Very good airport I can safely say Riyadh has the best airport in Saudi Arabia. The facilities which we have are excellent. The eateries the coffee shops prayer rooms. Even the washrooms are pretty clean and well maintained.

It's relatively clean, bathrooms are good enough and equipped with bidets which is important for people who are used to it, I appreciated the smoking area although there is no enough seating there, the airport lacks organization, the info screens are not helpful enough, I didn't see my gate on them .. I knew my flight's gate through the voice announcements which would have been easy to miss, also the security gate to international connection flights had no one on it so we (including an elderly lady) had to wait there for around 20 minutes until a crew member came, and even after passing the gate there was no signs to tell where to go until after asking we realized we have to take an elevator, but overall it's a great improvement compared to Jeddah's airport.

A small airport that makes it easier to get around at no time. Facilities are serviced well and kept clean. There are 2 buildings for departure, one for Saudi airlines and the other one for all other airlines. On arrival, luggage claims are right after the immigration disks.

As a matter of fact this airport though old is pretty well equipped and has all the necessity for a traveler the new domestic terminal is awesomly constructed the airport looks fairly good enough and one cannot miss the large fountain right in the middle the triangular roof is a huge standout have traveled through this airport more than 15 times and I have to agree it's less crowded than expected and flights are mostly on time there is adequate options for cafe and eating and a decent duty free announcements are also pretty good but the silent airport is the new trend happy journey to all the travellers from this airport

I ll be fair and giving it 3 stars in comparison to other international airports within the region and globally, duty free is not up to the level, restaurants are limited, and some gates become very crowded due to limited capacity, I hope to fix all of these considerations.

The airport kills the "new terminals".

The airport kills the "new terminals".
Especially for transit, do not approach it.
The distance from arrival to departure is a long way away and you would miss the flight if you were a runner ..
And do not take into account if there is delay from the airport, the pilot company

God reward them good

God reward them good
The airport has easy access to departures or arrivals
Employees treat and clean up and provide all the services we miss at other airports

The airport is a joke. Perfectly designed for the sheep. There s hardly any space to move around or to sit down. And the seating provided is of poor quality and extremely uncomfortable. You can not drop off your checked baggage more than 3 hours prior to flight departure. And to top it all up, there s no lounges or rest areas before the immigration. Got stuck here for 6-8 hrs and it was a terrible experience. Staff were very polite and nice though.

Flight number XY111 on 3/6/2018, bound for Jizan, written in the boarding pass at 16.05, the call is delayed to 16.30 and the time of take off is 16.50 minutes. By plane, flynas would sell us a cup of water and a date pill
Good news, free breakfast meals were distributed from flynas during the auspicious flight
