Marvellous place with most delightful menu.
We often visit The Garden at Rose & Crown and each time our expectations have been met beyond and above!!!

Went along with the family on Saturday arvo. Had a great time. Food was nice, service was good. Kids had a ball. Nice settings. Everyone enjoyed themselves

Always a great place for a feed and a cold beer with friends. Great atmosphere.

Live music, cool atmosphere, laid back vibe, but also laid back service.

Always enjoy the restful, shady surroundings here. Staff are efficient and friendly.

The Pork roll special was spectacular, especially with a couple of pints of Guiness.

A lovely bar/cafe with a beautiful beer garden. Friendly staff who know their stuff.

Love this place. Beautiful surroundings. Try the breakfast. American waffles with bacon and maple syrup (Canadian waffles?) yum.

Great night with family to celebrate my brothers birthday. The atmosphere was awesome, posh dining with open log fire, table service. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, service was quick and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend the pork belly, absolutely delicious. Even the option to split the bill at the end. Great night out and highly recommend.

Takeaway
We have been locals of the rose and Crown for 10 years but in the last 6 months the quality of food pre covid 19 was not the best high price, very poor quality. We decided to give the Takeaway a try tonight, very disappointing fish had no taste what so ever, krasnkys were chewy and pizza although it tasted good it was the size of a normal dominos pizza, was way overpriced for $26. It was all overpriced and tasteless, learnt lesson wont be going back.

GREAT spot, always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, good food and beer.

HAD TO VISIT THE VINES RECENTLEY,AND TRAVELLED BACK THROUGH THE SWAN VALLEY ARRIVING AT GUILFORD FEELING HUNGRY AND THIRSTY. SO WE HAD A DELIGHTFUL LUNCH AT THE ROSE AND CROWN
I CAN RECOMMEND STEAK AND GUINNESS PIE
WITH A PINT OF GUINNESS, HEALTY EATING AND DRINKING

Went Tuesday the 9th for Dinner

Venue is very smart and relaxing

Food was a minus
Prawn starter was over cooked and stringy
Pork belly was dry and over cooked
Chicken vindaloo was good
Rice was nearly rice pudding

The service and atmosphere stops this being a 2 but over cooked food is
pretty poor

I will give the place another go for dinner

If i weren't eating it is a great place to hang out and have a beer.

Went there for breakfast today. Coffee was excellent; no burnt taste, presented professionally (and I'm not usually the snobby type with coffee) so my compliments to the barista. Food is delicious and filling, not too noisy even if it gets busy, service was quick and friendly.
Overall, a very pleasant environment. I'd go there again. Well done and thumbs-up to the staff.

Gross place, full of bikies and dirty midland people. Has a haunted house feel to it, and the atmosphere is terrible. Wont' be back

The Rose and Crown has it all. Really like the place. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Probably the service, they always seem short of staff.

Lots of people.a very busy place. Good toilets. Tastie food. Parking is not easy. There is a lot of choice as to were to sit and what to eat.

Very easy to like a place like this - great (famous) pub, expansive yet comfortable atmosphere and helpful staff. Maybe the problem is it doesn't have to work too hard - food good but not great taking the 'pub-food' factor into account. Ample parking out the back is definitely a plus!
