Trivandrum Airport is Rough and tough, all weather proof, Nicely designed, spacious, neat and a clean Airport ,with fresh feeling and it has all the basic features of an airport of International standard which is required. Strict security round the clock. Easy accessibility to cab, transportation, meals and restrooms. Airport is very close to the main city and travelling is not at all an inconvenience. Many people understand Hindi which is a plus point for a North Indian travelling there. Even during peak hours the airport looks very peaceful and calm. Nice sitting and waiting area with souvenirs shop and eateries. Just before landing at the airport runway one gets a beautiful view from top of green coconut belt and lovely sea beaches.
