My Tomato Pie Inc Review

Went here for a buffet, all the food was OK but when it came to going home we wanted to take our leftovers and they told us it was against health codes to take any of it home. They just wasted 3 pizzas, a whole pan of ziti, roast beef. We paid for it, it's ours. Not ok.

Messed up order twice. Not even close to what I ordered either.

Good food, good service, and we weren't rushed out. Very pleasant experience.

Good but it took a long time for the food the get to my table about 45

We had a nice attentive server and the food was fresh and very delicious. I got the meatball sandwich which was a good portion size and excellent in taste. The manager came up to us at the end of our meal to see how everything was and you can tell it's because he wants you to have a great experience and meal. He was friendly and it was nice to see someone genuinely care about your experience. We will be back and next time im getting a Buffalo calzone!

Waited forty minutes for a table for 4 adults and 3 small children. Left before we were called because they seated four groups of four people that arrived long after us. Incidentally, while waiting, saw 2 people returned to complain about their pizza and an older couple get called to be seated, only to be walked back to the seating area.

The tomato soup was too cheesy and the overall experience with this meal was fair.

Always good food with prompt service. Gluten free pizza is very good.

We had a small get together In their small banquet room for a first communion party the pizza was fine but the other foods were just awful rubber ball meatballs under cooked and cold raw roast beef and heavily over seasoned potatoes lead the list. However the waitstaff was great! It was a shame that they had to apologize for the poor food!! They need to work on the food!!! otherwise it was a nice clean friendly place.

Happy hour specials at the bar before 6 on beverages and wings. I added a very good pizza. Quite pleased.

Pizza sucked wings were like rubber nice inside the restaurant that's about it

We ordered extra crispy wings for take out, and we got the order as we were hoping for - and getting extra crispy isn't very easy, even in Buffalo, everyone under cooks their wings. Update: take out visit ( live a round the corner) 2/3/17 we got not Crispy wings, not extra crispy. So I think it takes 25 minutes cooking to get them right, but they said they'd be ready in 15-20!?

The food was excellent. Prices are on the higher side. Restaurant is very nice and relaxed, but not a place to go on a one hour lunch break.

If you want the best peanut butter pie in the world, then you must come here.

Made vegan options for us. Everything was incredibly delicious. Service was 10 out of 10.

I'm visiting from Kansas City, Missouri and found this place by searching "pizza by the slice", which I dont think they actually have. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit though. I was very surprised walking in because I thought it would a fast food type restaurant but it's a very nice dine in restaurant. The lighting was a bit too dim for my taste but the food was great. I ordered the meat lovers calzone with peppers and it was definitely good. The calzone was a bit hard for me, but I like my baked goods a little softer. I was surprised at how good their marinara was. It was delicious. Our server was very nice too. It was a great experience.

What a nice place for any occasion. Fully stocked bar very nicely done. Don't show up in landscaping clothes. great place to see a race or game. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Not to mention the food. Not a bad item on menu. And family friendly. So if you're looking for a night out or family dinner this is the place to go. Thanks My Pie

Very disappointed with their Buffalo Bills Pizza Special. My wife ordered on Friday, the Sunday before the Bills game. They told her they didn't have a 5 PM pickup time available but a 5:30 time available. I arrived at 5:30 with a line out of the door (10 people deep). I had no problem waiting my turn but they obviously took way too many orders to accommodate the requests. In addition to the long line there were easily 10 cars waiting for curbside pickup, and when I got inside another 15-20 customers waiting for their pizzas to come out. I felt really bad for the kid they had up front checking out customers as everyone was blasting him. He keep telling every customers it would be 15 minutes more... there was no way . They started to give out free glasses to waiting customer but I knew there was no way I was getting a pizza in 15 minutes.

Watching the game and my wife received a text message at 7:00 that our pizza was ready...

The food was amazing, The service was great and is priced fairly. I would recommend everyone to go here!

We came here for a private brunch buffet style. The pizza was interesting. They all had scrambled egg on them. I though the pizza was good but undercooked. The fresh fruit contained a large variety and was super sweet and fresh. The eggs had scrambled cheese had cheese in them. They were so good. They also had bacon, sausage and home fries. The home fries contained a lot of black pepper. They were ok. Service for refills were slow but there was a new person. The staff were all very friendly.

The new place is very clean and modern.

Nice place needs more servers. That are more attentive.

Great for a quick lunch on a Teacher In Service Day!

Had fish fry....big portions. Service was great until we were done eating. The waitress never took any of our dirty plates away...evem though she came back twice while we sat and talked.

Had a personal pizza ordered bacon which was not on the pizza. But was delicious. Went there for happy hour and drinks were still pretty pricey. Overall a nice experience regardless. I'm sure weekends are more exciting, still nice to support a local business.

Love their Tomato basil soup! Also all waiters and waitress i encountered so far were great:)

Oh my the vegan pizza I ordered was absolutely horrible I paid 27 dollars for it and it went in the garbage we could not stomach the smell or the taste so disappointing!

Had a tasty dinner with a friend, food here is always good and they have a variety of types. I favor Italian, and my calzone with spinach was huge and delicious. My friend had a large salad with strawberries which she enjoyed thoroughly. The restaurant was full, but we waited less than 5 minutes. I'll bring my husband and his wheelchair next time, because it has such easy access and plenty of space to move around the tables.

