Course in the same great condition it always is despite excessive heat this week. Greens are fast and true. Excellent customer service. Be aware, no beverage cart service due to Covid-19. Love playing at Peninsula!

You will not go wrong by getting a round in at this gem. Peninsula State Park Golf Course is by far one of the most unique golf courses ever. We have been playing this course for years. The tournament they have every year in August makes this course what it is. I have played in the tournament multiple times since I was a kid and we are going back this year to play again. This course will always have a special place in my top course list. I have had a few personal achievements at this course as well! First eagle, lowest score at the time of 73 and champion of my flight!

I wouldn't recommend this course if you have a beginner in your group. My group (of 2) was asked to leave the course at the end of the second hole because we were 2.5 minutes out of pace to the course's recommended play speed. There was no warning of slow play - just a firm request to leave the course. Staff was very polite, but refused to let us let other players play through as they approached, or tee closer to the green to address concerns around slow play. To their credit - they did refund the course fees and offer a free credit to play on their par 3 family short-course when they had no obligation to; unfortunately, we were asked to come back a different day because the par 3 was "too busy for a party with someone still learning the sport". This was particularly egregious because a toddler was teeing off not 30 feet away as we were told this. Playing here was a bewildering and uncomfortable experience. The front staff in particular was so sympathetic during the whole strange ordeal that I've a hunch the manager has decreed a course-wide ban of anyone not up to his or her standards. Beware: if you have the bad luck to make a poor drive beneath Big Brother's watchful eye, you may find yourself removed from the course. Two stars because because the fairway was well-maintained.

Unbelievably beautiful course... lots of elevation changes and cliff shots. Beautiful vistas over the bay. Well maintained! Afraid to recommend it because it can be a bit crowded and I don't want to have to crawl over tourists to get on. If you go, get reservation FAR in advance. You won't believe it!

A very scenic golf course, especially the back nine. Playing conditions yesterday were awesome with the course in immaculate shape. Take a few putting lessons before you go because many greens are curvy. Some deep sand traps (I found some, unfortunately). Carts are highly recommended. 18 holes with a shared cart is pricey, $64 even on a weekday.

This review is for the short course. My wife doesn't golf and we went snd rented everything we would need (tees and balls you buy). They have a special reduced club set for this course and the course is very walkable. It was easy enough for a first timer and challenging enough to provide some interest for someone that does golf a couple times a year. Being a short par 3 course it goes pretty fast even for a beginner, but I personally liked that aspect.

Course is great, challenging enough and beautiful views. Staff is always friendly. You do run into a fair amount of non-regular golfers, at least around the 4th; I've had multiple instances of people hitting into us over the years (today we had a group hit near our feet 3 times in 4 holes with no courtesy warning or remorse.) Not taking anything away from the course, but just a heads up for peak season golfing

Really bad experience with the starter and Marshall. Called two days in advance to book t time, gentleman in the phone took my credit card and emailed a confirmation. I let him know there would be 4 playing and two along for the ride, his response sure no problem . We arrived 20 minutes before our t-time, as I m waiting in line behind two other groups of 4 that did not have a t-time, they just showed up to walk on, the starter starts barking at a guy because he saw a cooler near his car and aggressively tells him no beer is allowed unless bought there, the golfer was pretty put off. The golfer politer pointed out he did not have the cooler with him. The starter then proceeds to brag about having to really get after two groups . He tells the two foursomes they really shouldn t play there s too many people on the course, then proceeds to complain about the out of towners. The foursomes proceed to t- off five minutes after our scheduled t-time, hmmmm I wonder why the course is so crowded, way to manage the course. As my t-time passes while I m standing there listening to him complain , I finally get his attention, I say I m here for the 5:30 , he goes inside and comes out to quote me a rate. I have to remind him I gave them my credit card yesterday, he immediately becomes combative and says I didn t. Then he goes inside to check with other guy and comes out rather quickly to say , nope . Ok? So I say I ll go ahead and pay now as long as they will Refund me if I show proof of payment, ok. He quotes me for four, I remind him we needed to pay for an extra cart for Gma and wife who are just tagging along. NOPE you can t do that, only one of them is allowed to go in the third cart . So we can take a third cart, but we have to leave someone behind? His response, Yep, we are a very high end course and we have to uphold our image! It s our course policy! Seems to me the only policies they really they have is being uninviting, unprofessional, uppety And unorganized. Way to go. Ended up going down the road got on another course, with the wife and gma tagging along in their cart, had a great time. Will NEVER play peninsula state park goof course EVER again!

The course is fun but could be in better shape. There seemed to be a lack of communication between staff. We were told there was no one scheduled behind us when we were teeing off and then 2 holes later were told their league was starting and to hurry along. (We were playing best ball and were waiting on people in front of us.) Marshall, drink girl and cart corral guy all could have better customer service skills. They should understand they are a big tourist attraction and that not everyone is a local who knows everything.

Beautiful course. Great staff and service. GPS golf carts. I was very happy with playing this. Greens in excellent shape. Out of the 18 holes, they had one or 2 holes closed for repair. I'm not discrediting for that as the course volunteered a discounted rate due to it. You have to play this course.

We golfed there on 10/15/2020. The temperature was a crisp 46 degrees. The starter was very pleasant and given an actual little crowd at 10 a.m. the starter allowed us to start on the 10th hole seeing we were only playing 9 holes. The course was immaculate!! The scenery is beautiful!! They had young men on carts pulling blowers to blow the leaves off the fairways. We had a great day!! We absolutely love playing the course when we are in Door County. Thank you for a great time!

Would like to reiterate some of the same sentiments mentioned by others I've noticed online. Would hope to help others avoid the same mistake hoping to get a good round of golf in at this course. The staff unfortunately overshadow any positives and really make it hard to want to come back when there are plenty of other options in the door county area. They are not organized, not consistent with what is promised, they don't respect t - times, take too many walk ons and the course is consistently over booked and plays way too SLOW. Be ready to be disappointed, this is my second time and the same thing. Unfortunately won't make the same mistake again.

Great course, a real treat to play. Not super long, no water, but it uses the natural terrain and trees to create challenging shots that reward accuracy off the tee. Back nine is especially scenic with elevated tees on 10 and 17 that provide great views of the bay.
