First experience there is a good experience. The food was good. The people were welcoming. A little bit hectic at time of check-in which is understandable. Check-out was smooth. Late check-out possible.

Beautiful Mauritian hotel by the beach. The furniture is simple but the bedroom is spacious and the bathroom clean and sufficient. We had half board and the evening meals are very varied and very good. By cons not many restaurants around the hotel.
The animators do their best to always have a smile and make us have a good holiday.
Roberto at the entrance of the hotel offers excursions at reasonable prices and is also very kind.
The only downside is the lack of deckchairs, there are too few and many deserve to be changed because too old and dirty .... it's a shame ....
In conclusion hotel of excellent value for money.
The team is top, animation side, kids club sleep the ladies are extremely nice, very attentive, I loved it, the only downside is the 3-day buffet to eat the same fish recipe, lack of communication between the waitresses and the cook, lack of variety. Otherwise it was wonderful

Wifi is the MAJOR problem here. At room wifi coverage is zero which is annoying. Main area has good connectivity but again speed is too slow. Except this everything is super awesome.
Rooms were very ordinary , bathroom was very conjusted .

Lovely hotel, not too massive. Tasty buffets and good rooms with air conditioning, balcony and sea view. Friendly staff. Nice pool and plenty of sun beds. Stripje strand may not be called a beach, you are on a somewhat higher part and you can go down with a ladder to swim in the sea.
Too bad the WiFi works badly before 10:30 p.m. but the hotel is nice and the staff very welcoming

Aging structure, we stayed (to our surprise) in an annex building of the hotel.
Otherwise it's okay, nice buffet breakfast by the pool, entertainment every night, some free activities (glassboat, kayaking, ...)

Heavenly!!! the hotel at 30 years old and in need of restoration concerning the furniture in the dining room. A bathroom renovation would be welcome. The staff are wonderful, very attentive to your needs and extremely kind.

We stayed for 6 nights over here in room number 301. We beautiful place. All rooms have good views. The resort is a bit old so there were some small issues in the room like :AC water dripping and water leaching through the bath area to the toilet area. Room key was very tight and it took quite some time to lock the door each time. Room was quite spacious with a separate kids bed. Food is very nice and the menu keeps roating every night. The staff from the hotel were very good n friendly. Special mention to chef Das who had been super friendly with us and shared many stories. Water here is very expensive so we bought from the supermarket on the opposite side.
If you don't have too many pretensions, the CORAL AZUR HOTEL is just fine as a value for money.
The hotel is located on the sea with a small private beach and available to guests in addition to deck chairs and beach towels there are pedal boats, canoes, etc.
Upon our arrival at the Reception we were greeted by Yaseen who speaks Italian very well.
The room had a garden view and there was a glimpse of the sea; the cleaning of the rooms was daily with change of towels but this does not compensate with the dated furniture, on the bathroom there would have to be opened a book (shower head so small that we were hard to rinse, non-existent mixer so either you took a hot or icy shower ).
Inside the room you will find a kettle and two cups (without tea or herbal teas, we took the sachets in the morning) and a fridge (empty, for those with the all inclusive soft soft drinks are free and can be brought to the room. keep them cool).
The wifi is there and it is not there or it gets bad or even does not activate and to connect you have to stay in the lobby or reception area in the rooms there is not!
The breakfast is very varied which cannot be said about lunch, not to mention dinner (all buffet style).
Every night a different theme and the Italian themed night is bad!
Fortunately, crossing the street you will find a pizzeria that is always part of the structure with an Italian pizza maker and I guarantee you that it is really worth it! Excellent pizza, good Massimo!
On departure despite having the hotel pick up at 18 we were given the check out from the room at 11 !!! From 11 am to 6 pm with your luggage kept in storage at the reception (at least that!), The hotel gives you the opportunity to take a shower upstairs of the structure but also no thanks!
I found the fact that they came to look for us to pay any extras (30 ) .. don't worry we didn't run away !!!

