Avoid this hotel. Booked through a leading booking site and the hotel made no mention of massive reservations being made in the hotel. No breakfast, no lunch, no bar, no restaurant. A dining room open for four hours a day. Completely false More

An upscale hotel in an old building with its own charm. The equipment is modern and functional. It should be emphasized that despite the air conditioning, the windows can be opened for fresh air. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and I enjoyed it very much.

The Midland staff are of a high standard and can't do enough to make your stay as stress free as possible. As for the other guests, there's no cure for being a rich complain bag. The food again is of a high standard, the price is reflected in this. The spa has been a wonderful bonus and the spa team are very experienced and thoughtful. One of the best hotels

Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms. They even left me a little welcome snack after I told them it was my birthday. Excellent location, especially for Manchester Central. The bar does a delicious old fashioned, though the steaks in Cooper's were very disappointing.

Held a meeting for 2 days in the Rolls suite with most of the party also staying over. Superb. Facilities were excellent, food was lovely and a bit different. Staff were also always available. Would return with no hesitation.

Used the Midland as our Base for visiting Manchester and the Lady Antebellum concert at MEN, even with the Conservative party conference in town the staff were lovely at check-in and even tried to get us a reservation in the French but unfortunately our timetable wouldn't let us, but we had lunch in Mr Coopers which was very good and staff were attentive. Our room on the first floor was lovely with everything we needed. Hopefully next time we can squeeze in a few days.

I found the staff and the hotel a pleasant experience coming from Australia nothing was too much trouble room was lovely would recommend them to anyone....... but am now at the Hilton Doubletree in Leeds and its the worst would not stay at another Hilton Hotel unless you paid me to do so and you would have to pay my bill and pay me at least $1,000. I even tipped the staff accordingly and I even sent them a glowing report on a thank you card and a lovely potted orchid for their front desk and for to that the service has to be exceptional and the Hilton have to pull their socks up if they want to be on the same level of service i received at the Midland Manchester

Best hotel I've stayed in. Customer service was unreal. The price was expensive but you get what you pay for. Clean hotel, smelt really nice throughout the place, the room was luxury and as it was my birthday, there was a cake in the room on arrival. They even gave me and my fiance prosecco for breakfast that morning. The food was really good and we were really impressed with our stay. Location is perfect.

Wemt for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. The tea selection was great; however, the sandwiches were stale and the cakes were distinctly average. Our table wasnt ready for our booking, so we were ushered into a small waiting area for 15 More

The iconic Midland Hotel is the most famous landmark hotel in Manchester, blending effortlessly with a decadent glamor of the twenty-first century sophistication. The hotel has a beautiful lobby and 312 rooms letto.La its central location, just steps from City Hall, making it perfect for quickly getting around town. Furthermore, customer care is priceless, treat yourself to breakfast in bed.

Midland is a cool, historic hotel in Manchester City Centre. See the niche sculpture of where Mr.'s Rolls and Royce had there first meeting. Also Hitler gave explicit instructions not to bomb The Midland because he wanted to use ut as his northern England HQ. So the story goes. Recommend the Free Manchester Walking Tour which meets daily at the Turing Memorial.

We were here only for 3 nights but we were very impressed. The hotel is absolutely fantastic and perfectly located. The stuff is very attentive and helpful. Rooms are spacious and charming, kept in a classical style with a beautiful vintage decor. We also enjoyed a tasty breakfast and the afternoon tea. Thank you very much and hope to see you soon.

I love this hotel. Always fancied staying here when I was working in Manchester but my company budget would never quite stretch to it. Treated myself to a spa day a whole ago, then came back again to treat my Mum. Only down side was that I did find the bar staff in the lounge a tad inattentive. In all other respects, we had a great time.

A ropey breakfast, but otherwise a Magnificent Experience...second to none. The staff were amazing:- barman Balazs mixing drinks to order in the Octagen bar, Sammi (Octagen too) offering us a towel when we came in drenched and Stephen the Best Concierge I've ever encountered. Sadly we didn't enjoy "The French" but as that is a unique business within the hotel, I'm not holding it against the hotel management in this review.. which is of an EXCELLENT establishment. (We WILL be back soon!!!). This was the view inside and from the window of room 433.
