As a Formula One fan, I found a lot to enjoy at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The simulator in particular was easily my favorite part. Some of the interactive displays needed some work, which kept us from getting the complete experience, but overall a we'll put together museum. The movie at the start was very cool, and the staff treated us well.

There's enough to do to keep you occupied for a couple hours for sure. If you're into racing, I would recommend getting the admission that includes the simulator!

The home of NASCAR. You wouldn't know it from just the outside but this building not only contains the NASCAR Hall of Fame but it also contains the ever so popular week day show NASCAR Race Hub. And the Developers if NASCAR Heat series also work from this building. They call Charlotte the heartbeat of NASCAR. Well this is the building where the thumping takes place.

A fun way to spend a few hours. Although the facility is starting to show some age. Some updates would be nice hence the 4 star rating. Nascar is an ever changing sport so alot of the trivia and information is dated. A must visit attraction for any racing fan.

Really good loads to see. We was both shocked by how long we spent in here. Would of been 5 stars but would like to see a part where some cars have the bonnet open and maybe few times a day start one so you can hear it.

An awesome place to visit for NASCAR fans like me and people who barely know about the sport. I loved it as soon as I walked in and enjoyed every car, exhibit and interactive booth. My favorite was the simulator and the pit stop challenge.

The 70 + year history of NASCAR all in one place, expertly displayed. One doesn't have to be a rabid race fan to enjoy this place.
I felt that it was extremely interesting and also a great value for the price of admission.

Our last visit was breakfast with Santa included skating with the mascots of our sporting teams in Charlotte the exhibit at the time was a salute to Tony Stewart was very thorough and added to the pleasure we had that day plan to be there for many hours to enjoy everything it has to offer

I have only been there for a corporate party and this review is just for that.

Parking is accessed from the outside of the building and not clearly signed.

Main display hall is wide open and has some historic cars. While this space works well for it's primary function, it does not convert well as an event venue. Bright lights, cavernous and echoing volume doesn't feel intimate or ceremonious. It really felt like we were all standing in a large lobby waiting to walk into the real venue.

The hosting staff was efficient but not hospitable. They cleaned up many of our plates while we were still working on it. Security staff with loud walkies kept walking through the crowd.

The security staff started to close down areas and harass folks to leave ten minutes before closing time.

In conclusion, go there for the exhibits and attractions but it doesn't double well as a company party location

Really well done. Love the Richard Petty display that they did to celebrate his 80th birthday with Richard and his family. That's the family spirit and commitment you expect from NASCAR. I love the 825hp custom Petty Mustang in that display!

The simulator was cool but way overpriced, the pit stop was a lot more fun and you really feel like you're actually doing everything. Feeling the weight of the tires and gas can was pretty neat as well. You could definitely spend all day there since there are a ton of artifacts and reading but I imagine you could breeze right through in an hour if you really wanted to. The rock and race exhibit was ok but I wasn't impressed, especially when that part is surrounded by all the glory road cars. The banking the glory road cars are on is pretty neat too, there are places where you can step up to feel the intensity of the angle. I would go back for sure the staff was wonderful and helpful and make sure you watch the little movie when you first walk in. It's only a few minutes and they pretty much herd you in there anyway but it gets you pumped up to see everything and really gives a good picture of the history of the sport.

we paid extra for tickets for unlimited simulator rides only to discover that all but two of the machines were broken and there were huge lines for the two machines that worked. they should have at least warned us about the broken rides before we spent the extra cash for them

I cant say I'm a huge nascar fan, but this place was very impressive. The cars, history, was great to see, the amount of memorabilia and unique items you'll never see anywhere else makes for a great experience. From the simulators to changing tires on a cut away car, touring the transport trailers and visiting the hall of fame, if your in Charlotte definatly a place to visit if you've ever been a race fan

About NASCAR Hall of Fame

NASCAR Hall of Fame: A Shrine to the History and Heritage of NASCAR

If you are a fan of NASCAR, then you must visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame. It is a shrine to the history and heritage of NASCAR under one roof with ever-evolving exhibits for you to explore. The museum is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is considered as the heartland of stock car racing.

The museum was opened in 2010 and has since become a popular destination for fans from all over the world. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece that features interactive exhibits, artifacts, and memorabilia that tell the story of NASCAR's past, present, and future.

One thing that sets this museum apart from others is its focus on education. The exhibits are designed not only to entertain but also to educate visitors about the sport's history and how it has evolved over time. You can learn about legendary drivers like Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson among others who have made significant contributions to this sport.

The museum also features state-of-the-art simulators where visitors can experience what it feels like to be behind the wheel of a race car. You can test your driving skills on virtual tracks or even compete against other visitors.

Apart from these interactive exhibits, there are also several galleries dedicated to showcasing different aspects of NASCAR's history such as its evolution from moonshine runners during prohibition era into one America’s most popular sports today; how technology has changed racing; how safety measures have improved over time; among others.

Another highlight at this museum is its collection of historic cars that have been driven by some famous drivers throughout their careers. These cars include Richard Petty's 1970 Plymouth Superbird which he drove during his record-breaking season when he won 18 races out 32 starts; Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s iconic black No.3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS which he drove during his seven championship-winning seasons; Jeff Gordon’s No.24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS which he drove during his four championship-winning seasons among many others.

In addition to these permanent exhibits at the hall fame there are always new temporary exhibitions being added throughout year so every visit will be unique experience for visitors who come back again after few months or years later they will find something new waiting them inside hall fame walls .

Overall if you're looking for an immersive experience into world famous motorsport then look no further than visiting NASACR Hall Of Fame where you'll find everything related with Nascar under one roof!
