We loved it at this Hotel until they decided to make the floors hard wood and remove the carpet. It just doesn t feel like a hotel with hard wood. The redesign doesn t feel as homey as the previous look.

This Marriott use to be a favorite. Now it has been remodeled and is worse than a Motel 6. For $289.00 a night it is less than a Hampton Inn. The rooms have no carpeting. Everything is grey and black sterile. The lobby decor is disgraceful. No sofas only small black leather little chairs. We will never stay at this armpit of Marriotts again. They destroyed the Ambience it was. As a BonVoy Member, it means nothing at the front desk checking in. The glass pocket door to the bathroom is a joke. When Starwood sold to Marriott they lost it. There is a new super Hampton Inn 10 minutes away. The window view is a roof.

Not the cheapest around but overall an excellent choice. Large, very comfortable rooms, baths and showed, quality everything. The restaurant is also excellent. Breakfast buffet is very good and wornth it even at $15.

Would be nice if complimentary coffee and water were available...there is only a Starbucks, but the service is hands down excellent. Also there is a 24hr shell conveint market and fuel 1 mile away.

Unfortunately there was nothing about this stay that was pleasant. It was my families first out of the house event in over 100 days and I trusted Marriott to be up to deliver on a wonderful experience and I was sadly very disappointed. When we arrived at the hotel 4pm on Friday I waited in a line for 45 minutes to check in. There was o line for elite members ( I am Titanium Elite) and when I inquired about that possibility I was told I needed to wait with everyone else (first Elite perk fail). When I inquired about an upgrade I was told no availability without the clerk even checking; interesting I asked a housekeeping staff member who told me there were in fact suites sitting empty that weekend (second Elite perk fail). Because the concierge club was closed due to COVID, I asked for bottles of water and was told none were available; I could see through the window of the locked concierge Club a refrigerator stocked with water bottles. (Third elite perk fail). I asked about breakfast vouchers and was only given one that covered two of my party of 4; if the concierge club was open we all would have been eating breakfast there I mentioned this to the clerk and he said there was nothing he could do and I had to pay for the extra breakfasts (fifth elite perk fail).
Despite the commitment from Marriott to increase cleansing and sanitizing during COVID, the hotel was disgustingly dirty, actually it was filthy. Trash cans in all areas were overflowing. (general Marriott fail). When we wanted to call down for fresh towels since our room was not being serviced, we attempted to dial the front desk and the phone had a dial tone but need connected with anyone, despite trying all phone buttons (general Marriott fail). When we walked down to the front desk to ask for towels we were told some would be delivered outside our room in a plastic bag.....nope, did not happen (general Marriott fail). We had to venture out again and flag down a housekeeping staff member......

The front entrance was beautiful. We needed to attend an event held in one of their ballrooms, and after we received help from the receptionists, we were able to find it well. The place is very clean and there are more than one rooms for events as another event was taking place while we were. Once we left, the new receptionists were very courteous and actually felt like they were happy to see that we were happy.

Various issues - room was not clean and there were missing items - bath mat and robe in particular! Attempted to order room service via service #, front desk and restaurant- no one answered the phone In any location for over 30 minutes and when the order was eventually placed it arrived 90 minutes later and was cold/soggy. I provided feedback to Marriott Bonvoy in two different occasions who assured me that I would receive a response directly from the hotel - never got any reply! Worst experience ever at a Marriott property after 25* years as an elite member!

I prefer to give 3.2 star. Hotel is nice and clean, good location and front staff is good and proactive. While attending the function (2 days) I not only noticed but was surprised to see the mismanagement. No water or drinks, out of cutlery, trash is piling up, not bringing the food on time and so on.

A great up scale spa that caters to your wants and needs. Freindly, professional & judgmental free. They offer use of their facility which includes their showers, steam room, shared use of the hotels heated pook and hot tub and of course their srvices, professional massages, facials, make-up beautician and hair stylist. If you want to get pampered I recommend this spa for sure! Pricy but you deffenitly get what you pay for. Worth it.

When you walk in, its beautiful. To the right we decided to eat at the bar. All we wanted was a little snack so we ordered french fries. The waitress was a little old blonde woman, she couldn't wrap her head around is just wanting one thing. She treated us like second class citizens. I asked for barbecue sauce and she scoffed and walked away. Then when we asked for our bill she came up to our table, slammed it down, and said word for word, " I dont think you'll be able to afford this, its 4:07" we just sat there with our jaws to the floor. I have never been treated so poorly. Unprofessional this woman was. I'll be calling them to figure out her name because that was just so unacceptable.

Hotel was very clean and and updated, modern style. Bed was very comfortable, better than home. Although it lacked some minor amenities I would have expected in any normal hotel. No radio or music playing device in the room. There was no microwave available anywhere in the hotel. I had leftovers from eating in the on site restaurant and wanted to heat them up. Even front desk said there wasn't one in the hotel...so that was annoying. Other than that it was just as nice as any regular hotel was. Thanks.

Great from the start.

Great from the start.

We had an awesome first vacation in Mystic at this clean and well run hotel.

It's located perfectly near I-95. The Seaport, Aquarium, and beaches are all within 15 minutes.

The people who work here make the difference though.

The manager Mariah and her staff went above and beyond. They catered to our family needs and truly gave us an experience that defines hospitality. I can't speak more highly about this hotel. I recommend it for anyone going to the greater Mystic area.

It is because of this stay that I am using Mariott any chance I get.

We came here for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The hotel was in excellent condition and you could tell it was recently remodeled. The staff was friendly and went out of their way toale sure we felt accommodated. We ate at the breakfast buffet in the Octagon restaurant both mornings. The food was great. We ate dinner there one of the nights as well. We got a couple's massage at the Red Door Spa. It's nice that they have both a spa and restaurant right at the hotel. Highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were very nice and clean. Location was great (just off the highway). The ballroom was beautifully set up and the staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Service at the bar was very slow for overpriced drinks

Staff was friendly and welcoming. We came from another hotel due to having a bad experience there. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. everything was great and we will be coming back.

Stayed overnight for an interview the next morning. Hotel was clean and very well kept. The room had nice decor and the beds were comfortable. Only complaint about was that there was no microwave and the fridge was really tiny. They also have a restaurant and bar in the hotel so that was very convenient. There is also a spa but I didn't have time to see it. All in all, it was a good experience.

What a lovely hotel! Renovated, great size of room and amenities. Starbucks, Octagon steakhouse, spa and pool/hot tub. All around, had a great time. Only 8-10 min from downtown Mystic Seaport. We grabbed Mystic Pizza to go and brought it to hotel before checking in. So nice! Staff was great. Thank you!
