came here with my wife and six other people to celebrate a birthday. Food was great again. I had French onion soup and a grilled vegetable and melted cheese sandwich on a panini. We were seated at a round table for 8. Service was prompt and friendly. The servers sang to our birthday girl. An excellent dining experience.

A big variety of food to choose from and also a wide array of fantastic desserts.

Nice friendly staff traditional diner look food comfort food all tasted well everyone in my party in joyed with definitely go back again

I wish I could give this place no stars!!! There was MOLD IN THE DESSERTS!!! We ordered food as normal, ate it and then ordered dessert and there was mold on the bottom of it as if it had been sitting there for awhile! Completely unacceptable! Not to mention mice running under the tables. WILL MEVER EAT HERE AGAIN

The food was delicious pricing was just write the staff was kind and considerate we had orders for shrimp and Fries they were overcooked I express that to the waitress they immediately with no questions asked took it back and gave us a new order floor manager make sure it was all back perfect like it was bathrooms were clean that's a plus I would give 5 Stars there's one problem I see wrong with the restaurant I have a handicapped wife that was in a wheelchair the handicap accessible sidewalk was very good the doors should be automatic it was very difficult to roll my wife in with the wheelchair holding the door trying to hold her so they she don't roll down the hill it was very difficult to get into the door and into the door of the restaurant this is why you don't get 5 star from me so hopefully in the future you can get some automatic handicap accessible to be easier

I really like this place for lunch and dinner. Breakfast needs work. Seems to always be dry and burned. I do love the cleanliness of the place and the wait staff is very nice and always asking if u need something. The desserts are amazing as well. I say this is a great place to take your parents for lunch
