We do science here, mostly materials and condense matter physics
A dedicated research center mostly experimental research but here theoretical research also done. You will definitely love this department/center once you join and started working. Mostly basic all facilities are available within the building and for more sophisticated experiment you are welcome to explore the huge IISc facilities. A very healthy research environment you will find here.. I love it..
Professors in this department of prestigious institution IISc are really friendly and you go upto them and ask anything. The researches done here are mostly computational and on nanomaterials for details you can visit there website.
