The one and only international airport in trivandrum city

Parking and outside peoples movement controlling security staffs were rude and bad behaviour,that they are showing discrimination towards rich and local peoples.......

New terminals are very good. Food is very costly here.. and should expand to bigger airport and get more flights

Airports are often graded based on their facilities and functionality.
Not much crowd in Domestic Terminal, security check has been managed properly, better than any other Airports. Maintained well and clean outside also, can see lots of place left for Car parking.

Good Service. Easy to reach. Hygienic. Suggested one.

This is a very good (International Terminal) Airport to go to. The staff is friendly, the officers and security guards and militants are doing their job. And you have to arrive at your flight 3 hours prior to departure. You can use a baggage cart at no cost or you can get a city porter for 500 rupees like my mom and I did. We gave our tickets and we got our seat numbers and we also got a business class lounge as well. In customs there is a separate line for men and women and they scan your carry-on baggage and all of your personal items like wallets, watches, handkerchiefs, etc., and you may or may not need to remove your shoes. In our case, we did not have to remove our shoes because we had sandles. And then you go through a walk through metal detector. And then you finally go through a body scanner using a metal wand. And after that we were done. After my mom and I had finished customs, we went to the Restaurant Lounge and Bar, because we were in business class. The food was pretty good, the juice, soda and coffee was very good, and it gave us enough time also to read and sleep and talk to others for a little while. And we looked around all of the places including a restaurant, an umbrella store, a cafe, and finally a bookstore in which I purchased a book with short stories inside worth 150 rupees. And even though we arrived at the gate on time, the airplane never showed up. And when your seat number is called you have to provide the boarding pass and your passport. And you are all set to go to your destination. So overall, this is by far the best airport in Kerala, India.

It's renowned international Airport in the South India, very clean and neat appearance. Service is very good.

The airport is very good and nicely maintained. There is a difficulty in getting App taxi at airport once you come out. There are no sign marks. Local taxi drivers are unfriendly.

Very neat, clean and silent airport. Not much crowded. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There is not much options for money exchange. Inside snack bars in departure launch are bit expensive an unreasonable price. Airport taxi service is also remarkable. Overall good.

Only issue is that domestic terminal is too far from the mainroad.. We may even get confused.. Facilities are good.. Can definitely improve by taking examples from CST Mumbai.. Once there was an additional checking on domestic arrival which was a strange thing..

Relatively new terminal 2 is much better and is close to city. All intl flights are from here. Terminal 1 is old and is used by many domestic carriera.

Trivandrum International Airport is an international airport which primarily serves the city of Thiruvananthapuram and adjacent towns. It is the first airport in the state of Kerala, India.

Has to be the worst airport anywhere. Not even a water vending kiosk until you cross the security check. The kiosk you find eventually has no printed food labels or prices, and the rates are exorbitant. The airport is filled with mosquitoes, and the AC is set to too hot or too cold. None of the saving graces of a real airport. Was too scared to use the restroom after seeing the state of the airport. This place should be closed down considering how it's nearly a sham airport.

Have ample parking place when compared with domestic airport. Good and clean atmosphere. Only thing I was not satisfied with was Airport premises don't have any restaurants nor do they have any ATM (except for the one SBI ATM at the airport entrance).

Very good and nice airpprt...domestic airport is some 2 to 3 km from here...duty free shops are now closed for maintanence..

Nice airport. Being an international airport it has its own beauty. Also please don't rely on the taxi drivers at the airport. They are too crooked and they will basically hire three times the original rate. There is KSRTC service rendered and it is cool to get better taxis at the Thampanoor Stand. Cool. its the gods own country this will be a memorable experience for the tourists.

It's a good infrastructure with proper parking and lawns - the international terminal.

The domestic terminal is still stuck in the 1980 s. Great nostalgia trip if you miss the old government airports and service .

The dipendable international airport almost over four districts in kerala and four districts in thamil nadu.

A modern airports with all facilities required by the traveller, but need to improve on WiFi

T1, Neat and clean, WiFi is slow, not much option to eat or do.

Very badly constructed. Poor workmanship for an International airport; in the Capital of Kerala. The Contractor who performed these works and the Consultant who approved it, should be blacklisted and publicly shamed for embarrassing our state.

Very good airport offering nice facilities for domestic and international passengers. Needs lot of infrastructure improvement, but the local union workers will not allow any sort of development. Support privatisation of TRV.

Checkin to security clearance took unusually long time but some VIPs skipped queues at every step with their aides . Ended up in the same flight though . Covid times!

It's a small to mid size airport. Recently renovated. Nothing much to boast about. Nit that many duty free stores. They will charge you for parking.

Clean surrounding and nice decorations for Christmas and new year.. Spacious parking area... But canteen food at parking area not good.

Kerala State first airport .this airport have the 2nd largest IATA code(TRV) display after los Angeles airport in the world this airport has 2 terminals(t1 is domestic and t2 is international) .it is a Beautiful airport compared to other airport but it lacks proper facilities.aiport design,& infra structure of the airport is outdated .but airport authority of India decided to build the phase 2 of airport as soon to increase more checkin counters and to add more aero bridges.

Quite a big and nice airport. Outside architecture is wonderful.

Far better than the old airport....Good service and amenities

1. Not many entrances. Only single entry. You have to plan 3-4hours before reach there as long long ques.

2. CISF staff is not cooperating

3. Place is not tourist friendly.

Not recommended for local as well as foreign tourist.

if you have been to international airport terminals around the country this is decidedly one of the worst .
My main grouse was the departure lounge
There is not a single decent shop.
The only restaurant inside (at the far end on the right side ) charges international rates .... Coffee or snacks costs more than in large international airports while providing a filthy ambience and equally unprofessional staff

A good airport. Trivandrum Airport is Rough and tough, all weather proof, Nicely designed, spacious, neat and a clean Airport ,with fresh feeling and it has all the basic features of an airport of International standard which is required. Strict security round the clock. Easy accessibility to cab, transportation, meals and restrooms. Airport is very close to the main city and travelling is not at all an inconvenience. Many people understand Hindi which is a plus point for a North Indian travelling there. Even during peak hours the airport looks very peaceful and calm. Nice sitting and waiting area with souvenirs shop and eateries. Just before landing at the airport runway one gets a beautiful view from top of green coconut belt and lovely sea beaches. Let us all build back together The Kerala we love. Kerala The God's abode on the Earth and truly The God's own country.

Small airport. Very clean, well maintained washrooms. Friendly staff. Only gripe is that there are very limited food options within or near the airport.

Not a modern airport look alike but ya it's the lonely airport well maintained in Kerala..

Domestic Terminal is very old. Approach Road is not good and not convenient. It will be better if it is given entry from International Terminal or both may be combined.

I got a very bad experience at this airport on march first in baggage clearance session. The staff of Qatar airways behaved very rude and bad. They weighed my handbag along with handcarry and asked me to remove my study materials. The service was really bad. The worst international airport.

well maintained airport.....international and domestic are seperated. It is on the way to Chaakka to shangumugham....good security and parking facilities......around 10 km from thampanoor....easy approached from kollam ans near by districts....even people from nagarcoil could make use of it.crowdless as compared to nedumbassery ans karipur airport.Easily available ticket as compared to kochin.
