Haven of peace to enjoy the garden or temporary exhibitions. This museum and this place are simply beautiful!
Nice museum. Unfortunately little news. The animations for the anniversary of the renovation very average.
The Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon, located in the same square as the City Hall, is an opportunity for lovers of painting, sculpture, ... To visit this city.
Yesterday we went to see a 19th century painters room, and a temporary exhibition of Mexican painting, and apart from a painting we enjoyed, we were surprised by the number of people who visited the museum's beautiful rooms mid-morning. Something will have the place for such an audience !!
For the rest, the environment in which it is, in the old part of the city, the most noble and worthy of walking and enjoying the pleasures of urban contemplation that it offers the visitor, is another great incentive for the visit. Do not leave it disappointed !!
Beautiful museum in an exceptional setting. To see or see again during his stay in the center of Lyon near the town hall
Superb museum beautiful diversity of quality exhibits and exhibits
Museum to do and redo for art lovers. The permanent exhibition is simply great. The patio at the entrance is sublime.
A true masterpiece
The garden is splendid and calm
It looks like in Tuscany
A beautiful museum to check out as it has a good mixed of ancient to modern art collections.
It is the second largest art museum outside of Paris.
Beautiful setting, nice interior garden. Fast service restaurant, very good
Beautiful works from all eras. Sculpture and painting.
very diverse collections of Egypt in the 21st century
Imposing, vast building, numerous uneven works. He could easily make a department devoted to the historic fabrics of Lyon.
Sublime museum. To see at any price, The reading of Fantin Latour.
A unique place, superb collections; we don't go around all at once, and that's good, we have to come back. The small children also enjoyed it!
Beautiful museum, beautiful collections, with a beautiful greenery inside.
Beautiful even though today there were several contemporary works because they were transferred for an upcoming exhibition
Always a great pleasure to discover all the magic of the works exhibited with subtlety. I can not get bored, moreover I spend more time on each visit.
Great museum! I was there all my childhood and I will go back for sure
Always innovating, the MBA proposes an exhibition on Claude the Lyonnais emperor of birth, a clear, educational and pleasant exhibition! Successful bet !
A very complete museum and the Egypt section is wonderful
Okay, the garden looks pretty and small but there are many things to see.
Beautiful, there is van Gogh, Picasso, Degas and others.
Wonderful musuem, great variety of art and the building itself is phenomenal
great the place is always magical this foos was a little visit to the gardens where reigns a sweet and fresh romantic atmosphere. to admire without moderation
Very nice collection and the architecture of the building is magnificent. The prices are correct for a museum only snag that we can not leave the handbag in the locker room
I really like this museum visited several times. Its interior garden is great for a relaxing pose or a sandwich for lunch at peace (but right in the city center anyway)
Accompanying school exit, kindergartens were able to describe arrays with different views. We saw portraits, busts, landscapes. But also part of the exhibition on the furniture and antique dishes Archeology Museum. Creative workshops were organized for children and animation with sound quiz animal noises. Much to see yet.
Beautiful museum, but also beautiful place of calm in the center of the city.
Very nice exhibitions and very friendly staff, Claude
A Louvre-en-Lyon, a great museum that must be visited. Highly recommended for unusual to discover for a short weekend in Lyon
Great museum to visit without moderation. The last temporary exhibition on Mexican painters was very interesting.
Must-see, passing through Lion, mandatory visit, only 8 euros.
Superb building, the exhibition Metisse was really good but did not have time to discover the permanent exhibition ...
Beautiful garden that can be visited for free before entering the Museum of Fine Arts
Museum of Fine Arts A rewarding day with lunch on the "St Pierre" terrace
A place magnified by Lyon's history. Very nice collections of temporary exhibitions. Stop essential.
Big museum with historical artifacts (Egyptian, Roman, etc.) along with paintings and statues.
The Chapel section was particularly memorable.
Nice even if the temporary exhibition didn't speak to me at all.
The museum has at the entrance a closed park quite quiet and well spared the noise of the busy street. Good place to sit and tour the sculptures placed throughout the park. Small corner of fresh air especially in summer.
Many beautiful statues where you can go very close and examples and explanation of the sculptors process. Also paintings and very ancient Egyptian artifacts, very interesting
A great wealth of exhibited works without gravity we discover in addition to the painters of the school Lyonnaise remarkable
Quiet, pleasant, silent, conducive to reflection on the many pieces of many eras, in short a museum as it should. Very well !
The garden is a very relaxing place, full of charm !!! Well pity that at 5:45 pm you are put out because of closure! In summer is a bit too early! The bars close at 1am, look for the mistake !! In Lyon better to booze than to relax in the shade!
As for the museum itself is still the big blur about the ticket, which we must pay following that we go to the restaurant of the 1st floor or not!
Bizarre as a system
Missing arrows meaning visit otherwise beautiful works.
It is a museum of National category. It has very good sculptures and paintings. It's huge and it takes time to enjoy it.
This place is still as magical, the collections are very interesting.
Good Museum with an appreciable collection of post-impressionist painting ... Renoir, Corot, Monet, and a Van Gogh..etc
Being from Haute Savoie I went to visit this museum. A very pretty and soothing garden where you can see people doing their Sunday yoga. Terrace and bar symt
. In this museum there is ancient art, painting and sculpture from different eras, and contemporary art.
First time that a museum reminds me of the Louvre. Very beautiful collections of sculptures, a crush on "Christ in the Garden of Olives" of Chasseriau A superb part "Arts of Islam" which is developing. And beautiful temporary exhibitions. I highly recommend !
The sections dedicated to Egypt and the coins are really interesting and worth a visit. The restaurant is nice even if a little expensive. The terrace certainly deserves.
