Great meals. Really love the food. But, REALLY REALLY love the cocktails. Obsessed with the Passionfruit martini. Its by far the best cocktail i've ever had!!
Ridiculously overcrowded, poor seating options, poor choice of mixing glasses (eg: coke + whiskey) and too much ice in them leading to shocking dilutions and bad taste. Waiting to get a drink took ages too, by the time you get your next drink you ll surely be sober from the last one!
The atmosphere was nice and the food was good, not great, but good. Sebastian the waiter was lovely and friendly and an asset to the restaurant. What was disappointing though was the complimentary bread and yes I am aware it's free but it was rock hard and definitely NOT edible! There was three of us dining that night and we decided to let the chefs show off their talents and chose the chef's selection which was $59 a head. $59 per head is not a bad price until the food arrived and it definitely was a platter of food for TWO at most. The presentation of the food looked amazing. On the share board was a piece of duck thigh, 3 bite sized pork belly, a small-ish lamb shank, and roughly 150g of chargrilled steak sliced with dollops of different sauces around the food. It really looked amazing but for the price, NOT UP IN HERE! It did come with Mac and cheese with truffle which was yum and literally a quarter of a lettuce head smothered in green slime looking sauce which was super salty to the max, what went wrong? Everything about that lettuce! There is a lot of hype about this place and I cannot understand why. This place was okay but would not recommend and I would not go there again.
