The beer was cold, the food was excellent, our server was friendly, and the service was prompt. Pricey but worth it.

Had a lunch with my boss here. Good atmosphere. Lots of television to catch up on sports. A bit too loud for my taste.
Food was perfect.

Overcooked yet cold food, server was non existent. 81 minutes from the time I sat down until I finally was allowed to pay and leave. Sandwich and a non alcohol drink, by myself. When I am eating alone I do not want to wait 20 minutes for a bill, I am not here for the ambiance at that point. Brutal

Convenient location when staying at the Sandman Hotel. Food was great and served in a timely fashion. I will go back when visiting Calgary.

While the food was excellent, I've never been asked to leave before I was finished the food and drinks they served me. Our large group arrived after a convention at the nearby convention center, was told there would be time to eat and drink, but after receiving our food they told us our time was limited. Shortly after we began to be told forcefully to leave. Wouldn't go back, lots of other restaurants in the area.

Easy access and lots of parking. Always great attentive staff. Quick service. Food has been good and consistent. Clean restaurant and restroom

Great food, even better service! Manager Mike made sue everything was well run and to perfection. Our waitress Alex was attentive and sincere. We will go out of our way to return. Plus real wine glasses!!

By far the best moxies I've ever visited. Super friendly staff. Food is always amazing. My favorite brunch meal is the Huevos Rancheros with Eggs.

Excellent service and knowledgeable server's. The recommend the dish in the picture, like a seafood stew, can't recall the name but it was a new dish so i decided to be adventurous, the staff was dead on, it was delicious and filling (takes a lot to fill my hallow leg)

Not impressed by the service. Waited to be served around 45 minutes, some clients came after us but got served way ahead us. Our kids got the food more than 45 minutes after we finished our food. Does it take 2 hours to make a turkey sandwich? To make sure they get their tips, they included 17% already and their credit card machine would ask still for more tips. Noticed that their stake has miraculously shrinked since my last visit.

Great tasting food, chill atmosphere, but honestly a little expensive considering you can get a better burger or better steak for the same price at many places in calgary

Love the service at the Macleod Tr. Moxies. I always get treated like gold.

Good service and food items on the menu. I had the beyond meat burger and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. Couldn't even tell the difference between that and a real burger. Prices are affordable as well.

We just got there after the lunch rush was over so it was quiet and pleasant. Had an appy and a delicious cold hard lemonade. Was awesome!

Usually don't go to many chains but we had to find a suitable place for a whole extended family, very happy with the food and service.

1st night out since covid invaded our world. Our server M---y. was wonderful and very pleasant, and the food was delicious. Margaritas were pretty good also!

This is my favourite Moxie's in Calgary. Their "White Zin Sangria" is amazing! I've tried it at other locations and it's just not the same. The staff here is awesome! Super friendly and personal. I would recommend their chicken dishes, so tender and delicious! If you're in this area be sure to go here!

I would like the staff this evening and the manager named mike for helping me surprise my sister with her proposal from her now called fiance the staff was amazing and the service was great i would so recomend this place to anyone i see thanks again

Service was great, but the quality control on food was really lacking. We ordered a ceaser salad that was just lettuce and an insane amount of dressing. My burger and fries were barely warm and the fries I dont think were seasoned so they were incredibly bland.
Not as good as other locations, and considering the price, it really should be way better

Edit: previous review on bottom. After the owner reached out, I had a chance to go back. Changed the review because good service is always #1 for a restaurant!

I ordered a medium rare 7oz sirloin. Overall not great. Food placement was poor, my sirloin was also really really small. When I cut into it, it was not medium rare, more like teetering on well done. Chewy, tough not great. The mashed potatoes were really good though. Overall, not happy with my plate.
The Maui-Maui was well done though. So maybe it s just the steaks that are not so good.

Good atmosphere and food, received a cold steak and should have sent it back. I will still go back just ensure my food is prepared correctly.

From the host, waiter, bartender to the manager I have experienced phenomenal service. The manger noticed we had our hats still on, greeted us, introduced himself and let us know the heat was being turned up.. like, thank you sir and talk about service. From drinks to food couldn't recommend a better place for wine Wednesday.

Had a great server! Food was delicious! Only downside was the restaurant was packed(Saturday before Easter Sunday) and our group was directed to the lounge if we wanted a table. Best to reserve a table in advance during busy times.We took the offer to sit at the lounge instead of the restaurant. All levels of service and quality were above my expectations!

Stood at the front with a sleeping kid in my arms while numerous staff passed me again and again- one finally said she would get the hostess but after 10mins and the place basically being empty and still no help -- left to go give my business to a place that actually cares.

Great atmosphere and service. My food was quite good for the most part. My roasted potatoes could have used more seasoning and my calamari was served in big strips (I haven t had that before). I would say that it is on par with other moxies for sure. I would come back.

Had the steak frites, it was excellent and I've ordered this at a few other places. Was expecting average but was impressed. The service was great.

AMAZING service. This moxies took such good care of us. We went after VRKade (which, if you show a receipt, you can get 15% off of your meal). From the start the service was top notch and the food was delicious as well. Thank you for the wonderful lunch!

Professional, personable and efficient. I was provided a wonderful service from this group. The staff are happy and knowledgable, the managers are well organized and available and all employees are capable of communicating effectively. This is a great restaurant for a corporate lunch or family get together. I look forward to spending more time at this location. Thank you Moxies team for being so wonderful!

Every member if the stuff make you feel like family.

We went here for my parent's 50th anniversary meal last month. When we got to the table, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the middle of the table. My parents ordered the ribs and both were impressed with the quality. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. After the meal our server gave my parents a complimentary dessert, which was large enough to share with the whole table. She also said that the bouquet was for my parents to take home. We were all impressed with the service and the food, and the extras were greatly appreciated. Thank you to the Moxies' staff who made the meal a very special one.

Good service, friendly and efficient staff. The food was good.

Took forever to place our order. Order came out wrong. Took asking four times to get dip for fries. Fries were soggy. The waitress never once came to check on us. Only six tables in the entire lounge and there were two waitresses.

We had a most enjoyable meal here.

Marisa was our server and she did a fabulous job. Very friendly and efficient.

Was here in the Sandman for a meeting and then we went into Moxie's on site to eat. Gluten Free options are good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely. Service was excellent, our table was visited by the chef, and the manager, in addition to our stellar waiter. I am grateful to add another restaurant to my personal gluten safe list.

The only problem I see is that the air fresheners are awful. I look forward to the day when air fresheners are illegal, and fragrance free cleaning solutions and fragrance free spaces are the norm. I make great effort to eliminate and avoid toxins and chemicals in my home and don't want to breathe mouthfuls of chemical particulates when I'm out, especially to eat.

I went for lunch in the lounge today (June 4). AT first service was pretty good, however it went steadily downhill from there. No offers to bring me or the people I was with another drink once we finished eating we waited and waited for the server to come clear the dishes away and perhaps order a dessert. Finally, I just decided that if I did not get up and ask for the bill that I would be sitting there all day. It was definitely not a case of her being too buy as there probably less than 10 people in the whole lounge.
