The sheets smelled like mildew or mold. I woke up with an itch on my chest. It turned out to be a patch of ringworm! So gross! from the sheets or towels. I've never had it before in my life. This was a special occasion trip so you can imagine my disappointment.

Good service at front desk and valet with nice rooms and beautiful grounds. Baggage help employee was a bit judgy and rude so started out our stay slightly annoyed. Overall great stay! Loved listening to waves from our room at night.
Awesome hotel. You can tell the staff is well trained. Everyone smiles here and is super helpful. Beautiful location next to the beach and close to the promenade and pier. Amazing restaurants and room service. Ez beach access, beautiful pools and rooms...super relaxing. You will love your visit.
Very nice rooms and amenities. Nice pools and hot tubs. Was not a huge fan of the required walking distance to the room after getting off the elevator. Also the required valet was not entirely ideal.
Great facility, wonderful staff and excellent location We stayed here for a few days with his family recently. A great experience all round. The check in staff were excellent and dealt with every request. The room was spacious and had facilities for the family. The hotel is on the other side of the PCH from the beach and takes just 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Overall a great experience and would thoroughly recommend it. Perfect location.
Stopped in to the hotel to visit with out of town quests. Great access to the beach from the property because of the bridge over there PCH. The grounds of the hotel themselves are nicely laid out and we'll maintain.
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa for a wedding. The facilities were clean and beautiful; and beach adjacent. There was a convenient bridge to the beach from the property. We dined at Pete's Grill and The Watertable on the Property and the food was delicious. The service was a bit slow at the Watertable but the brunch made up for it. We wish the brunch extended a bit later on Sunday morning as we slept in, checked out at 11, then the brunch buffet ended at noon. The pools were clean, and the staff was helpful and attentive. Overall, it was great. It is a bit on the pricey side if you aren't planning to stay on the property and enjoy all of the amenities.
The Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach is one of my favorite local oceanfront resorts. The accommodations are upscale. The staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way they can. And the ambiance is sheer bliss! It's always an enjoyable experience.
Absolutely a class act, service, decor , location and so much more. It actually may be a better value than a Huntington Beach mortgage, although, I still my buy a home here and return to my home state.
When I come to HB this is the hotel I stay at. Only once have i stayed in the Hilton. This place is super fancy. Has a pool for kids and another pool for everybody to swim in. Has a spa for adults only which I don't know how that place is since I'm not old enough to go into that place. There is a bridge that you can use to get to the beach. Rooms were very nice. There was even a clock on the bathroom mirror! I took off a star because there is no microwave in the room I was in and parking was pricey. Overall great hotel.
You have to know that this is crowded and noisy place with many visitors, so if you look for privacy, you have to choose any other place. but Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort And Spa is still very awesome!
I attended this resort for a wedding and enjoyed my stay during the ceremony and reception. The location is really close to the beach perfect for a beachside wedding overlooking Catalina Island.
Amazing hotel, friendly staff, great ambiance. This hotel provided everything we can ask for. The word "NO" was simply not in their dictionary. Will not be looking for any other hotel when we visit Huntington Beach.
Beautiful grounds, excellent guest customer service from staff across all departments! Amazing amenities including beach chairs umbrellas and towels for the resort guests!
The facilities are nice but the conference parking is closed and the signs have to been updated to reflect this. Trying to get to the conference area is quite frustrating.
I was the DJ here last weekend. We did ceremony, cocktail hour, reception at the venue. It s beautiful inside and out. Set up is not too difficult to get in and out. Plus, you get it beautiful view of the ocean.
Everyone who works at the hotel is top-notch. They were great. The rooms could use a microwave, for the price, but were adequate nonetheless and you can not beat the location with a bridge going directly to the beach. Parking is pricey but at least you know your car is safe.
Went to get drinks and appetizers after a beach wedding at Pete's. The food was mediocre, very unsatisfying for the price. The environment was good though. There was a live band playing and people were dancing.
Kind of disappointing - for the price relative to the other hotels in the area we had expected more. The pools open at 8am but the slides don't open until 11 so kids jet lagged from the east coast are stuck. wifi just did not work at all - but made you think it was there with sign in page over and over. That drove me crazy. Also for $700 a night I just don't appreciate a $37 mandatory valet parking charge. Just charge me $750 and include it!
This hotel was awesome! It was right on the beach and the climate was quite temperate. There was also a nice breeze that persisted throughout most of the day. The rooms are very comfortable as well, had all that we required.
Went there for a work event and also to visit friends who were staying there. Excellent service, family friendly hotel. Great location. Nice pool, esp for the kids.
