Excellent event, unfortunately cloudy weather did not cooperate.

One of the best museums in Rio de Janeiro, it's worth taking the whole family.

Wonderful, do not fail to visit and count as many people as possible, visitation is free and fun and learning is guaranteed. Always very clean, people to lead you and serve you in the best way possible !!! I told everyone!

Attention to school excursion excursion has parking place however and a hard to reach bus because of the narrow streets and a lot of badly parked strollers that give access to the museum

Astronomy Museum with temporary exhibitions and some fixed ones. Ideal for taking children and school groups. The exhibitions are always organized in a didactic and often playful way.

Very nice museum and park. A true oasis in a forgotten neighborhood near the center of Rio. Museum with friendly exhibits on astronomy and a suspended park with unexpected views of the North Zone and the City Center.

You could tell that MAST would not be working on Ash Wednesday. On the website says it is open, but arriving here, people find the Museum closed.

The museum is a great opportunity to understand how astronomy is related to time keeping thru history and the basic concepts of the seasons and its astronomical relation.
There one can witness the instruments and the fields of research used in the early Brazilian research efforts.

Ideal for taking pre teenagers, teenagers and adults. More focused on sky-watching sciences. After a short line of 30 minutes, I was able to observe the moon using an old telescope. I loved the program.

Good. But it lacked follow-up by Museum professionals. It was very loose and without script.

I just don't give 5 stars because I missed guides; I saw that the smaller balls were missing in the space-time convergence experiment; garden totems are in need of maintenance, etc.

I always feel very happy when I go to Mast whenever there is something new happening and the information is so stimulating that I do not feel like leaving.

Great museum, especially for taking children. All the observation machinery that has already been used. A museum of unique experiences. There is a great auditorium in the annex building, where several very nice lectures take place. In addition, it has its graduate program that has very good teachers. I just don't recommend leaving there too late, as the region is dangerous with the risk of assault.

Science Museum of great historical value. It holds one of the only examples of observatory architecture in Latin America.

Very quiet place, very beautiful and with much knowledge to add. The staff is always very friendly and out of curiosity. My tip is to go on Wednesdays or Saturdays because you have a view of the sky.

Sensational visit to the Museum of astroninia and related sciences. Place with a lot of history, machinery, instruments, videos, etc. Worth knowing! There are several schedules on the site, star and planet observations, worth checking out. The entrance is free, so no excuses and the location is great (next to the northeastern traditions fair). I hope that with the cuts of this government do not close this beautiful space.
