My mom went tp the emergency room. All staff were helpful. There were two staff members one named Denise who sat with my mom and talked to her throughout her stay. Once she was admitted. Everyone on the second floor was kind, patient and extremely helpful. Dr.Patel was very sweet and explained everything very well. I am very grateful to the Emergency staff and staff on the second floor.

Long wait times and bad customer service! It s such a shame that such a prestigious hospital would hire certain people who give terrible customer service and would speak to patients rudely. After waiting 4 hours we were assigned a room and I was kicked out by Physicians Assistant Michael Beldino, he spoke to me extremely rude and said We didn t have to come back to the hospital I was appalled by his response being that Mount Sinai is one of the best hospitals and people come here in grave states... Please teach your hires compassion and customer care!

If you need urgent care, dont dare come here. Will take you hours and Doctors are very inexperienced. I can tell you these doctors all they did was cheat their way in medical school or colleges. Please, if you re going to be entering a specific professional job, be good at it.

Terrible communication and healthcare. I requested a prescription refill through my chart and have been refused the refill multiple times because I have not been in recently enough although my previous gyn told me I did not need to come back in for 3 years. I scheduled and showed up for an appointment on 12/27/18 with Dr. Kundu and the Dr. was a no show. There apparently was a scheduling error and the Dr. was still on vacation. I asked for a call back from the doctor as this is a prescription I have been on for four years and have not received a call. A major reason I chose Mt Sinai Queens was because as a larger medical group, they should be able to still look through my chart and provide care after a physician has left. Not only are they unable to do that, when I made the effort to come into the office, the Dr. does not show. I called again this week requesting a call back from the Dr. and the office staff said I would be refused the prescription even after I explained what has occurred. I insisted on a call back and the staff kept trying to talk over me, but finally said she would submit a request to Dr. Kundu. I have yet to receive a call back. This is an extremely frustrating experience and I will be moving my healthcare elsewhere.

I went to the ER here on 2 separate occasions. Both times they double charged me on testing. As my insurance has put it, they "charged you for the burger and then again for the patty". I've called multiple times. The billing department admitted over the phone that I was indeed double charged, but then told me they need more time to review the case. I've been waiting 5 months now. In a recorded call between their billing department, my insurance, and myself, they said I would receive a response by January 26 (almost a month ago now, and at that point already 4 months of me calling). I still haven't received any response. Ignoring the awful response time for an issue like this, the fact that they overcharged me twice on 2 separate occasions makes me think it's not a mistake.

On a separate note - one of the doctors on duty said "I didn't want it to be this busy tonight". Not exactly something that inspires confidence when you're at a hospital. Go anywhere else.

I recently visited the emergency department at Mount Sinai Queens. The ED was incredibly clean and the intake process went smoothly and quickly. Diana, the medical assistant, took my vital signs upon arrival. She was very friendly and informative. Laura Greenberg, PA and Polina Gulkarov, RN were the medical staff that cared for me. They were so nice, attentive, professional, and caring. The registration staff, Mirtha and Mauricio, were professional and ensured privacy. I received all of my lab results quickly. Overall, it was a great experience. This is by far the best ED in NYC.

This hospital has bad emergency visit reviews which I ve never been to. The two times I ve been to this hospital is for a tonsillectomy in November 2017 done by Dr. Prufer and laparoscopic cholecystectomy in April 2018 done by Dr. Swain both doctors bedside manner were impeccable even the anesthesiologist was amazing and kind though i forgot her name she was wonderful, the surgeries were not long and I was sent home the same day. The staff was very nice and helped me out with everything I needed. If i ever need to do another procedure or recommend someone that had same problems I did I would definitely recommend this hospital as well as the two doctors. Everything went well thank you Dr. Prufer, Dr. Swain and all the hospital staff that helped out.

