One of the best airports in south india it is improving day by day and making good profit.

The airport terminals & surroundings are good, clean & spacious , but the restaurants & coffee shops are limited.

This is an International Airport which primarily serve the cities of Trivandrum, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari and Kollam. It is the first airport in the state of Kerala, India. It was the fifth international airport of India declared by then Prime Minister of India, V. P. Singh in 1991.The airport is a primary base for Air India Express operations and is a focus city for Air India, Jet Airways, SpiceJet and IndiGo, etc.

This airport terminal is approximately 3.7 km (2.3 mi) due west from the city centre,16 km (9.9 mi) from Kovalam beach, 13 km (8.1 mi) from Technopark Thiruvananthapuram and 21 km (13 mi) from the under construction Vizhinjam International Seaport spread over an area of 700 acres (280 ha). There are flights to Middle eastern and South eastern countries from here.

The waiting area has plenty of place to relax and have nice cageterias

No proper pest control on premises. Rats every where in parking area.

The runway currently has some very nasty bad patches, take-offs and landings are very scary now....
The new building gives a very airy feel inside until we are the waiting area, the built quality of the new terminal is poor.
The staffs that i have come across were very friendly including the officials.

Having come during the COVID period, the staff and arrangements at the Airport were excellent and efficient. I could go through the COVID registration and RT-PCR routine in just fifteen minutes. Kudos to the Airport officials and the health care department staff.

One of the biggest airports of the Kerala and infact one of the initial airports developed in the Kerala. This was the third airport inside Kerala after Calicut and Kochi international airport. It is operated by AAI presently and privatisation of this airport is under progress. They have three gates to enter inside the airport and one gate each for arrival passengers of international and domestic passengers. International bairport is also used for domestic flights after midnight and until morning as the domestic terminal is not operational at night hours.

This is the only airport which is preferable for use by people living around Trivandrum including nagercoil and Kanyakumari. All tourists wishing to visit Kanyakumari have to use this airport.

I seen more than 20 images of airport but no any security person has been seen.Wether the Airport is safe without security.Another there is only one ATM inside the building and standards of cleaness is very poor. You can see AAI staff involving in union activity rather than passenger facilitation.

Am a regular traveller through Trivandrum international airport. Whether that parking fee fixed by AAI is still in force here ??? They r collecting as their will?
How many knows that parking fee for car is fixed as Rs.85 and these thieves r collecting Rs.100? (Just check ur receipt, it WILL be written as SUV, not a car)
This robbery is going on for a long time.

Above average facilities with almost all the operators having operations from major cities of the world....Good infrastructure facilities not fully utilized by average staff.good parking facilities.takes more time for immigration compared to Cochin international airport...but a good one .almost all operators have flights which includes Boeing flights have operations mainly to middle East...

Restaurants are very poor ambiance and prices are higher than star hotels. 500ml drinking water 60/- INR

The CISF posted at the airport is terrible. They need to learn how to treat customers with respect. Being someone from Trivandrum, I'm ashamed at how they handle their customers.

Average airport. But it is better than Kochi Airport. The Airport is little small and can't accommodate lots of people. The stores inside the airport are tourist traps. The runway is not in a good condition. The prepaid taxi charges are high and drivers want extra.

Less facility in arrivals . Waited 1 hr for luggage because there is no baggage conveyor free.

I would prefer TRVM Airport over other two airports as it is more easy and convenient for traveling.

this place is very much better den the domestic airport.... very few things to do around and pass your time... bt is well-maintained and not at all crowded like other cities...

Trivandrum Domestic is. T1 and international is T2.
Most of the time the boarding pass kiosk machine doesn't work. However e boarding passes are allowed.

It's my Airport. Flew my first Air Experience at this very airport. Did gliding here in the NCC days, flew a para glider at this place, flew Microlite, did para sailing. Those were the days this airport had a Traffic light for crossing the runway! Beautiful Trivandrum!

One of the best airport in South India, got many awards for the great service and hospitality, one of the oldest and ancient airports in India with 2 terminal for handling International passengers and domestic passenger with multiple entry and exit gates.also it is very closed to the sea shore, so that during take of and landing you can see a great view of the sea and other landscap.

Cons : There is no access for Local Bus service from the airport, and parking charges are bit higher.

Very nice airport.. If you have time ..must visit jatayu park...take bus from airport...

Airport is close to city which is a BIG+. However there s only one restaurant in Departure with limited seats, 5 star prices and 3 star quality food!
The outlets/shops are poorly designed and not up to an international airport standards.

Very good airport and nice staff and services provided there, Parking area is very big and systematically vehicles are parked there. For morning walk place is very good lot of walking area. In a inside of main building cleanness and neatness is very good. Supportive staff if someone start their first journey.

Though Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala, the number of flights from here to other places in India are few and far between. There are very few direct flights.

Very good airport in terms of efficiency. Compassionate staff. And kept very clean. Washrooms are also well maintained.

Last night I forgot my duty-free bags in the plane upon arrival in TRV. The staff went out of their way to get it back to me. I am very pleased and apologize for the inconveniences caused by that.

Very clean, classy, secure place. Parking lot is so spacious. For a stipulated time period the parking is free here. After that certain time they charge you for parking. Waiting launge is also well maintained. The snack store in this airport is also moderately expensive. So one can have coffees, teas, samosas here, without looting much money.
