Very nice and varied zoo. To visit on a sunny day, calculating that it takes at least 3 hours to visit it all. Price a little higher than average, but overall good in relation to the variety of animals

Beautiful historic city zoo, well cared for and easy to reach. There are still several cages too small for the animals, but this is known and is being worked on.
Nice zoo, well cared for. especially the amphibian part is beautiful. The restaurant is a turnoff, looks good, only the coffee is delivered in a half-filled glass, it is so little that the sugar cannot be dissolved in it, and pigeons rest on the bars. Price is very high.
Married 25 years. Get to know Man in Artis. Nice excuse to go back again. We saw for us one renewed Artis: animals more space, visible more color on their skin, animals were more active, more animals were born, plants were better, herb garden. It looked like Artis. Re-colored with colored pencils. Have a super fine day.
The animals are kept in ridiculously small enclosures, especially the lions. This zoo needs to seriously put the animals first over having loads of animals
Over the years it has deteriorated enormously, many animals are gone and the range of food and drinks is terrible, everything organic cola costs 4 per person an ice cream 3.70 with a very strange taste, parking 20 !!!
Quite small, but they make very good use of the space they have. Had a pleasant time. We also liked that you can see some animals from really close, like giraffes.
This beautiful zoo cannot be visited by wheelchair users alone. Some trails are just too bad or too steep. Hadn't been here for a very long time and was looking forward to it but accessibility was very poor. That is very unfortunate because the zoo is well worth a visit. Due to the poor accessibility for wheelchair users, I gave a low rating.
Lovely zoo, lots of different animals, a green space, playground and good food options. Shame that they didn't have prams, only kiddie carts which would better suit an older toddler (not my 1 year old).
One of the best Zoos I have been to, so many animals and it was well laid out. I really had a brilliant time here and would love to go back. I have a tattoo with the zoo name on my chest, we had a running joke that there no pandas at this zoo so I decided to commemorate the holiday with a tattoo of a panda holding an Artis sign
No disappointment here. Lots of animals, a decent aquarium too. Probably took us about 3 hours to get around but we'd been to a coffee shop just before
The zoo is quite accessible. A lovely place to visit, lots of animal art, beautiful sculptures. Very expensive restaurant. Also a planetarium to visit and the Micropia museum next door. Accessible toilets. Wheelchair borrow system for those who cannot walk long distances.
Great playground for the kids, although not accessible. The bridge to the restaurant is quite steep, better take the waterfall way on the other side of the playground. Gorgeous black panther, majestic elephants and many buildings housing all kinds of reptiles, monkeys, gorilla's. Lots to see!
A really nice Zoo.. great for a short visit.. u need around 2 till 3h to see everything.. I think they have nice animals and the zoo looks clean. (Reptilehouse is not so clean) anyway I would recommend to visit it while in Amsterdam..
Fantastic day out me and my wife had here, well laid out and a good selection of animals throughout the zoo, very impressed with this place, we spent around 4-5hrs here but you could easily spend longer here - a must day out if you are visiting Amsterdam. The only negative point in the cafeteria near the giraffes was the till service was so slow that food was cold by the time we got to eat it and this is off peak season we visited do don t know what park season will be like