Came in from City MD with a kidney infection with the possibility of appendicitis. They sent me here straight from the office with a letter saying it was urgent. When I got here the nurse at the front desk didn t even ask my reason for being here, just wanted my name and told me to wait. After 45 minutes I went back up to the front and explained that I needed care immediately and then she finally took my vitals. I got a lot of sass and snappiness from her, and she was altogether very negative to other patients as well. She walked away without saying anything expecting me to follow her and then said this is your nurse, barroom is around the corner and left. I finally got a bed and the doctor asked me why I was here, I said I have a kidney infection and am coming from city md. He insinuated that I was lying and tried to disprove all of my symptoms. When he finally actually LOOKED at my charts he started being a little nicer. They took blood but didn t plug the cap so I bled all over the floor. A couple hours later and they decided to order a CT. I was shivering in bed with a fever and asked for another blanket and no one brought it. When I went to the radiology department they left me in a wheelchair in the hall and said that the radiologist would come get me when he s ready. The radiologist had his door wide open and he was watching a music video on YouTube. After the CT the technician wheeled me into the hall and left me there for 10 minutes. I got up and went back into the room where he was enjoying another video and asked him if I was allowed to walk back to my bed. He grabbed the first person he saw in the hall and claimed that *he* was supposed to take me to my bed. However, the guy in the hall clearly wasn t informed and tried to take me to get an X-ray even though I clearly didn t need one. Overall an awful experience. Please don t come here if you need quality care.

There was a patient next to our room calling nurse loudly the completely ignor her. I tried to get an attention he said nothing I could do. God forbid don't get sick if you do don't go to that warehouse. OMG ridiculous no service at all. They will let patient die. I hope some one will do something.

I took my baby (16 months old) there cause he had a fever of 102.0 and asthma wheezing terribly.. I waited about 2 1/2 hours, for a doctor to see him and tell me what I already knew... he s wheezing badly...
the doctor orders a treatment for my baby... it takes about 20 minutes later for it to arrive. I left! Came home and gave him a treatment and waiting to hear from his pediatrician.

This hospital is a joke like it s doctors!

We were there for 2 hours to be attended by a orthopedic. The nurse took the blood pressure and urine test and after waiting another hour, a doctor informed us that the ortho doctor wasn't there and wouldn't be there until the morning. The worst part is the nurse who initially attended us knew we were there for the ortho doctor didnt tell us the ortho doctor wasn't there even though she knew. When we asked why she didnt tell us she tried to excuse herself saying she can't turn down a patient instead of apologizing for her mistake. Then she started to give attitude. So instead, we decided to leave. Don't plan on going back there anytime soon.

Under construction and not properly labeled. I had to walk my 80 year old MIL all the way around the block and back to find the new entrance. Not easy for her. Then find out they called her with the wrong day for her appt, and we now have to come back the next day.

Also the front desk people sat around chatting like they were in a dorm room or bar, and used foul language repeatedly and openly without regard to people sitting in the lobby. Very unprofessional. Not impressed.

Last year at Christmas my MIL fell and had broken ribs. We were in the ER for SEVEN HOURS before they decided to admit her. That whole time we saw a doc for five min. The rest of the time I was just standing around as there was nowhere to sit. Would not recommend this hospital if you can avoid it!!

I gave two stars because the doctors and nurses we dealt with were friendly. But it doesn't make up for all the negative!

I got into a bicycle accident and my elbow was in tremendous pain, stiff and swollen. It definitely felt broken. I went to the ER and they put me in a room without any water, medicine or attention for three hours. There were crumpled tissues and blood on the floor. The nurse refused to give me Tylenol or water because she wasn t allowed. Felt more like a prison that I was actually feeling worse and worse in. Finally recieved an X-ray from the ONLY DOCTOR IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM ON A FRIDAY. I never saw or had access to the images. After two more hours of nothing...nurse told me it wasn t broken and that it s nothing. They gave me drugs that made me sick and a cheap sling that broke. Two and a half days later they called and told me it actually is broken! I went to a specialist not affiliated with that godforsaken place and received real medical attention. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was such a pig pen I couldn't believe it. I am basing this on once I got out of the ER and was admitted. The ICU couldn't take me yet as the power was out and running on a generator and once I got there the charge nurse with a thick accent who keeps going "ahh?" was so obnoxious and unprofessional she chewed gum the whole time and could not be bothered for anything and yelled at her patients . Once they transferred me to a non ICU floor the bathrooms were unusable. There was feces all over and piles of paper towels in all 4 corners of the room where they remained through out the night . The P.A's also did not take notes or communicate anything

Dr Patel from the admitting team had almost overdosed me on insulin on top of everything because they checked my sugar only once in 8 Hours. It is also the second time Dr Manessis who I have never seen has ordered an overdose

First off, responding to George's comment; you may be right about the poor conditions such as dirty and other unsanitary. But towards the security guard, he is not allowed to touch or help out in any way. He is not allowed at all only doctors and nurses. But if in Queens New York, I think in better hospitals would be several the few are the Long Island Jewish Hospital and North Shore is very clean and great service I would say, so yea North Shore within Rego Park is pretty good. But also don't forget if a accident should take place then you or the victim would be taken by the Ambulance to which closes hospital near you. And there are times you have a curtain issue and inside hospital already, and they don't have right doctors or treatment for you so they send you some place else, where they have the right treatment for you. . Okay then everyone just stay health and happy.