Wonderful Christmas holiday 2019 with the family! Family hotel very well located near Grand Baie, Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches via the bus stop in front of the hotel.
The hotel restaurant is very good, the service is responsive.
The mini dodo club and the "taties" were very popular with our children.

The beach is clean and safe.
Food is great, hotel staff are courteous. They have cultural programs each night.
They have many free water sport activities such as pedal boats, kayaking, glass boat ride. Few other paid rides such as wind sailing , parasailing are nice and worth the money.
You get complementary bottle of water each day, which is great considering the price of a water bottle there.
Make sure you request the phone\mobile for your room to make free calls.
Cons: You do not get wifi in rooms.
Pool is small, - anyways you can use the ocean.

Hello I came to your place in 2015 for the Christmas and New Year's Day it was wonderful at the end of the year came back to more
Very good stay for the whole family. The food is very good and varied and the swimming pool pleasant. Good entertainment too. The kids club is also excellent, the "taties" take care of the children very well. The evening activities, after dinner, allow the children to occupy themselves and entertain themselves while the parents relax a little. Unfortunately the reception staff are not very welcoming and wifi is only available in the reception hall, it is not very practical.
In spite of the low price and age, don't be fooled, because a lot is done for visitors and for children and thus contributes to a relaxing holiday.
Nice welcome and beautiful location: close to Grand Bay by bus at a very acceptable price and close to a very beautiful beach (5min walk); the hotel beach can satisfy a pressing desire for swimming. The staff is attentive and very helpful. Even if the cocktails are approximate they are refreshing. The prices are a bit above average but the service is there: ask and you will have! The pool is in good condition and pleasant, it just needs to be a little shade because it can get hot. The proposed activities are the same as in a club of the same level but the animators come to pick you up for those which are free (they really come!). The children's club is really VERY good !! The rooms are not of a great luxury but are sufficient and they are renovated progressively at the moment. They correspond to the price and we honestly don't go there to spend all your time in your room ... otherwise go to a palace, there are also. If you plan to make excursions, I advise you to plan them in advance because you can have the same on site but not at the same price however the transport times remain important given the geographical location of the hotel.
In summary: warm welcome, pleasant and easy stay, proximity to the beach, services, children are taken care of. This is the first time I have stayed in a hotel of this kind and I am satisfied with it. Good value for money in my opinion.
Value for money. Could have been better for a 3 star hotel. Was there for 2 nights. Saturday night was awesome with good food and great animation. Sunday night was disappointing with poor food quality and boring karaoke. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Pool is not big and half of it is not used by guests since it is 2m deep. Boat house personnel very professional and activities provided were interesting. Hotel badly needs renovation of rooms.
It's quite ok....bt they don't provide complimentary water u hve to buy it separately i.e, 100 Mauritian rupee(200 inr) per bottle. And in the rooms there is only one power socket and that is too inside the wardrobe.

Time well spent. Amazing location with beautiful view. Service was great and staff was very polite. However food was just ok. There was lack of variety in the main course. But other than that everything was recommendable. Nice spot to chill.
For a 3 star hotel there is nothing missing.

- a bit old, but still recommendable

I satyed there for a week lovely and relaxing atmosphere , the best part I liked is hotel staff is very cooperative and its kids friendly , would recommend a must stay over there .

We stayed there for 7 days. Nice Hotel with good location with beach. Food is also good specially for non vegetarians. For vegetarians there are less options. Otherwise service is good. Rooms are little bit smaller but nice. Overall Nice place. Value for money.

Very nice property, awesome sea view & location is really great as every thing available near to it and the beach is also located at walking distance, free water activites like snorkelling,boat ride are also very nice.....
But dinner and breakfast hardly have varieties for the vegetarian one, rooms are only satisfactorily as they dont have good ambience and other room service facilities.
Rooms are not good, very conjusted , providing 1 ltr water in 24 hrs between 3 person, in dinner no free water, it is surprised..
The best daiquiri i tasted and very friendly staff. A wide variety of cusine from around the world and great entertainment.
