Beautiful grounds, nice modern rooms. Concierge lounge leaves a bit to be desired, but overall, the only place I stay while in the area.

We stayed at the Mystic Marriott for an overnight family trip. Although Saturday's beach plans were thwarted by rainy weather, we enjoyed the hotel's wonderful pool and hot tub. We took a nice excursion to the family friendly Lyman Allyn Museum. We enjoyed more time in the pool. Our room was stylish and comfortable. The next day, we headed out to Ocean Beach. But, first, we had a great breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Overall, I was very impressed with our experience at the Mystic Marriott.

My husband and I booked 2 nights through Expedia. When we got there they only had 1 note night booked. It was a small problem with Expedia... That would not have been a big deal. But the night time manager person was not very nice and the opposite of helpful. Our experience with him ruined our stay. Other things to note. The young man who runs the front desk over night was great. The spa was amazing. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that's happening in the next room. And lastly the TVs suck. My husband and I will never stay at the Marriott in mystic.... And we will think twice about staying at a Marriott anywhere else.

This hotel was not what i anticipated at all. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't an "experience"either. There's no view to look at in any room and the room lacked so many things one could use. And for the price of the a complimentary breakfast would have been nice gesture to thank their guests. Also, I'm positive I did not get a king size bed eventhough I double checked that at the front desk. I just really expected more for the money and all the pictures online. I did enjoy the Home Show event that was there! Great job on that. Probably won't visit again. Thanks

My favorite New England getaway, hidden luxury, phenomenal service, we stay here at least twice a year and keeps getting better. They recently updated hotel rooms, no carpets (yeah) new furniture and deluxe showers.

Terrible experience the fire alarm went off the whole night. Had to sleep with the tv on. The front desk said it was a maintenance issue and there was nothing they could do.

The 5 stars is for the bar. Not the rooms. Haven't stayed in the rooms.

A decent place for a smaller convention. Not the best place for a networking convention.

Stayed here over the weekend and this hotel is a mixed review. The dinner in Octogon was really VERY good. And the sleeping rooms are quite comfortable. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin and there was an hourly parade of drunk wedding guests in the hallway all night. They could do a better job of policing this rather than me having to call every hour. Have plans to stay again in August and I m going to have to think about whether it is worth that bother.

I m staying at this hotel now. They have horrible service! I requested certain items to be in the room at arrival and they were not here. I m also a Gold Elite member and and eligible for a complimentary upgrade and they offered to upgrade me at an additional cost. Also, the room was not cleaned properly the windows are filthy. Totally disgraceful for a Marriott property. Don t stay here go to the Hilton hotel in Mystic!

Great facilities and spa wonderful service. No refrigerators in rooms unless you ask.

Went to the red door in to get a hair cut and Emily made me attractive for the first time in my life. She dances with the scissors on the dance floor of my scalp and speaks directly to my follicles whole doing so. She amazing!

Nice hotel. Our room was near a group of rooms that were booked together (maybe a wedding group) so it was noisy but it was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is in the moutains in a beautiful locale. It is very comfortable and had great decor. We are at the restaurant and enjoyed the food.

First time visiting this hotel in six years. We attended an event here. There was plenty of parking. The hotel is very nice. The ballroom was full but not cramped. The service was excellent an staff was friendly. The food was great.

We have been staying here every Christmas which coincides with our wedding anniversary (which is today) week and we are back. This time with my sister and family visiting from Manila. They love it so far (4 hours since we checked in today) and my brother in law said he will come back for their own wedding anniversary:) We especially love how clean, comfortable and cozy the rooms are. Would ve loved the chaise that we had in our room back in August, but was glad this room still had the tub that we didn t have then. The renovations are well done and made the rooms so much better than from the past 5 years or so we ve been going here! Did I mention that the food, room service and staff are awesome?

In general, I've stayed at cheaper places in other cities that we're much nicer and provided many more things complementary to the guest for lower price points.

The water glasses in the bathroom were cracked. I assume to encourage you to instead pay $4 for their Fiji Water they provided in the room. On the last night of my stay I found something that looked like old candlewax (it was gray and stiff and had ran between the pillows) behind my pillow that had been there for at least the 5 days I had already stayed. In spite of the hotel advertising that they change linens on the beds every three days.

Overall, I'd recommend against staying here. I was very unhappy with my experience.

