Fantastic views in this area, be carful of the Fog in summer. If you have a car head across the bridge and up the hill, go all the way to the top lookout then keep going, don't turn back, go down to the light house. Everyone turns back at the top and misses the best part. Then come back up through the old forts to the highway.

I visited south rim, where is private place. Don't pay for sky walker, you can't take any picture yourself and too expensive. Actually the last Point of the entire course where there is the native american restaurant has much better scenery.

Besides having several dozen view point on the Golden Gate Bridge, it also has hiking trails to the beaches which also has cool views. There are several decommissioned forts which is also cool to visit.

Beautiful park to walk around. Make sure you walk across the bridge at least once in your life. It's not hard, and the views on the bridge are spectacular. Don't miss other areas like Fort Point and the battery.

Tricky getting down to the beach, but all the more rewarding for it. Almost no one there but for a few fisherman. I use a cane and was still able to manage without fall or injury. Beware of the incoming tide! It'll eat the sand out from under you.

The bridge is an American icon and always amazed by the views and the engineering. It was free to drive over the bridge leaving San Francisco but had to pay $7 to go back with a fast track pass. Worth it for the experience but would go broke if it was a daily necessity

Decent park but lots of second hand pot smoke. The 420 games had lots of people smoking weed despite it being against park rules. Dont leave valuable in plain views lots of cars with smashed windows.

Bicycled from Ft. Mason to Ft. Point this morning along Marina Blvd, Marina Green and Crissy Field. Fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge heading west and on the way back the City skyline. A terrific way to exercise and enjoy the outdoors.

The Golden Gate bridge is truly a wonder. I did multiple visits just to this lovely place. Its constant surrounding of water and fog (#KarlTheFog) is just mesmerizing. Everyday is a different look and experience. I was lucky enough to take an airplane ride over this marvel. Karl, you beauty, just keep making this place more and more authentic everytime I visit.

Great open space with a small parking lot, outhouse bathroom, and plenty of places to dispose of your garbage properly. Hopefully everything who comes keeps up with maintaining the cleanliness of the spot

It was an amazing experience to walk the bridge and to be in the park. A must for everyone. Overall, I would estimate it takes about 90 minutes to cross the bridge. One side is for walkers and runners and the other side is for cyclists.

Wine was all solidly good! Did a wine tasting: 1 white & 4 reds. Afterwards decided to get a glass of Barbera, which wasn't on the tasting, and it was the best wine they poured!

We had the bruschetta - excellent- and a piece of the best apple pie I've ever eaten! It was a daily special: miso apple.

The new bistro is gorgeous and Sunny, the bartender, was a delight!

Wonderful time among huge sequioas and the misty air blowing from the pacific. Just 30 minutes away from Central San Francisco by public bus. Wander around the trails and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean!

A great place to relax and explore around in! There is a long trail along the coast that leads to beautiful scenery. Be wary of the rocks near the coast however; they can be hard to trek through and can be dangerous if inexperienced. Also remember to check the weather or else the fog will cover up the bridge. Other than that, enjoy the view and bring your friends along for a great walk near one of San Francisco's most iconic symbol!

This place is absolutely astonishing! Was able to go here with my parents just before they had to travel back to Europe, and it was an experience we will never forget. We watched the sun go down and see how SF slowly lit up, with the Golden Gate bridge right there in front of us.

One of the best and most beautiful areas in the world! Historic. Naturally breathtakingly lovely. Much to see and discover. A truly awesome place to see and to "be" -- Spend a lifetime here or come for a visit. Experience as much as possible of the GGNRA for yourself!

Just in town for a few days visiting family. Our kids enjoyed the walk, although it was a little chilly. Be careful of the off leash dogs. Plenty of folks throwing balls for dogs to fetch. A couple excited pooches jumped and knocked over our kiddos.

Breathtaking green mountains and tall redwoods, completely covered in shade with peeking sunlight. Lush vegetation, endless acres and hills to explore and hike through. Unspoiled nature at its finest. Highly recommended.

Really great place to have fun with family, and have a picnic with a parking charge of only $7.00 for whole day(compared to the rest of the city -it's amazing) get great iconic views and an exhilarating mini hike up the stairs to have access for a walk across the bridge! Just make sure you have your navigation set to Crissy Field.

Great views, but be prepared for windy weather. Worth to take a scarf and warm clothes. Don't be suggested by temperature forecast, the wind is really very cold. Nice sidewalk and a lot of places to take a photo. You can easily left the car for free for four hours, during the week you shouldn't have a problem to find a place for your vehicle.

Seeing the bridge from the many vantage points at the either approaches of the bridge was a memorable experience. We visited on a July day. The breeze was exhilerating and the intermitent fog added to the mystique of the bridge. There are a lot of recreational facilities at the sprawling park. Saw many joggers also.