I ve had the worst experience yet. The Emergency room nurse hexen or hexil was dangerously refusal of giving me my pain meds. She would ignore, take her darling sweet time for myself or other patients as well. Zero bedside manner, also she said in front of other nurses, doctors and patients my condition and I m a drug/seeker and she said I 100% am one.

I hope she gets retrained as her bed side manner is completely horrendous. But I m this hospital everything is brushed under the rug. Just like when this hospital was Astoria general and western queens hospital too.

Peace and love hopefully!

* NURSING AID INDUCED HEART ATTACK*
* THEY ALWAYS ASK THE SAME QUESTIONS WHY RU HERE INSTEAD OF CHECKING THEIR System* VERY INCOMPETENT* Lacks compassion

My mother was admitted on The 4th Of July. First day we came across very caring staff. 2nd Day she was in ICU, I thought it was a good mix. 3rd day she was in ICU. 4th day she had surgery. She was recovering very well under Nurse Ameer very caring person. 5th day she had a nurse she spent hours to figure out their new system. It took them about 45 minutes to come and change blankets after she soaked on her own vomit. I let is go simply because she needs to recover. Today SUNDAY JULY 9TH 2017. My mother was crying because she was sitting in the bed without her gown. They wouldn't clean her bed. The aid was giving her attitude and she finally put her gown with one usable hand with All the medical attachments she nurses aid taunted her by with sarcastic smile and signaling that she is not gonna help. I drove like crazy to find out she was having heart attack they sending her to Manhattan. When she able to speak she said the nursing aid caused it. This is the shortest version. I say about half the nurses are good other half is lazy, just there to collect paychecks. Just look around u will see them. Lazy, and looking for ways to put their patients down. Lazy people That Harass their patients.

I requested wheelchair service which I called ahead and was told it would nto be a problem. Not only did the tall guy at the reception desk when you came in told me it could take hours he was rude and angry when I asked what floor I should go to. He rolled his eyes.
How is it that people like that stay employed?
It is the first glance you get of the hospital it is terrible!
Then the front of the building was blocked by construction and a food truck.
There was no parking or even pulling up to drop off a patient on the same block as the hospital.
The lobby of the hospital was overly crowded because of that.
Someone who is at the management level at the hospital needs to look into this food truck blocking patients from getting in. Especially in bad weather!
But more importantly the reception staff was seriously unprofessional! The management needs to look into it. I am sure they know! This is NOT the first time they have heard complaints about this!
It's stressful enough to go to a hospital without some angry, unprofessional, untrained, employee being paid acting like they are on prison work release to make you feel at the very least unwelcome, unsafe, stressed, and worried that you are in the wrong place!
Just fix it don't send me some private form so you wont be embarrassed publicly Just fix it! If you fix it you wont get bad reviews!
I am giving 2 stars because my experience at the office where I was going was a little better except for the unprofessional reception staff.
There are plenty of people out of work looking for jobs.
Why do you insist on hiring the worst of the worst?

I ve not been here too many times but I can say the ER takes forever and a day to be seen. They were supposed to change the bed sheets so I can lay on the bed but instead I had to wait an hour before I had to tell a 2nd nurse that I needed clean sterilized bed sheets in order to lay down. The original lady then gave me a pillow and bed cover but no blanket! It s extremely cold in an ER. It was another 2 hours until I was finally seen by a doctor. That may seem like nothing but I had salmonella which can be fatal.

The worst hospital there is. I went there, at 8 months pregnant (unaware they didn t have a maternal unit) and they took me to the back from the ER. I sat there for 2 hours for someone to come tell me they don t see pregnant women, they don t have a maternal unit. So I left and went to mount Sinai west. I received a bill from queens, even tho no one saw me there and after several letters and appeals I m forced to pay them. I wasn t seen nor cared for but they re taking my money. Why wouldn t they tell me right away when I checked in and told them I was 8 M pregnant with stomach pains- that they DONT HAVE A MATERNAL UNIT. Such a scam. Plus it s disgusting there anyways. Don t go here, they will take your money.

