If you like history, the Imax movie about the Grand Canyon is worth the stop! It's heavy on the discovery and early exploration of the canyon. The restrooms are large and clean. The gift shop is decently priced and has a large selection. Every staff member I talked was helpful and friendly. There is a restaurant here too, with Pizza Hut, but we did not eat there. A few displays spread around the theater entrance and exit show more Grand Canyon history.

I went with my children and watched the GC movie and shopped around a little. There is a cafe, pizza and other food items. The show was okay, informative, but a bit outdated. We got a special deal for the show and only paid about 20 for one adult and two kids.

It's kind of cool. Depressing that all this stuff is so close to the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon though. I would have rather seen the land untouched rather than throngs if tourists paying for over priced gear. Other than that, the information is cool to read up on.

The gate was fast. Not too crowded. Many places inside were closed. Gift shops had boring items. Everything was clean. Water bottle filling stations were understandably closed. Visitors were compliant with COVID precautions. Overall decent visit.

What a great place to stop in and see what they have to offer inside. I picked up a few trail maps while at the visitor center. I like the maps because they are weather resistant and thorough. They seem to be well marked and accurate.

I have used these maps on hikes throughout the world and never been let down.

Pictures can't adequately capture the immense size and beauty of this place. Every time I've visited the grand canyon my perspective is warped like I'm looking out of an airplane but while my feet are still on the ground. This is one of the few places I'd say everyone has to go to. No description, picture, or even 1080p video can adequately convey the view and surrealism of actually standing on the edge of this wonder.

Unless your plans include hiking down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, or participating in a rafting trip through it, be sure to start your visit here. The IMAX presentation provides a perspective that will add immensely to your appreciation of this wonder.

Basically just an expensive souvenir shop and if you don't have an outdoor sweater you can get one here. The film about the Grand Canyon is nice and otherwise you can book the events here like helicopter flight etc. And also have a quick meal. If you have little time, you can skip this visitor center. It offers little information.

Never went to the IMAX movie, but the souvenirs here are priced competitively to the gift shops at the Grand canyon. My recommendation is to pass on the lunch here (unless you have a free voucher from the tour company)

I was sorry that I did not have a beautiful photo postcard or magnet compared to other tourist attractions. There were many Tina things to be a souvenir. Over time, there was also a National Geographic magazine. I did not buy anything.
