The landscape does not need descriptions. The observation points offer unparalleled views
Spectacular views...highly recommend you stay till night fall for star gazing!!
A place if comparison is imposing and incredible the immensity of the great canyon
The lady has explained us very well to see the park.
It was awesome to he's some of Nature's natural beauty
Tours and information about Grand Canyon. As well as souvenirs and gifts. Pizza hut is in the inside to dine or takeout.
Tourist office, very nice place full of information on the Park. Very friendly people.
The rangers are very knowledgeable. Ask them anything about the park and the area, and they will help you!
If you like history, the Imax movie about the Grand Canyon is worth the stop! It's heavy on the discovery and early exploration of the canyon. The restrooms are large and clean. The gift shop is decently priced and has a large selection. Every staff member I talked was helpful and friendly. There is a restaurant here too, with Pizza Hut, but we did not eat there. A few displays spread around the theater entrance and exit show more Grand Canyon history.
Nice impression of history of the canyon. Unique bird's-eye view!
I went with my children and watched the GC movie and shopped around a little. There is a cafe, pizza and other food items. The show was okay, informative, but a bit outdated. We got a special deal for the show and only paid about 20 for one adult and two kids.
Grand Canyon visitor center..very good prices on souvenirs
Make sure to look for coupon available in local store for 1/2 off, you are watching IMEX show. We found out after paying full price.
Very clean with shuttle buses. Park is very well laid out. Obviously the main view of being there is spectacular!
The Pink Jeep tour to the Grand canyon was amazing!
Closed.... So not much to say here. Perhaps after the international fear mongering has subsided, we can revisit.
One thing I'm discouraged about is that all the items are made in China. Our government and its partners should set the example.
It's kind of cool. Depressing that all this stuff is so close to the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon though. I would have rather seen the land untouched rather than throngs if tourists paying for over priced gear. Other than that, the information is cool to read up on.
Enjoyed the Imax movie before taking a jeep tour from here of the grand canyon. My daughter and I had a lot fun and got some great gifts in the gift store for everybody back home.
The gate was fast. Not too crowded. Many places inside were closed. Gift shops had boring items. Everything was clean. Water bottle filling stations were understandably closed. Visitors were compliant with COVID precautions. Overall decent visit.
The IMAX movie about the Grand Canyon was excellent. Highly recommend to anybody traveling the.
Great information about the Grand Canyon area. Friendly employees.
Great information and to my surprise a gift shop with actually useful gear and high quality merchandise. Defenetly watch the iMax movie that is available in multiple languages.
I've seenthe Grand Canyon from the Las Vegas side and now I've seen it from the Arizona side. I would say that the Arizona side is much more spectacular.
What a great place to stop in and see what they have to offer inside. I picked up a few trail maps while at the visitor center. I like the maps because they are weather resistant and thorough. They seem to be well marked and accurate.
I have used these maps on hikes throughout the world and never been let down.
Was surprised to see this here. Better selection of trinkets than I expected, and it had clean bathrooms. Interesting travel-plaza-esque place.
Pictures can't adequately capture the immense size and beauty of this place. Every time I've visited the grand canyon my perspective is warped like I'm looking out of an airplane but while my feet are still on the ground. This is one of the few places I'd say everyone has to go to. No description, picture, or even 1080p video can adequately convey the view and surrealism of actually standing on the edge of this wonder.
Incredible place! Features an interesting and interactive video about the Grand Canyon. It is worth going there, as well as the souvinier shop which has many things.
Weak, I expected more, the impression is that there is no investment to upgrade. Portuguese language not available on Imax.
Terrible food and the store is terribly overpriced. Wait till you get to the grand canyon, the merchandise is a lot cheaper.
Amazing experience if you have time make this on your list!
Unless your plans include hiking down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, or participating in a rafting trip through it, be sure to start your visit here. The IMAX presentation provides a perspective that will add immensely to your appreciation of this wonder.
Going to any National Park is always a great adventure. Seeing the Grand Canyon was a great experience for the whole family.
Nice center with available shopping, dinning and info. Imax film on Grand Canyon spectacular!
Basically just an expensive souvenir shop and if you don't have an outdoor sweater you can get one here. The film about the Grand Canyon is nice and otherwise you can book the events here like helicopter flight etc. And also have a quick meal. If you have little time, you can skip this visitor center. It offers little information.
Great place for all your Grand Canyon Gear needs. From T-shirts, to hoodies, stickers, art, and hiking equipment. They also have a counter for booking tours, a cafe area, and a movie.
They have free IMAX movie about grand canyon and it's pretty good. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.
Great! Informative, great service, reasonably priced gifts.
Awesome IMAX movie, and some of the best Grand Canyon merchandise.
NOT the official visitor center! Not bad, and at least they're open during COVID, but realize it's not the official one.
Never went to the IMAX movie, but the souvenirs here are priced competitively to the gift shops at the Grand canyon. My recommendation is to pass on the lunch here (unless you have a free voucher from the tour company)
Good displays however the millions of years is false. The GC is overwhelming evidence of the flood and young earth.
One of the most breathtaking sites I have ever seen
Very scenic area, lots of camping, free entrance with military ID
I was sorry that I did not have a beautiful photo postcard or magnet compared to other tourist attractions. There were many Tina things to be a souvenir. Over time, there was also a National Geographic magazine. I did not buy anything.