i just got out of the hospital there, and the experience was terrible.. the ambulance used me as a Guinea pig to train a new guy... they took their sweet time to come get me.. i had to walk to the ambulance to tell them i thought i was going to pass out, then they over drugged me.. to the point i was shaking so hard i thought i was having a seizure.. when all was said and done they admitted me to the hospital but couldn't actually put me in a room cause it was too full so they had me stay in the ER the whole time. In the morning the nurse tried to give me more benadryl and steroids even though my reaction had passed already.. which in my experiences with my allergic reactions has never happened...and and when it was time to let me go i had to wait 3 1/2 hours for the person they assigned my chart to to come in and start her shift,, they refused to let ANY OTHER doctor come in to check me really quick and let me go... it was disorganized and my worst hospital experience ever.. and with my allergies and medical issues... ive been to a few hospitals.. stinks this is the only one in my neighborhood

Several of the staff were sweet but several were awful. The past 2 weeks I've been having most symptoms I used 2 get several years ago b4 I got a pacemaker. They r: severe dizziness, hands feet legs alternatively going purple/numb /pain/icy cold, sweat all over them & my body (body not cold tho) collapsing /almost fainting, blurry vision, chest pains, palpitations, headaches, exhausted. I have 6 heart problems but the pacemaker only helps 1 of the problems & I'm allergic 2 all the heart medications so the Dr's don't know what 2 do or how to treat it. I've been in this hospital 3 days & even tho I collapsed & went cold/purple in front of the Dr they're about 2 discharge me still very unwell! What should I do?!

If you Google "Hospitals in Astoria," please let me save you the trouble, and tell you not to go to Mount Sinai. The only reason I only give them a one star because the security guards were friendly.

I went in there with my mother to the emergency room because she had abdominal pain. First, the administration took an hour to register my mother. Once we were inside, the made us wait an additional two hours for an ultrasound. When it was time to give my mother the ultrasound , the Ultrasound Technician - Milana, took my mother for the ultrasound and did not correctly perform the ultrasound. The technician made it seem that my mother refused to perform the ultrasound, which is untrue because according to my mother she hurt her. Also, Doctor Ciraji, or something, even said that they could not read the ultrasound (right dummy, is because it was not done properly). The doctor did not give a second option to diagnose the pain. In the report, Milana wrote that my mother refused to perform the ultrasound. Obviously, if you cannot correctly perform an ultrasound, what in the hell are you doing working at the hospital?

Quick tip Mount Sinai, I understand that you are a public hospital, but you need to hire professional doctors and technicians that know how to practice medicine. If you cannot have professionals in your hospitals, how do you expect to help the Queens community? Come on. Get your act together. You are not diagnosing correctly, and the technician doesn't see to be doing their jobs correctly. Get yourself in order.

Overall, this hospital is a waste of time, disorganized, unprofessional, no motivation, no caring for the patient, and worst of all; doctors cannot practice proper medicine. You are an embarrassment in Queens.

If i could give a negative value for stars I would. My wife was taken here by ambulance yesterday and the experience was terrible. Terrible is a significant understatement. She got there and waited on a stretcher for 45 minutes before being given a bed.

Keep in mind she's in the ER for suspected concussion and/or intracranial bleeding. Once in bed, it took another hour to even get an IV. She was scheduled for a CT scan, so they were only able to give her Tylenol, which took about 45 minutes to get to her. The wait for the scan was another 3 hours by the way. They also said she was going to be given nausea meds. You'd think about another hour considering the pervious care given, right? Wrong! It took 5 HOURS of me complaining about it to get it to her. In between this, it was dinner time, they brought her food with milk. I told the nurse she was lactose intolerant, and she never came back with juice or water. After this, security even came in and told me to leave and go to the waiting roomy because they weren't allowing visitors. I've been with her for hours. There were other visitors and I was the only one to leave

Okay so her test results finally come back and nothing serious was reported, so she was discharged with a prescription for the pain. Everything is over now. I'll pick up her prescription tomorrow.

I'm sitting in the pharmacy right now as I write this. THE HOSPITAL HAD NO RECORD OF ANY PRESCRIPTION. The hospital even called the doctor from last night and said she didn't prescribe anything. ARE YOU JOKING???

Never again will I consider this "hospital." It was the first and last time. Take it from me. Go elsewhere for your care.

My mother wanted me to leave this review.