Food was really good. Service was great. Staff wass friendly and food sis not take long to be served. Bathrooms and restaurant were clean.

The Pie has always been my favorite restaurant to go to in WNY. Best calzones ever!!! Danielle is the best waitress and Michelle is the best cook!!

Haven't been here in over 12 years. Last visited them regularly at the old Northtown Plaza. Their creamy tomato basil soup was just as I remembered. Fantastic! Had a calzone which was also really good. It is made with mozzarella (no ricotta) and the sauce is on the side. Be aware that sauce is tasty, but is on the spicier side. All in all, great experience, just had to wait longer than I should have for the check. I'll definitely go back though!

We always have great food and great wait staff at My Tomato Pie. My personal favorite is the Turkey bacon wrap with cranberry mayo. Yum! Danielle is our fav server!

Service was ok no refill on my ice tea. Food was not great had a Cobb Salad and others had a turkey wrap.

I would have to say I was more than pleased and shocked by this place. I m giving it a 5 because it doesn t deserve an 8/10 with a 4. Cooked exactly to my liking with the great smell and taste I m really happy. They had my pizza done and waiting for pickup in 15min!! That was amazing!! Next time I will go eat inside due to not expecting how nice and big it is in there. Nice size bar, huge dining and separate banquet area as well. Give it a try!!

We have been coming to My Tomato Pie for the last 7 years, service is always good. We'll be back again!

We hosted my best friend's bridal shower here last Sunday, and it went great. When deciding on a menu, were able to pick appetizers that we knew our friend liked. It was recommended by staff that for pizzas, we choose crowd-pleasers along with some unique pies, and they all went over well. Our server was very nice, and efficient- there was 50 of us and only one of her, but she kept everyone happy, and the party ran smoothly. It was a fun day!

So far I've only visited once, but I can definitely say that this is a case of "don't judge a book by its cover". The outside looks like a typical pizza shack, but the inside is a classy restaurant with a banquet hall. The prices are definitely in line with being a fancy place, but they have more different kinds and flavors of vodka than I knew existed.

i ordered a veggie pita...it was amazing! ..
i understand friends of mine came in with a group of 16 and they brought in a homemade cake..manager said they could do it this time but never again...was rather rude to them...sadly they lost a lot of customers...and they were regulars. They took their future parties else where.

We loved my Tomato Pie when it was in the Northtown Plaza, but haven't been since they moved.

We were a party of five. We decided to go for the $20.17 deal. My husband, my sister-in-law and myself decided on the fish fry which was very good, but my mother-in-law and brother-in-law chose the chicken parmigiana. Unfortunately, they said it was very bland.

My husband and I will probably go again, but am unsure about my in-laws.

Excellent. Since moving to the north towns MTP has become our go to for delicious pizza.

Very disappointed. Seems like every time my family goes to My Tomato Pie, they are out of what we want to order. I tried to order stuffed peppers a few weeks ago, and was told, they were out of them. My daughter ate there last week and was told they didn't have her menu choice. This afternoon, I met a friend for dinner at 4. I had my heart set on the chopped Antoinette Salad. I was told they ran out of the ingredients for it. I then ordered a small pizza which I planned on sharing with my husband when I got home. I asked if I could have a small side Cesaer salad as I wanted some veggies. I was told by the server that I have to order the full Cesaer Salad for $7.59. I then asked if he would ask the manager. I was brought a small plate of romaine lettuce with grated parm, dressing on the side and a roll. No mixed salad, no croutons. I was charged $4.79. Pizza was good. Food is good here but management needs to have the ingredients on hand for all menu items. The server indicated that because the menu was so large, it is hard to have all ingredients. In that case, shorten the menu but have the ingredients to make items. It is very disappointing to go someplace for a specific food only to be told it is not available.

Great Burgers, fish fry was okay, staff was pleasant and friendly.

It was our 1st time at #mytomatopie for a friends daughter's birthday party and it was great ! Food was good and fresh , the waiters were also very friendly and helpful ! Thanks for such great service and will definitely be back

Great food. Had a party of 15 and only 1 waitress. She was great, we never waited for anything. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend My Tomato Pie.

Was not impressed so many things went wrong during this vist, and the employees like to call you a liar and bully you on social media!!!! after spending $170.00 for a table of 6 back in mid February. i asked no onions on a buffalo chicken finger pizza and their was onions.... We asked for pizza bread and they made that wrong but they did fix that. Their was other issues with the rest of the dinner party.
also they wanted a check number but who keeps that. I don't know anyone who does.
I would of gave them a second chance if their employees or friends who ever they were didn't call me a liar and have such bad manners and that is not how you treat your customers. My husband wanted to try this place out He was not impressed. We will stick to our favorite Italian places.

Usually come in every Friday on lunch, sit right at the bar, in and out under in hour, great service and food. Would recommend

This is the first time I have been to the new location since they moved from Northtown Plaza. What took me so long?

I like what they did with the interior and seating was nice for two people. The service was friendly and helpful. I am a little saddened by not carrying Pibb Extra, but that is okay. The Chicken Focaccia sandwich and pasta salad was amazing, although that hamburger being served at the other table looked impressive. No regrets on my selection. That chicken section was big as well, and too bad I cannot post the photo of the meal. Serving size for my selection is pleasant because I was not overstuffed and it was more than enough.

I have never been disappointed with My Tomato Pie and look forward to returning for something different. Keep up the good work.
