At the time of flood our flight which was booked from Cochin airport was diverted to Trivandrum airport The Tvm airport is weather proof and was working fine even at the worst times of natural calamities.The airport staffs are multitasking and resourceful persons.The place is also well maintained.One drawback of this airport is that it's small compared to Cochin airport and often leads to congestion and crowding.

One of the best international airport in India. Neat and clean airport.almost everything is here a lot of parking space . The building infrastructure is awesome. Seperate pick up and drop points so there is not too much rush . Very beautiful view in night . Easy access,only 5 or 6 kilometres from Trivandrum city. Situated near the highway. We will get bus from chakkai junction which is almost 500 m from airport. Uber and ola like online taxis are also available

Airport is great and feels much better to go abroad

Trivandrum International Airport is an international airport which serves the cities of Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. It is the first airport in the state of Kerala, India. It was the fifth international airport of India declared by then Prime Minister of India, V. P. Singh in 1991.

The Terminal 1 located at Shangumughom near the beach, caters purely domestic traffic and the Terminal 2 at Chackai caters international flights and some of the domestic flights too.

Air India operates all flights to/from Chackai terminal, domestic and international. This one is known as Terminal 2 and the purely domestic terminal is Terminal 1.

Basically there is only 1 Airport, but it is operated by both side as Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

The distance between 2 would be approximately 4 kilo meters.

If you're from Thambanoor KSRTC bus stand, then there is a prepaid taxi center just at the entry. They will book an auto for you to any of these terminals and charges as of January 2020 for Terminal 1 and 2 is 120 rupees (Rs.) and 100 rupees (Rs.) respectively.

Dont hire taxi outside the bus stand as they would charge you 150 or more and that is a loot. Alternatively you can hire Uber or OLA, but the charges would be same.

I'm from Punalur, Kollam district. So i usually get down to Kottarakka KSRTC bus stand, and from there you get to Trivandrum bus, mostly all are to Thambanoor KSRTC bus stand. From there I prefer auto rather than bus, as it'd need bit walking; none of the public transports are through to any of the terminals

Sweet to see from outside but it's normal inside, Cochin international airport much better. Departures upbeat the arrivals. something needed to be improved.averagely good service.

Super Airport even though small connecting Indian cities, Middle East destination and Asian regions

The Parking people charge 100 instead of 85 for cars. As most people are ignorant of parking charge amount they take advantage of this. 100 is for SUV and Tempos.

Not that customer friendly. Too much time for checkin.

I arrived and departed from Domestic. There is no clear information which terminal the flight will land. It s confusing. Good and clean Airport but boring.

International arrival is Ok . No clear information on which Belt the baggages will be coming. The display about flight is too small, rather the marketing company Srishti has bombarded their add all over the place. Very poor Airport management. There are staffs to tidy up the washroom but no Toilet paper in any toilet. Departure, the Airport looks fancy from outside but poor service and staffs. Slow and lazy. Overall, these guys need to improve a lot.

Try Uber than using the taxi/auto available at the airport as these people will charge you extra.

The place is good. International terminal is Maintained well. From here we can reach maximum destination.

Securities are helpful and only problem they have language issue.it mean they can have less knowledge of Hindi.u can find resturant and coffee shop inside and shopping stores available here..

Few shops and have 2 lounges. Baby care room is there. Airport terminal is small with all facilities. Easy access to Airport within city limit.

Trivandrum international airport is working with good infrastructure and services. The parking and entrance are well defined. The departure and arrival entries are placed at the opposite ends. It would reduce the confusion of a lay Man.

It's a good place to visit. Only for international travelling. We can see aeroplanes arriving and departing.

Airport without rush. Food outlets are few and few gift apparel shops. Suffient parking. Entering and exiting is easy and no traffic jams inside.

The security check here is the most disorganised I have ever seen. There's nothing good to eat in the lounge. The espresso machine is broken.

Good Services... We hope, a new duty free shop will come soon.

Thiruvanathpuram airport is a good small airport, but the biggest problem is that if you dont have an idea of its terminals then its going to be a pain for you if by mistake you reach terminal 1 and you have your flight from teminal 2. In this case you might have to take a ride of another 7-8kms as there are no proper direction signs available. I had this horror just a week back when i was travelling from TVM to Delhi and my flight was from terminal 2 and i reached terminal 1. So beware of this and keep the GPS on while you check you ticket first. Other wise its a decent clean airport with not much of a fuss about anything.

Nicely built airport with International and domestic terminals separated. The building is asthetically built-in keeping in mind the requirements of travellers. On can feel comfortable here even if he has to stay for long hours. You can have good quality food, beverages and hard drinks as part of dine in. Airport is beautifully decorated from inside gives the feel of international level. It's spacious as far as foot falls are concern. You can buy local hand craft items as well as duty-free liquor from this airport apart from other items. It's neet and clean airport with present time amenities of an airport. An average airport with its facilities. Compared to CIAL it s horrible. You must keep Indian standard adapter if you wanna charge your mobile and laptop.

This swanky airport surprised me with the modern facilities and cleanliness which are so atypical of most government run airports. Great job done, Airports Authority of India!
