Terrible firm, I have a near miss every time I ride with them. Avoid at all costs. They are also typically more expensive than Greyhound.

Very efficient and surprisingly quick and comfortable bus trip to sydney

Travelled from Sydney International Airport to Canberra for a mere $40.00. The driver was polite and friendly as were the staff at both ends. The USB charger kept my phone going for the full 3 hour trip. Will be using Murray's again.

Coaches always leave on time, but the bus facilities are not always clean and functional.

Used to be the best option to go Sydney from Canberra. Never late, always on time. But now, 30 mins late for every time. So disappointed.

Goes with out saying... get off an easy to plan your way back home..

Cheap safe transfer to Sydney International Airport

Have travelled four times Sydney-Canberra. Very friendly, efficient drivers, comfortable seats with USB ports. Announcement at beginning of each trips does mention keeping annoying noise down on devices, however, two of the four trips I took had people having very loud and lengthy conversations on their phones, -with most of the bus forced to overhear. If only the announcement could actually specify speaking in polite, PARTICULARLY LOW voices on mobile phones so that others are not forced to listen, as well as keeping any calls short and to a minimum, then Murray's Bus trips would be close to perfect.

Im conflicted on the stars to award Murray's because or bus ride out was smooth, however the ride back was terrible. First off...we arrived early for our bus and because we had the hot deals ticket we had to buy a whole new ticket instead of just pay the difference, which I get but come on. Then after paying full price for tickets they tried to charge me for the extra bags we had that we weren't charged for on the way there and the bus had more people and bags. Then half the seats were blocked off for the airport which is ridiculous! Especially considering there was a uniformed driver on the bus taking up two seats!! The bus was hot and the ride was extremely "bumpy". A car even beeped at the bus once because the driver pulled in front of someone too close (cringe). The drive was lazy and unfriendly and never gave the bus the wifi password. He complained about our bags then dropped our suit case on top of someone else's bag inches from the bus. The wheels were aught in the person's bag and the guy just kept removing the bags without caring! Horrible!

Comfortable bus. I didn't use the toilet during the ride though. Left on time. Arrived on time.

Best way to get from Canberra to Sydney. They're regular and cheap. Unfortunately they no longer run the late night services though.

If only I could give them a 0 rating. When a customer from or to an international flight is boarding your bus, shouldn't you expect them to have 2-3 bags? Why the money hungry tricks to fool customers? I was returning to Canberra after a long flight from US to Sydney and had 1 medium and 1 large bag and got told that I had to pay an extra 10 dollars because I was carrying a handbag that every woman carries. When I complained to the staff, she said that they couldn't go over a certain total weight, but the funny thing is, half the bus was empty. Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened to me but there is no other alternative. I hate their customer service and money hungry policies but can't use a different service. Disappointed....

I have used Murrays many times in the past. This time four of us pre-booked to go to Sydney from Canberra and return to Canberra after a Cruise ship tour. We arrived at Central station Bus terminal at 9.30 am. and our booked coach was at 12 noon. After a long tiring journey we had to wait 2.5 hours and so we requested to accommodate us at 10 am or 11 am coach if there are vacancies. The staff refused and were adamant and rigid thus, rejected our request. We noticed those two earlier coaches had so many vacant seats and they did not not want to help us. We found there was no courtesy or politeness and after waiting long enough and got into the Bus. Immediately the driver got in and out of the coach several times, trying to fix a door at the back of the bus. After taking off he stopped near the airport and try to fix the problem. Then at the beginning of M5 he stopped and tried to fix. Once again new Sutton Forrest he stopped and trying to fix. At last he announced that there is a technical problem and that he would stop at the service station in Sutton Forrest and arrange for all passengers to board the next coach arriving there in about 45 minutes or so. So we ended up reaching Canberra at 5.30 p, instead of scheduled time of 3.30 pm. So wen ended up paying a lot for the taxi that being peak hours.

This was a damn good lesson for us to decide that we would never, ever again use Murrays coach. There are other options for us and I would not recommend anyone to use Murrays!

They are generally pretty good with fair prices. I wish some of the drivers were more friendly though....

Very punctual and safe, but the backrest does not recline much.

The guy name Bale on service counter is really rude and unfriendly , he needs to go and learn how to talk to customers! Guy has really poor customer service skills l, I don t know how come he got this job! People like him should not be allowed to work in this position!
Otherwise bus drivers are really good, friendly and professional!

We had an excellent trip from Sydney to Canberra! We had terrific service from our driver, and free WiFi with USB charging ports! Leather seats too!

Much much Cheaper than a flight to Sydney, and not much longer to get there.

Poor customer service at Jolimont canberra.
Bus was reversing for leaving for sydney and driver and customer service rep didn't stop as I was about 10 seconds off. Customer service rep rude at the station

Great way to get between Canberra and international airport

I have had quite a few trip with murrys just this week and everone jas been wonderful thanks murrys for making my trips easy and comfy

Had some good and some bad experiences of Murray s. Very punctual buses that leave on the dot at the listed departure time. Can be extremely cramped and crowded due to peak times. Old buses had greasy and dirty seats. New buses are sleek and modern. Photos are of the new buses between Sydney and Canberra.

WORST bus company I've ever delt with. Wish I could give 0 stars. Do not bother travelling with them unless you buy changeable tickets. Did not specify where exactly they're pick up station was just "central station" and when we waited for over 45 minutes we found out we were in the wrong spot and missed our bus as someone told us the incorrect place to wait and they were unable to do anything about it. I will definitely NEVER travel with them again. Waste of almost $100.

There as good as the driver. Sometimes good, sometimes not so much.

The bus is so bloody late. More than an hr to wait at the airport. And then when the staff finally arrived he was casually walking asking around as if we are not late for our trip schedule.

Bus stations are always poor but this one is a little better. The toilets are clean, the kiosk is well stocked and reasonable quick and seating adequate.

This is the FIRST time I've traveled on a Murrays Coach to Canberra. A really nice and pleasurable experience. For coach trips, I can't fault it. Super fast. Arrived in record time. Sooo much better than driving (which I usually do). Won't drive again. The coach is far easier and stress free all the way. Additionally, the NEW coaches are Lovely and comfortable. Proper sized toilet/bathrom, far more comfortable seats, more mod cons.
Can't fault the experience for the rediculously bargain price. I'll be using Murrays again quite a bit now. Totally sold.

Bus driver on 1pm bus from Canberra to Sydney was extremely rude and unhelpful. Questioned why we had a pram and car seat as it was to much stuff... Ridiculous! It stressful enough traveling with a child but getting rude and unhelpful remarks from your employees are not needed.

Good bus service Canberra to Sydney. Also they were willing to change my ticket at the last minute which was very helpful. For some reason they are half an hour faster than greyhound buses too.

Their drivers are helpful but the station looks old. It would be nicer if they let the passengers choose seats on the booking system.

Good and timely service and travel in the bus like plane.

Best option for Canberra to Sydney travel car free, book early n get some good fares, last minute can be expensive. Trips mostly every hour. Great option if you are flying via Sydney airport as it drops you right at the departure terminal and also picks up at arrival terminal.

First time as I usually drive or fly to Sydney.Unluckily got an older bus on the way to Sydney.New one on the way back was great.Missed my bus home at Central but had a flexi ticket.....no problem straight on the next one.Do yourself a favour,get a flexible ticket for sfa more.

Customer service at Canberra bus station is awful. I have not paid to be yelled at by the bus driver.
