Being at the heart of the city, Trivandrum international airport is so well planned that it'll take you around half an hour to navigate from the airport to any part of the city. The airport has all the required facilities for a traveler. There's frequent bus service towards the city center from the airport.

Average airport. . Compartively clean airport free wi-fi facility. Dont have much option for refreshment. . Lots of seating capacity. Decent parking facility. Standard business lounge .
One of the best baby care room is available for passenger with small kids... I have visited so many airports but never saw such facility before. Very helpful staff as well
Relatively small airport as per the standards of an international airports. Flights for dubai sharjahan and other gulf contries are regularly fly. Domestic airport is about 15-30 min far from this.
Trivandrum International Airport is an international airport which primarily serve the cities of Trivandrum, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari and Kollam. It is the first airport in the state of Kerala, India.
I guess the main factor to consider when assessing TVM aiport is 'perspective'. Most visitors to the airport are NRI returning home. Hence, issues like good shopping and dining dont really matter to most. As an NRI, what I really want is 'fast' processing whether it is arrival or departure. This has historically been the major lament about Indian aiports. In this regard, TVM aiport gets top marks. It is easy to drive into and there is good parking space. Ticketing, security checks and immigration are fairly quick and the aiport staff do not hassle you as long as you have your valid documents ready (it is better to have a printed ticket with you). It is not a 'fancy' airport (although the buildings are modern and clean), but I am very proud of it
International airport is poorly maintained. They do not have 24x7 cleaning staffs. Note, most of the international carriers operate between 3-6 AM and at that time they do not have enough immigration officers, especially for crew clearance.. One should be prepared to wait for at least 30-45 minutes in the queue.
This airport provides the international air facility for not only Trivandrum but also for Nagercoil also to Tirunelveli. People from all these places use this for the International air services. The airport is well maintained and they keep on expanding well and in useful ways. Good management but nowadays they are charging more for parking yet first 15 minutes is free for entry
One of the reason why it firms come to Technopark is the accessibility to airport, if the traffic is less you can reach the airport in less than 30 minutes. Airport is well maintained n clean
The signs for no parking is not clearly shown at the airport. The traffic men present there will then silently sneak to your vehicle when its deserted and will seize it until and unless you pay a huge ransom for your vehicle. They are absolutely opportunist and would not even give a warning to park or not.Absolutely buisness minded by the airport manager and the officers involved.
Pretty decent airport but the airport security always seem to have some issues. Things that pass customs at Chennai Airport are scrutinized here. Extremely annoying when traveling with young kids and they ask you to pull out every little metal object from the luggage.
All best standards followed for a basic International Airport. My suggestion is to have a facelift with more commercial brands to be made available outside the Airport.
