A small airport but very well maintained and very good service. Clean and beautiful.
Located inside the city.

It s a clear example of government negligence,it should be one of the best airports in India ,currently it s in very bad shape and bad service experience,hope Adani will change the experience

4 drivers came to attack me today morning. 3 tamilnadu pravasi employees who trying to board in a pvt auto-rickshaw, the prepaid drivers ordered them to use prepaid taxi and scolded them. I questioned this.pvt vehicles are not allowed here? Any authority existing to control these criminals? A name board should be displayed on every drivers operating taxis in this airport.

It was quite good about the structure and atmosphere

Been to this place few times & liked it. Could make the airport better by integrating the domestic terminal also. Also, a high class lounge facility could be added for a better customer service.

one of the oldest International airports in India. The new Terminal 3 is awesome and is according to International standards. There are already lot of International flights. Hope they start lot more Domestic flights just like in Kochi

Kerala's capital city's own neglected Airport. Situated right at the heart of the city with an ease of access to everything unlike other cities. However, this airport has been on the decline for the past decade or so. Too much political and trade union interference is the main cause of decline for this airport. Many International airline companies has left from here thanks to the wonderful work from our ever so active Member of parliament. Now that it has been privatised and Mr
Gautam Adani's team has taken over this airport with an aim of promoting his upcoming Vizhinjam port. Quite sure the ruling party's interference will cause more turbulence to Mr. Adani and I hope the decision to privatise this airport brings more investment and tourism opportunities in our city. *Yawns*

Good terminal.
CISF staff should speak Malayalam, they are a trouble to most common people traveling from Kerala and TN.
Needs more duty free and eateries inside.
Bay area should be expanded to accommodate more flights.

One of my favourite airports...Cleanliness of surrounding is one of the main feature and has quite good interior...

Time to make a connectivity between Terminal 1 <> Terminal 2, either underpass walk through or interbus transfer. Make prepaid taxi, auto booking outside terminals during flight operation. Subside the price of food at both terminals. Remove 100 visitor launch from the terminal. Car Parking fee is high, 100 if parked above 15 minutes. Looting Trivandrum airport.

One of the good airports in Kerala.Please don't compare this airport with other international airports like Delhi and Chennai

One thing, the articles sold say banana chips, savouries never have a manufacturing date, expiry, nutritional values, such articles should not be sold!!!! The concerned authorities can check on this, I am little annoyed with this and sellers are carefree, authorities to make a note and amend such moves while the travellers would want to enjoy such local savoury with out hesitation and benefit of doubt. Asking for good cooperation.

Food inspection authorities have a CHECK!!!!!!!

The old international airport is now the domestic airport. The new one is the best of its kind airport. I have been inside the new only a lot of times to go abroad. The domestic I have gone more than the new one. I have been in this airport a number of times in numerous occasions.

Efficient, organized, and clean, the renovated international airport is very comfortable with little bureaucracy holding you up. Staff are courteous and work to make your transit smooth. The only downside is that domestic flight services aren't integrated yet.

One of the top class airport in india with all facilities including a lot of parking place.

Always best to bring personal vehicles to pick up from airport, airport taxi charges are high and bus availability is not reliable.

Absolutely deserted place. No duty-free, no lounges, none of the departure shops are open. If at all you opt to go, just be there in nick of time. Am writing this in comparison to other international airports in south India. Worst part is no one even attends any calls for enquiry.

Had a horrible experience with one of the army women at the baggage scanning...she was acting so cheap...people might not be knowing if the laptop has to be removed from bag and scanned separately , and she was taunting to every1 like how many times she should tell, is she speaking in urudu, its not a place jaha apna ghar ka ghussa nikaalta....and i did not create any scene since i am not cheap like her...cmon grow up woman

Easy for departure.. when arriving time baggage are dispatched after long time...

The airport is very well organized. But in return, there is only one shortage of duty free shops. The airport is located close to the sea and the view at the airport is amazing when it is evening.

Much better than the previous airport. More modern facilities and you can pre print your boarding pass now (might be for specific airlines though) I travelled on Qatar Airways. Staff are friendly and helpful, and airport is clean and air conditioned.
Inside there are plenty of comfortable seats and facilities like baby feeding room. Duty free is ok, quite a few small shops but no large duty free like the bigger airports.. All in all a pleasant experience.

It is a tier 2 city airport.
1. Greener airport
2. Small airport so not much time to reach aircraft.
3. International airport also. So customs and immigration is really easy as it is small airport.
4. The airport maintained well.
5. Washrooms are clean.
6. Connectivity is almost there to major cities.

There are two terminals in this Airport, so be careful about the terminals since they are far away.

Well, this airport is one of the oldest airports in the country and also the third international airport in the country. There are two terminals but both are not connected to each other and are on opposite ends. T1 is relatively old and it's high time for a renovation. T2 is pretty good and caters to selected domestic and complete international traffic.
Very high passenger convenience fee for passengers travelling out of this airport, it is nearly 597(domestic) and standards are no where near DEL, BOM or BLR whose convenience fee is less than 1/4th of this.

This airport mostly handles narrow body aircraft. Wide body movement is really less, occasionally just a SriLankan a333 and a daily Emirates 77W are visitors. Other carriers seldom operate wide body aircrafts to this airport. Again, this airports international destinations are mostly to the Middle East. As of now, no scope of European Expansion (for non stop flights). There are 3 other flights to South East Asia tho (Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore).

Hope this airport gets privatised soon, then only it will develop and become a better hub like BLR or atleast like MAA or CCU.

Worst Airport In Kerala, Needs to Improve A Lot and learn from Cochin Airport.
Immigration, not much counters, very long queues, customs also the same case.
The first bag and last bag is very poor

The renovated airport is very good. The airport staff are courteous. The decor and facilities also very good. There is enough scope for further improvement in the infrastructure compared to Mumbai and like.
However, the taxi service available is charging exorbitantly high rates. One should be careful about the taxi fare before printing the ticket for taxi, as it may sometimes beyond the imagination. This fact may discourage the tourist landing at this airport.

I believe that Cochin International Airport is much better and beautiful than Trivandrum International Airport. It has got two terminals. Compared to other airports of this category, departure area is small. There are a few international as well as domestic flights. Airport is neat and clean. Washrooms are perfectly clean. Only few shops in departure area. Parking for first 20 minutes is free.

Good place and wide parking area ,i have a good opinion about this airport the terminals are good build,many plane are also coming and going to this airport.This Airport also have many place that we can see it in a good full angle view.We can see the sea from some parts of this airport...
