Family-like atmosphere. Employees are very friendly and welcoming. Mr. Harris, the man who is in charge of this wonderful facilities embodies a Christ-like and family-friendly atmosphere. If I ever return near the canyon I will visit the facility.

The place is really nice inside and interesting. The tourist are complete jerks here though. The grand canyon kiosk was very hard to use and made my credit card issue a fraud alert and automatically canceled the credit card for a few days which was great pain in my wallet.

Very nice. Lots of maps and books, plus a good selection of jackets, shirts and hats, in case you need more or forgot to pack something. Also they sell a small collection of Pendleton wool blankets/throws with southwest design. There's an IMAX theater with a cool "inside the canyon" movie. Also a snack bar and ice cream.

Breathtaking and perfect view from every angle. The earth always paints a spectacular vision of art. The Grand Canyon is a great calming place to go, it was much cooler than I thought, so have a jacket!

The photos speak for themselves. The park is much more accessible with more options of how to experience the wonders of this must see site. We plan on biking next time to Hermits Rest and back. A trip down to the river on H2O pontoon bikes is also a plan for the future.

Quite expensive souvenirs from the Grand Canyon and clothes can be bought here. A film about the Grand Canyon as well as its history and discovery will be shown in the Imax cinema. The aerial photos are the most fascinating, but in times of drone cameras and HD they are no longer up to date. A fast food restaurant is also available.

Marvelous

The IMAX movie is a Complete waste of money. Learned nothing about the Canyon. The film itself is 90 s IMAX quality.

It was ok, definitely a tourist trap. It has a lot of interesting information on the history of the Grand canyon, and the Pink Jeep tours start here, but it is mostly another gift shop. There is a pizza hut express, but I recommend going to Wendy's or McDonald's or the little gift shop next to Wendy's has a cafe.

Visited the Grand Canyon about 15 years ago. During that time there was limited parking, which made the time very chaotic. This visit during June 2019 was organized with the various shuttles transporting people inside and to and from the park. Stress free!!!

I drove 3 hours from Phoenix as a day trip for my family. The elevation reached over 6000. We had a great trip to Phoenix from Dallas. We Spent $60...on some awesome souvenirs to take back to Dallas. The IMAX SHOW was Great we saw the 2:30 show. My husband and Daughter enjoyed the HD of the IMAX 30 min show. The center has Tours , and a pizza hut. Nice location centered around shops , hotels and more

We stopped here on our way to the Grand Canyon. I expected some sort of exhibits or educational things about the Canyon. It really is just a large overpriced gift shop and a few fast food places. It's also where you sign up for guided yours. We didn't watch the IMAX movie, frankly I didn't want to spend the money when I was going to see it in person. If you look hard you can find a few souvenirs for a reasonable price.

It was nice. Enjoyed food options and store was nice. Really wanted a necklace and earring set. 1 earring was missing and I asked guy if they had it or another they did not and he didn't want to give a discount.

When you go to a tourist information center, everything you expect to receive hospitality is, and of course information. Before entering the Grand Canyon Park, I stopped here set me on the activities for my stay. However, the attendants were very harsh and only gave me brochures. If it's just for that, you don't need an attendant, do you?

Literally an overpriced gift shop. The employees all stood in a circle behind the counter chatting and laughing and ignored us the whole time. If you re looking to learn anything about the Grand Canyon or need help with directions or planning, go to one of the actual visitors centers in the park itself.
