This is a great museum, but is small and pricy. They have different exhibits whenever I come. The exhibits have been exotic birds and other animals when I have visited. I do not visit often generally because it is a musuem you must pay for. There are many other mueums in Washington D.C. that are better and free, which is why I do not go often. This museum is good for children as it is very interactive. The museum's shop is fun and you can buy an Atlas, stuffed anaimals, books and toys for children. This is a mueum anyone should visit while in D.C. as showcases very good exhibits and findings.

Great for every type of tourist! We went there for the National Geographic GeoBee finals. The museum was amazing. I learned a lot about ancient Egypt. The bathysphere is also extremely cool, and the dinosaur skull is amazing.

I went to see the Queens of Egypt exhibit, which was great! I ve seen a few of the National Geographic exhibits and i always have a pretty good time. The only criticism i would offer is that i found some of the informational plaques a little difficult to read. It might have been the type of font, the size, the color (in conjunction with the background color), the lighting level, of some combination therein.

Once again, a recurring thought pertaining to Philanthropy, if we had millions of whistles, we would blow the scandalous, corrupt and high crime right out of the swamp in DC, they would attempt to down play it, but there's no way to wrap their head around it.
They can ignor evidence, the will of the American people, ignor Helsinki, they can ignor the Ukraine and American patriot Sergeant Colonel Alexander Vindmin, but they would never ignor the sound of millions of World Wide Whistle resisters, [just think], it would just drive them nuts! Whistles are in, traitors out!Sharing is caring...

Not exactly what I was expecting but it was an amazing experience and probably one of my favorites while in D.C. I wouldn't quiet call it a museum (or a typical museum) because the permanent section is a bit of a joke but there were two exhibitions that were very interactive, modern, and well done.

It was my first time going to the Nat Geo Museum and am so happy I did. I visited the Wild exhibit and the Holy Sepulchre exhibit. Both exhibits were beautifully done. The technology used to take you through the Sepulchre was awe inspiring and the experience is still being reveled by the group I toured with. The Wild exhibit is one not to miss if you have an interest in nature photography and anthropological study.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It's a small museum, but they had a really neat virtual reality experience of the holy seplechre. They also have a whole timeline of national geographic photos and paraphernalia which was awesome. They even had a camera that had been bitten by a bear if I remember correctly. Small, but fantastic. They make it worth the price.

Small museum, but very well curated and designed exhibitions. My expectations for a show of Instagram photos was admittedly low going in, but they've created an incredibly inventive and engaging experience. Both shows are highly interactive, with multiple levels of engagement. Good for kids. Price is a little high for a 2 gallery museum (hence loss of one star), but I didn't feel like it was a rip.

The exhibits are incredibly interesting. We saw one about the tomb of Christ and it was interactive. The use of technology was very impressive. There was also an exhibit about the Titanic. It told stories that I was unaware of. I recommend this museum.

I'm sorry, we don't eat story. Your credibility is for the floors.
That the official narrative of the fall WTC 7 challenges elementary physics and say nothing ???
What a pity that they have also been bought and no longer have objectivity in the subjects.

The museum is very small + few samples + I stay to duty (National Geograpic have the greatest contribution to the world of the Biology of the Planet but they do not show it in their small Museum)

What a waste of money. For our visit it was around $50. There's nothing there, you walk around in a loop one the first floor. The size of the museum is about the size of one exhibit in a normal museum. If I could give it zero stars I would. I would recommend you spend your time and money somewhere else.

This is not a full museum per se compared to Smithsonian museums, there is a tiny permanent exhibit and two shows. Tomb of Christ was very good, with virtual experiences. Titanic exhibit is also nice, if somewhat similar seen in couple of other museums was mostly filled with props from Titanic movie.

The photo ark exhibit is amazing. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The pace had the feel of an art exhibit. It was not crowded or loud and I did not feel rushed. I would visit regularly if I lived closer. As someone else had said. I don't know how entertaining for children. The crocodile and alligator exhibit was pretty cool as well. The small live exhibits definitely enhanced the experience.

Fantastic museum with something new each time. The current exhibit covers the Queens of Egypt and does a great job detailing women's lives in ancient Egypt. One of the best parts is a 3D video exhibit where you appear to enter the tomb and explore. Highly recommend.

I visited the museum during the "Taste of Titanic" event and took the opportunity to see the Titanic exhibit. Although the museum is very small, they had several interesting facts about the Titanic and the movie.

This museum did an excellent job with the layout of their information and artifacts. It was a nice flow of patrons, and I appreciate that it was made clear what was a replica and what was on loan as an artifact. There is a great 3D video on Queen Nefertari's tomb within the exhibit. Highly recommend visiting the Nat Geo Museum for their general free admission displays and also their seasonal Queens of Egypt exhibit. Beautiful, clean, and friendly staff.

The Christs Tomb Exhibit was incredible. My entire group was perplexed and mesmerized throughout the experience. If you are in DC while this exhibit is open, it is a must see. The way that the technology is utilized perfected the experience and guaranteed that we would come back next time.
