Staff made my puppy feel very loved and cared for! They gave me a lot of tips to help me give the best care to my puppy. I was really nervous about bringing my dog to the vet, scared that she would have a bad experience but everything went perfect! Thank you. What I appreciated most about Angell is how professional and loving they are.
Everyone I worked with were so caring and helpful. My dog had to spend a couple nights in the hospital and although I was sad, I know she was on great hands! I received daily calls and texts with pictures updates which always put a smile on my face.
My dog has been to several appointments at Angell and I have to say I am so deeply impressed and grateful for the care we have received. They communicate clearly and in a timely fashion, sending me pictures and updates while my pup was hospitalized. They had a staff member checking in on families in the emergency waiting area. They were clear about the cost and necessity of tests. Staff cleaned the waiting areas several times while I waited. Everyone was kind, attentive, and helpful. They made every stressful moment a thousand times easier to deal with.
I will highlight that the waits for emergency care are long these days thanks to the abundance of pets finding homes during the pandemic. They will triage your pet to make sure they get emergency care as needed, and have clearly listed priority order for these emergencies. I do recommend bringing a book and a snack. There are food/drink vending machines and an emergency phone charging station.
All told, I'd absolutely recommend Angell to anyone with a pet.
We came into the hospital, because my dog swallowed a popped balloon. The receptionist was calm and informative and provided timely service for the emergency. They set expectations for what would happen and there was little waiting between checking in and seeing the doctor. She was treated quickly and effectively and seemed in good spirits afterwards. What I appreciated most about Angell is how they provide empathetic and informative care. The several times I've been there, my dog received excellent care and I had a great client experience.
Every experience stands out every time. Truly a caring staff. Our first visit was stressful, poor little Summer was absolutely frantic. I hadn't had her for six months yet. This little pooch has a serious heart condition, and some behavioral issues. Yes that first visit difficult, Summer was so stressed out, I worried about what she was thinking, new places, new anything challenges her. Dr. Turowski and Laura were outstanding! I felt like I got some valuable information, a real education and beyond. I really feel like they have my back and Summer's too! Every phone call is answered and I always get the answer or the appointment, food and so on. They have truly formed a relationship with Summer and she absolutely loves them back.
The staff was very nice. My dogs were taken good care of from what I saw. I also really appreciated the low price of the spay and neuter. It really helps, especially when you don't have money to burn. What I appreciated most about Angell was the quick answers to my questions through email before my dogs surgery.
What I appreciated most about Angell are the helpful and caring staff, cleanliness and efficiency, long hours for visits and 24 hour emergency care. The doctor really cared and took a gentle approach to make my pet more comfortable. My experience at MSPCA Angell Boston was efficient from the moment I walked in the door to when I left. I felt like my dog got great care at his general well visit with Dr. Kaye. All of my questions were answered and it was an overall enjoyable experience for both me and my pet.

Walked into the emergency room at 6:30pm. They did let me know up front that it would be 4+ hours. They admitted my dog at 9:20pm. I asked them if they were keeping him overnight and they said no and to wait for them to call. 2am I called asking for a status update they said that I would receive a call. 4am asked for an update and again they said the doctor will call you.
They couldn t provide an update on his surgery, they couldn t tell me if he was still waiting for surgery and they couldn t tell me when he would be ready to go home. If you want to wait along hours with no information this is definitely the place for you.
Cost was affordable but I guess you get what you pay for.
Dr Rob Daniel was great. He spent about an hour with us, asked good questions and thoroughly explained everything to me and the staff who were shadowing him. He genuinely cared about my dog's well-being, and I felt confident in his plan for her care. What I appreciated most about Angell is the how much they truly love animals