Friendly and accommodating staff, very clean and upkept property

Overall the staff was great. Very attentive. Everything was clean and well organized. Very accommodating. No issues during the event I went to.

Nice lobby and attentive staff at reception desk however noise level was high from neighboring guests and screaming kids in the hall. The gym offers something for everyone and was one of the highlights of the hotel for me.

We were here for a family luncheon for a memorial service and the service was excellent. The food for a buffet was well beyond what I expected. Will definitely have to consider this place again for events.

I was in a conference room. The chairs were very comfortable, even reclined some. The accoustics were great and the room was the appropriate size for our gathering. The room was clean and well maintained.

I stayed here over night after a wedding and was so pleased with the room! It was clean and modem with high quality appliances. I'd recommend staying here.

My company is hosting an event at this location. I am in my company's IT department and had to work with hotel staff in preparation. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Facilities were clean and accessible.

Modern room; fridge without microwave. Kinda noisy others. surprisingly limited TV. Large screen but the remote sucked and multiple channels wouldn't come through. Non working lights. Bed was quite nice. Slept very well.

I was there to visit a friend staying at the hotel. It appeared very nice and clean

I'm a Marriott rewards member so I've been in different hotels. Coming from Europe, we use different electrical plug/socket and normally with Marriott's the sockets are universal, at least in Europe. This is our first time here in Mystic and we are staying 2 nights and now we have to take turns in charging our phones and tablet.

Titanium member. This hotel does not live up to name in service. Waited over 15 minutes for someone at front desk to check in. Restaurant food needs help. Fruit flies. Never get welcome points at this location. Always need to call. Never a return call. Takes minimum 2 calls to resolve.

I attended a conference here. The staff went out of their way to make all participants comfortable and help us find our way in the maze of possible speakers.

They expertly turned banquet halls into learning spaces quickly and descretly moving tables, chairs and walls. Yes walls to create the variety of spaces needed

Showed up in the middle of the night, exhausted. They wanted $280 for a room. So I jumped back in my car and went to Red Roof Inn.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was completely incompetent. Be ready for the cleaning staff to start yelling to each other up and down the hallways starting at 7am. Then, upon checkout, we found room service charges on our bill that we never never ordered. Had to wait 15 mins to talk to a manager to get that fixed. The Spa was great! Abby gave me the best massage of my life. She's the only reason this review didn't get 1 star

Clean, updated, beautiful hotel. Limited restaurant menu due to COVID but even the basics are done well.

From the time we checked it was great service and an amazing atmosphere. The on-site restaurants are in line with the rest of the service.

Horrible! They down graded the room we had reserved to a double double. Was a VERY tight fit for two large adults. Please explain how they can not have the room we reserved and paid for. We were told by someone on staff that this happens all the time. When we got to the room it hadn't been cleaned and coffee maker was broken . After it was cleaned we went out. On returning I went to shower only to find the wash cloths were filthy! When we went to breakfast the next morning, the English muffin was covered in mold!! This was literally the worst place we have ever stayed. I would sleep in my car before I go back here to stay here.

Nice hotel. Seems like the remodel isn't quite done yet. Almost seems like all the furniture hasn't arrived yet, plenty of space in the room but not much furniture. No where to sit in the bedroom other than the bed but there is a large empty open space. Only one tiny hook in the bathroom, 4 people in the room equals no where to hang your towels to dry. Per the flyer hanging on the bathroom door to protect the environment, "Please hang your towels" so you can reuse them. They didn't clean our room once in the three days we were there. Called down repeatedly for towels and they always needed more then one call to get fresh towels. Very expensive room rate for what you get. I would never stay here again. Very disappointed!

Beautiful hotel with a really nice restaurant and Starbucks! They host alot of events and for the price and quality it's a great spot for those of you going to the Casinos or Mystic CT to stay that is close by but much cheaper.

Great staff and facilities, close to home & have stayed here numerous times for functions and my nieces dance competitions. Octagon resteraunt is truly amazing.

This place was fantastic! The staff were amazing! The rooms were very nice, but the interior design sucked. Marriott corporate, hire a decorator that has actually stayed in a hotel room!

You have to walk a long way to your rooms. It would be nice if there was another elevator.

The concierge was amazing and went above and beyond, but the lounge was small and there weren't enough food options.

The food at the restaurant in the hotel was really good. The lobby is a great place to meet and they have free flavored water. Plenty of free parking.

For the hospitality alone, I will certainly come back the next time I'm in the area.
