Clean, comfortable rooms. Good food. Somewhat noisy in rooms, however.

Very nice, recent remodel so rooms are great; they have the vinyl faux-wood flooring in the rooms instead of carpet. Only issue I had was that they just installed their digital key system, and it doesn't work great. Failed to open my room quite a few times. Regular key card worked, but I like to use the digital option when available.

Really good place to stay. Im so in love with the spa and the good services they give.

The ballroom was well suited for the Fred Astaire competition I attended. No complaints.

Great place, clean, friendly staff, lots of convenience with the onsite restaurant, room service and indoor pool. Would highly recommend, one of the better hotels in the area.

Excellent hotel...clean and very friendly and helpful staff

The rooms are nice but no better than your average 4-stars Marriott property. The gym is better than average and actually have a Smith machine with plate weights. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. There's a Starbucks in the lobby as well as a bar with good food options. Location is great as it is only 5 mins from downtown Mystic.

Easy to find, clean, decor updated, and 5 minute drive to Mystic town. I wish the hot tub was open but understand the precaution due to the pandemic.

Stayed one night and liked it so much booked additional days here. Bad move. Needed a luggage trolley to get my things inside. First nights stay there no issues with them giving us one to load up and take to our assigned room. Second time around a man named TY gave us an extremely hard time getting one. He said they don t hand them out due to COVID. I said well I was here a few days ago and no issues. He said I am doing as I am told. Not sure who told him this.. because I spoke to management and they said they are absolutely available for guests to use. So going back to us not being able to use a luggage trolley .. TY mentioned someone would come out to our vehicle and assist us. We stood around for 20 minutes which felt like a lifetime no one ever came to assist us. So we were forced to lug our things in ourselves. A tall bald older heavier man saw someone in my party struggling with the items and asked if we needed help. (Not sure how he was going to help seeing how he was already helping someone else) was he going to carry the item over his shoulders and levitate to our room? While continuing to help the other guest at the same time? I walked past him not wanting to engage. He said to me Hi! ,how are you I looked at him and said I d be a lot better if someone had helped us as I was told someone would. He started talking over me as I was trying to talk. Then he stopped and said what? Of course you couldn t hear me. If you stopped running your mouth you would have heard me. Terrible customer service. Extremely rude and inappropriate. He should be fired. He is doing your hotel no good. Hire someone who actually cares about there job. It s not that hard to be polite and friendly. Give it a try. It s relatively easy! So I bump into this guy again the very next day (wish I knew his name so I can post it and shame him he needs to be shamed for his behavior) he looks at me as if he had something he wanted to say. In an aggressive way. As if he had an axe to grind with me. Honestly? What are you doing picking fights with guests? Shame on you. Would I recommend this hotel yes if this guy gets fired. If not then no stay elsewhere. Save you hard earned money and give it to a hotel that truly cares for your business.

Friendly staff, great food at the Octagon Steakhouse

It's a high quality hotel featuring a spa, restaurant, and contemporary rooms. Reception was friendly and attentive and offered me bottled water and fresh fruit. The rooms were modern with sliding door showers, a chaise lounge, and a desk.

I'm not particularly fond of hard ceramic hotel room floors as they can be noisy when someone drops something on them (in the middle of the night). Additionally, I found the bed and pillows to be uncomfortably soft. I sank down into the bed and could never quite get comfortable. Maybe I could have slept better on the floor.

I love the look of this hotel. The grounds are so well manicured and I felt like I was entering a 5 star hotel when I walked into the lobby. The room was upscale without feeling like I was going to break something. The staff were always courteous and professional. The only two reasons I won't give this hotel a 5 are: I didn't like that we couldn't hook up a laptop to watch netflix due to their input block and; the plumbing in an adjacent room was quite loud.

This hotel s main purpose is to host weddings and galas. If you are just looking for a place to stay, you are not their priority. Our room hadn t been cleaned - there were dirty towels and used soap left in the bathroom, as well as an I flushed toilet. They were over-capacity which means the room was much more expensive than normal and so there was no parking. It was very disappointing and not worth the price we paid at all.

Our room was ready for an early check-in, which was very helpful for us. Every staff person we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was was great. We would love to come back here in the future.

This review is for the Red Door Salon located within the Mystic Marriott Hotel. This is definitely a five star salon! I had a gift card for a signature massage, manicure and pedicure and I highly recommend all three. From the time I arrived to the time I left, everyone there made me feel like a movie star. They gave me the softest robe to wear, slippers and unlimited water, tea and coffee in the relaxation room. They even accommodated my party of 3 and timed everything perfectly so that we got to experience our spa day together! This is great for a spa day or for just one service. I will be back for sure!

I was staying there for a wedding - the room was nice and the staff was very friendly, would recommend.

My family and I had checked in on July 4, so we can bring kids to Mystic aquarium on second day. The package included the hot appetizer, dessert and breakfast, sounds nice, but I was upset at their service in the 6th floor's lounge. We had been there three times, never receive a greeting or eye contact with the lady who worked in there where only has few tables. She always showed behind me or having a long talk with other people or had sung a happy birthday song. The lounge has less than 10 tables, I felt terrible to be ignored intentionally. My husband and I don't want to interrupt her conversation with other in this quiet lounge BUT I knew she saw us and while she was talking about her master degree or saying good morning to other people. I hope this is not discrimination but her attitude only. What I know is I can 100% guarantee that I will not renew my Marriott's membership and return to this Hotel again.