"Thank you so much. My mother was only here for a few days, but I was surprised by the amount of care and attention she received. I'd like to specially thank these two, Merlie and Tiesha, who washed, assisted, and looked after my mother with such love and detail. Tiesha even made sure my mother had a warm blanket. Nothing was overlooked. We're very grateful for the warmth we've received from the hospital and its hardworking employees. It'd be for a sad reason if we came back, but I know we would be in good hands again if we did. Thank you for everything."

Went in at about 3PM. Took 2 hours to do an EKG, then another 2 hours to get blood drawn. Overheard nurses laughing about the 4 hour blood workup !!!! Results came in, good to be discharged, wasn t discharged for another 3 hours. Discharge papers were sitting on portable nurse s station. Was only able to get things moving when I got the attention of the nurse. I wouldn t say they were short staffed because it seems there were enough nurses but maybe organize the shifts more so one nurse doesn t have more than they can handle. Also, since it is a team, if one nurse is dealing with a critical patient that delays the rest of the patients workups, other nurses with time should help and try to do the workup.

This has to be one of the worst emergency rooms I have been to. I went because my son had a hihg fever . When I arrived to the emergency room the receptionists behind the desk were talking very loud like it was a hang out behind the desk gossiping and cursing. When we finally got into the pre screening area we were asked to place him on a small table for babies that had a blanket on it containing previous stains. There were also urine samples out and trash on the floor. The actual emergency room smells like a litter box. There were gloves and containers on the floor. The sink was rusted and the walls had dated red stains on them. When he finally managed to fall asleep the security guard came into our room and unplugged an ekg machine so he can charge his phone which proceeded to beep very loudly because it was unplugged while it had a low charge. He ignored the beeping of the ekg machine and walked out of the room until I had enough and rolled it out of the room and left it in the hallway. I feel like he was better off at home. One thing I do have to say is the doctor was nice.

I was there because of dizziness that I was having for a week straight. However when I got to emergency I was automatically uncomfortable due to them not sanitizing the wheel chairs or the seats that ppl have to sit on. Then once I went to get my vitals checked the nurse decided to do a ekg on my heart. I was placed in a room in the back waiting for doctor. I constantly complained about feeling dizzy and asked for someone to take blood or urine anything no one cared or bother to help me. I even called the number for patients relation or whatever she was being very helpful but by that time I was literally walking out to goto CITY MD URGENT CARE. I WOULDNT RECOMMENDATION THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE OF COLOR. THEY LITERALLY DONT GIVE TWO SH*ts about us. NEVER AGAIN

Been going in to this hospital since 1993, however my recent experience has been terrible due to the overnight charge nurse Katrina. I have never met a nurse so rude and hypocritical as this one. There are ways to deal with patients with out having a harsh tone when there are plenty of patients who are drunk just looking for a bed to sleep in. Nurse Katrina thought it was ok to be blatantly condescending to a patient with serious chest pains with a history of heart attack and stroke. It's quite upsetting how people think it is ok to be ignorant to someone just because of a language barrier. She didn't care one bit after complaining several times about chest pains getting worse. I have never seen a nurse this dimwitted and inconsiderate of a patient with real life threatening problems. Yet she gives care and attention to the patient who have a group of his friends with him talking loud and on the speaker phone at 3 AM in the morning be as loud and disruptive as they like. Truly saddening to see such a great hospital that I have come to several times see how it is going downhill due to , who I am guessing is a new hire, such as charge nurse Katrina. Hire people who are capable of their job and don't just push people around because of some power trip.

My godmother was admitted in here for the second time after 2 months since she's had surgery because we had no choice. But this time I felt obligated to write a review, she's diabetic and her sugar was extremely low and the nurses came in doing the same exact things over and over just getting her blood pressure, her sugar, EKG but no actual results or notification to what's going on. As I went to go get water I witnessed two nurses SHOPPING ON AMAZON looking for TV's!!!!!!! As I heard a patient calling for help! What a disgrace. All of my grandmothers records are here and we had no choice bc there was little time but next time we will not have her here!!!!

Really bad experience.

Really bad experience.
I booked my appointment for the first time since I live in Astoria and thought it was convenient since it s a hospital and has multiple choices; And I was wrong.
My rendezvous was at 11:15 am so I showed up 20mn earlier to prepare myself for all the paperwork. I waited in the waiting room from 11:10 till 11:40 and no acknowledgement or whatsoever; At this point I just went to the receptionist who did my paperwork and asked her to cancel everything. I can t trust in an establishment that it is going to make me wait for 25 mn and not showing any care.
For that I will not recommend this hospital to anyone!

