Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa Reviews

We attended an event in the Marriott Ballroom Sat March 25. It was a great event. The staff was very helpfull with the set up. The food was great too.

The Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa was very nice. I was there for a conference and the conference rooms and ball room was nice and big. They provided lunch and the service was excellent. I would go back again.

It was pretty good but kinda small for the event I was at.

Very friendly and easy to get everywhere from the hotel.

The staff is excellent, The meals are delicious, everything related to or at this hotel is amazing

Easy to get to, right off the high way. Friendly staff. Moden room for sure! Kids had a blast in the pool.

Beautiful view. Great hotel. The beds were so awesome.

Just went for Starbucks, only problem was that there was not a clear sign outside as to where the Starbucks actually was.

Got a couple's message at the spa with my wife. Great message and experience. Costly but worth it!

We stopped by here while helping and teaching wounded warriors how to scuba dive,,what a nice place,clean ,workers are very friendly and helpful in getting us around the area and in general just being nice to us and the men and women who help protect us and the way we live,I'd come here again without a doubt,thank you

We stayed in a two queen bed, xtra space corner room. I will say that they had a friendly staff, nice bar and restaurant. The reason I rated a 3 star is the beds were very soft, not a good soft, an old soft, where your head and feet are higher like sleeping in a hammock. Don't spend extra for this size room, not worth the cost.

Placed in a room for the disabled. Only a small dim shower light in the bathroom and no room on the vanity so I had to apply my makeup using a table near the window. Otherwise it was fine and the staff were very polite and helpful.

We met some Friends here who were staying at the hotel. We used the pool. The hot tub had ample seating and felt very nice after sitting in stadium seats all day. The hotel was clean.

Spa was great me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our message, the staff at the Red Door were top notch, I would recommend it to anyone

Very good location with easy access to sightseeing, etc. Hotel also boasts an excellent dia, Red Door Spa, which I can recommend.

We were the last event to use the ballroom before renovation. Management handed out markers and let us fill the walls with graffiti!

Rooms are clean and amenities provided. Also really hot and ice cold water which is amazing. And the complimentary toothpaste is adorable :)

Smelly room and dirty floor. Probably one of the worst hotel room I stayed in. I would never book this hotel again. No working ice machines on all floors. This is not a 4 stars hotels..... I would not recommend this hotel to other tourists at Mystic.

Great location, lots of weddings. Good lounge food. Octagon buffet breakfast was quite good with fresh berries, omelettes etc.

This is the top hotel in this area and rightfully so. The facilities are great and the staff is fantastic.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly but this is decidedly not an upscale hotel. Whatever it once was, now it serves its purpose by holding conferences and events for companies. I m sure they get the occasional wedding.

Room and service were good. There were issues with other guest's noise at 3am.

Nice hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. There is plenty of free parking. We went to the spa twice. It was very relaxing. You could make a spa reservation ahead of time. Plenty of packages and services are available. There are also plenty of different hotel packages and specials. We had a fun time. The staff was not that friendly.

Decided to splurge on room service on my birthday and for a whopping bill of $46 with all the added on extra fees...food arrive lukewarm (eggs, hash browns, toast with jelly jars) with absolutely no utensils. By the time the utensils arrived after two calls to the concierge/front desk. The food was stone cold and congealed!!! Very very disappointed!! Expected more for a four star (supposed) hotel. Even better no oops, so sorry or let's reduce the price of your stone cold food due to our mistake. Next time I think I'll go with Hampton inn

Clean spacious room far enough from City to be quiet, but still close enough to eat somewhere.

It's a nice hotel geared towards group business trips

We only stayed one night, and I'm pretty thankful for that. The hotel is nice, but our room wasn't very clean.

I stayed at the Mystic Marriott for a single night after attending a show at the casino. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very polite and friendly.

Went and had some pizza. The hotel was a bit under construction and modernizing so the noise was a bit of a drag

Very nice hotel with many amenities. Breakfast/brunch available on site. Recently remodeled rooms.

2nd visit. Back again. Stayed in handicap room the bar came off the wall. Husband fell and hit his back and head in wall. Did not even take anything off if Bill. They fixed it fast. But now his back is sore. Ruff with MS.

Updated Marriott in Mystic with clean rooms and friendly staff. Not a five star property per se, but well done.

The hotel is newly renovated. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The staff was awesome. We enjoyed our stay. I believe it was Tina whip was our dining room attendant. Most helpful and over the top enthusiasm!

The people in the room next to us were loud, even after hours, but the hotel told us that since they didn't have any other rooms our size they couldn't move us but offered to go talk to the neighbors

Beautiful hotel with a nice bar and helpful staff. 5 min drive from downtown Mystic. Groton Townhouse is 5 mins away for a 24 hr diner.

Spent a weekend at this hotel in Feb. with kids & grandkids. We hung out Friday night at the lounge for drinks, appetizers, burgers, etc. Amy was our waitress & she was awesome! She convinced us to have dinner at the Steak house Saturday night. Although Amy was off, we had another fabulous waitress! The chef made the most delicious scallop & brussel sprout special! While it's definitely pricey, everyone at the Marriott made it a memorable weekend!

Just went to the Starbucks, good service and friendly staff.

The room, staff, and proximity to the casinos were good. However, when we arrived, the reservation clerk advised me that we would be staying in a room with two double beds. I told her that I made reservations for a king-sized bed. Then, she tried to tell me that there wasn't a preference on my reservations. I reiterated that I made reservations for a king sized bed. Then, she is like we have no more available, sorry. I almost asked for a manager because she was flip. I did not because it was NYE and other people were waiting. Even though it is a nice hotel and everyone else was friendly and accommodating but this one desk clerk, I would never stay here again. I would also discourage friends and family that frequent the area to never stay here. Matter of fact, the clerk didn't even adjust the price of the room down. If it was not NYE and the fact that hotels everywhere were sold out, I would have left and cancelled the reservation.

Beautifully renovated. Great amenities - Red Door Spa, Starbuck's and Octagon Restaurant & Bar.

Attended a couple banquet events here. Did not try hotel or spa.

Rooms have wifi, smart TVs, hardwood floors and modern design .
The food available is starbucks cafe 7am-11 am and 1 breakfast only lounge/restaurant area from 7am to 12 am
The restaurant charges 18$ for adults and 8 for kids ,kids under 5 years old are free .

Every service and amenity was flawless. Highly recommend.

Pretty place, great for conventions or large groups. Not in the lower tier of hotels in terms of pricing. Location is ok, but the setting has limits. Close to many of the local attractions.

I attended a professional event their recently as well as spent the night. I found the facility accommodating to work with as I set up and broke down my booth. IT was very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. The room was nice and clean with great pillows. Good bodywash, shampoo, and soft towels. Check out was easy and parking was plentiful.

Great hotel. Really love the Marriott AC hotels. Guy at the front desk was very helpful about places to go.

This overpriced dump is to be avoided at all costs. We paid $500 for one night and could not even use the pool, which would have been better suited for a motel six. When we dared to complain, our concerns were dismissed. No rest, no relaxation, no view...no fun.

We stayed overnight to work a dance competition in the hotel. The rooms are nice, the staff is helpful, and the space is nice. We have come several years, and will be coming again.
