My dog has been to several appointments at Angell and I have to say I am so deeply impressed and grateful for the care we have received. They communicate clearly and in a timely fashion, sending me pictures and updates while my pup was hospitalized. They had a staff member checking in on families in the emergency waiting area. They were clear about the cost and necessity of tests. Staff cleaned the waiting areas several times while I waited. Everyone was kind, attentive, and helpful. They made every stressful moment a thousand times easier to deal with.
I will highlight that the waits for emergency care are long these days thanks to the abundance of pets finding homes during the pandemic. They will triage your pet to make sure they get emergency care as needed, and have clearly listed priority order for these emergencies. I do recommend bringing a book and a snack. There are food/drink vending machines and an emergency phone charging station.
All told, I'd absolutely recommend Angell to anyone with a pet.