The used to post my test results on their online portal, but then I changed my insurance, which apparently means they can't post my results for some reason, and so I need to find a time to go pick them up in person. Makes no sense.

The worst medical place in the city!!! I came to emergency with sharp gastric pain, I was waiting for 3,5 hours and nobody even had gave me an anesthetic pill, after 3,5 hours finally doctor came to talk and only what she could advise me it was to take my blood for analysis, and the result I should wait for one more hour! No pill, no ultrasound, nothing, only loosing the time! And they charged me $1292,00 for emergency treatment! I went to Bellevue Hospital on 1st Ave there I had real emergency treatment.

Several months ago I suffered a brain aneurysm. I'm happy to be alive and that the attending doctor recognized that what was going on. I was really out of it when they asked me to take off my boots and shirt. I was vomiting and in the worst pain I had ever experienced. I was later transferred to Manhattan. After several weeks I was released and called Mt. Sinai Queens, explained the situation and attempt to track down my boots (a $400 pair of Frye's). I was asked if I filled out a claim form. No. I was having a brain aneurysm. Who was your doctor? Don't remember, I was having a brain aneurysm. Long story short, I was transferred to virtually any and every department, and every dead-end non-working number in that hospital in order to NOT get a straight answer. When well enough, I went there myself. The security person was very reluctant to get out of their chair to ask someone to check lost and found. I was sent to another department where, after writing my name down and the date I was admitted, they could not find any record of me ever being there. Unfortunately, this did not mean I would be receiving a bill from them. I should send them a bill for stealing from their patients. Mt. Sinai Manhattan, despite the circumstances, was a much better experience.

Not the place to take your kids. They just didn't have the people there who really knew what they were doing. In fact, the last nurse that came before the departure seemed intoxicated/high and actually asked to redo the same ineffective process that the Doctor had done 15 minutes earlier. The Pediatrics area is nicely designed, but since it is not properly staffed, it is basically just a nice place to have kids play, although the way the doors open from both sides of the children's room is a serious safety hazard, to say nothing of the doors that keep slamming shut. If you have kids, take them somewhere else.

Went to the ER for appendicitis and the nurses, doctors, x-ray techs were fantastic. The ER moved surprisingly quickly, all said and done (appendix removed) I was in and out in less than 24 hours. Being that Covid isn't far behind us, they allowed one visitor for 4 hours but weren't super strict about it.

I was just released from over night visit at ER. ...

I was just released from over night visit at ER. From the time I entered I knew this visit was not going to be good. Place is fully staffed with many unprofessional staffers, even the nurses I just cant believe some of them actually pass the test. Instead of Doctors you will see mostly Physician Assistants which act as if they are Doctors. They seem to only hire only the rejects in the medical field. The receptionist at the Ambulance reception (black male) was such a low life, when I told him I have a real emergency and I was about to pass out with chest pain, he just looked at the receptionist next to him (female Hispanic) and said with a smirk on his face and giggle, "everyone's an emergency". When I was in a patient room staffers would just come in and out talking loudly, turning lights on, even talking to their friends while on their personnel phone, while I'm suppose to be relaxing. Place needs a real oversight. I was moved around about 7 times from one hallway to the next hallway. It reminded me of what you see third world country hospitals are like. This place is overwhelmed with a staff that has ZERO patient quality skills. I could go on and on but this experience was exhausting and will never wish this place on anyone. If you want real Doctors and not some rejected Doctors and P.A. then STAY AWAY. They are not Doctors and are clueless. It's sort of a on the job training recruitment center. You've been forewarned.

Last Thursday, I had surgery at Mt Sinai Qns. for a groin hernia. I went into the OR at 8am and walked out of the hospital at 11:48 not feeling at all like I just had surgery. The OR staff were excellent in explaining everything to me. I cannot be more pleased for keeping me calm and informed throughout the preop and post op support. Dr Sequira and his team were excellent and professional and most of all compassionate.. I highly recommend this group for surgical procedures..

Come here if you want to DIE. This ER is all over ...

Come here if you want to DIE. This ER is all over the place, nobody cares about the patients. I went in at midnight for a UTI. I was peeing blood every 5 min and in unbearable pain. i waited for 2 hours before I could be seen by a nurse, who didn't seem to speak/ understand English, then a PA saw me for 3 min, and made the diagnosis before she even let me finish describing my symptoms. Like another reviewer said, everyone was running around but nobody was helping anyone. There's no sense of urgency here, everyone was just taking their sweet time doing theri own thing. TERRIBLE!