Snafu with the reservation but they were able to accommodate at least part of my booking. Room was comfortable. Sheets don't fit bed and come untucked right away. Restaurant breakfast buffet was fine first morning and got worse each day; looked like same bacon and sausage on day 3. Staff was great. Dinner was great. Bar needs to be cleaned.

Potential to be a great hotel, however my stay in room 537 left a lot to be desired. Room wasn't ready when's we arrived after 4 P.M.. Had to get ready for a wedding, so we changed into our finest in a locker room. Came back after midnight and we were given a room without A/C, just a noisy fan from the front desk to keep cool by. Room was sparsely appointed with no chair for the desk or chair for that matter to relax in. To tired to request a different room, so we just crashed on the heavenly beds until morning. Bathroom appeared to be recently refurbished, but otherwise great. Breakfast was great, but had to wait a half hour to be seated. Staff was always warm and helpful.

Had a wonderful night at Mystic Marriott celebrating 8 Valentine's day with my love. The waitresses at the restaurant where very nice as well.

We were guest on a wedding. We arrived early Friday morning for the rehearsal dinner. Check in time is 4:00 pm however we were allowed to checked in at 10:30 am the time we got there. For me that's an impressive accommodation and service. The staffs were polite, the lobby is very inviting. The wedding reception was great and so as our weekend. Kudos to Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa.

Great stay while in Connecticut to drop my daughter off at rowing camp. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, room service food edible and affordable. Starbucks in lobby a great bonus.

Went their for a banquet. Ballroom was nice and the food was very good. Usually food at these events are touch and go.

This hotel is just ok. Service seems tired. Housekeeping was not good about replacing/restocking the essentials - toilet paper, tissues, towels, shampoo, etc. Service in the concierge room was uneven (I know it's a free perk, but if they're offering it, it should be good). No real negatives (well, except for one evening in the lounge), but nothing positive to point out either. Again, just ok.

Terrific anniversary weekend! My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, and were very happy with how we were treated by the staff. Very convenient location, and the restaurant was terrific.

Clean and quiet hotel. Not close to Mystic at all (you need the car to get into it)

I stayed at the Mystic Marriott for my wedding weekend and the experience couldn't have been better. The staff was extremely helpful, the rehearsal dinner was amazing, and the room was perfect.

Hot water temperature has to be increased. Sink design not the best for men, when you shave, hair remains in sink. 6th floor elevator button is stuck.

I was at the Marriott for a trade show. The staff was great and the food was excellent.

Room was very dirty and the staff refused to clean it. the most they did to make the room was clean was changed the sheets but even that was not very well done.

In terms of customer service it took multiple attempts to get them to actually follow our directions for example when we asked for towels we got only one even though be explicitly asked for multiple towels

I have seen better Marriotts in a small town in India.

Overall a very bad stay will not be coming again

As always, the Marriott was the perfect host for the event of the day. A lot of my friends attended the Platinum Performing Arts Competition there, and it went really well! Thank you to the hotel for an excellent location for an event.

Good location, very close to 95, rooms are adequate, no noise transmission from adjacent rooms. The hotel also has a good baroff the lobby.

Planning a wedding in the area in May, I'm using this hotel for myself and my guests I couldn't be happier. I've made several unplanned visits, full of question and everyone that has helped me has been fantastic.I've been planning our stay with Kelsey and couldn't be more impressed with the service I receive. The recent renovation is fantastic! Everything is beautiful, clean and classic. In LOVE with this hotel.

If you want to stay in the quite place and rest this is not a good spot. We came Friday. Over night behind the wall at 12:30 was a big party. We couldn't sleep. We called the front desk twice. Party started again at 6:00 am. They moved us to the next room. Unfortunately, it was plenty of elementary students running and scrimming in the hallway after 10:00 pm. I had to speak to their teacher again. That hotel was a mistake.

The rooms and staff were great. They told us there was a shuttle to foxwoods but it wasn't running the day we needed it. It is about 15-20 minutes away from the casino

Clean rooms. Renovated in the last year or two. Bar area is ok and the food is average for a hotel but its 2 seconds from my home office so I'll stay here again anyway.

The beds need replaced throughout hotel! We changed rooms due to the mattress and the new room mattresses were just as bad......won't be staying here anymore

Rooms were clean and well set up, staff was friendly, bathroom was nice.

Beautiful place. Food was amazing. Had filet and it was perfectly cooked.

The hotel charges more for a corner room and lake view - there's no such thing as a lake view in most of the rooms.
The room and hotel were very clean.
The restaurant breakfast was luke warm most of the time and pricey for what you got.

The food services were excellent. The bedding was a bit too hot for the weather, but the mattresses were comfortable. The rooms themselves were spatious like normal hotels. The staff were helpful and cooperative. Overall, i would recommend the experience for the pricing.
