Fun and unlike Hollywood drinks are free as long as you are gambling.
Great atmosphere, excellent place to meet for dinner.
Went to gamble. Finding parking was horrible. You would think as much money as they make that real snow removal could be done. Besides that it was a fun time
I went to a corporal dinner with my Bride. The food was very good and the atmosphere was healthy. The lights and decorum were beautiful. The only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is the cigarette smell that comes out of the casino into the corridors.
Loved the set up with restaurants around the outside and gambling in the center. Everything was clean and easy to navigate.
Attended the Ronald McDonald House sponsored gala this year at the Mohegan Sun. Great food, lots of great companies and people sponsoring a fantastic event.
Very clean! Well sectioned off for covid. Friendly service. Comfortable overall in the casino area. Hotel was also very clean and comfy to boot! Very luxurious spot overall.
Ok.. so on bar downstairs.. no Corona at downstairs bar where tables are at...
Bar at track.. no limes!.. really!
Food or snack bar at track whatever you want to call it... really?? And closes early
O and opening day of track last month..it wasnt even open!.. really mohegan??
Bathrooms are not as clean as they were... thumbs down
I honestly dont gamble but i Love it here its a great place to just go have fun live bands horse races food service is amazing no matter what your doing!
Less customers in poker room. People leave around 1am and come back around 11am, so you cannot play long.
Lots of great restaurants and shops, bars, slots and table games. Friendly staff, and they get some great live entertainment
Great staff with some fun games. Good drinks . A Variety of things to do and restaurants to choose from also has great rooms if you'd like to stay.
Went to see monster jam and wound up at the casino instead of the arena. The people working in the casino didn't know how to get to the arena.
I'm going to give you the Pros & Cons about Mohegan Sun.
The PROS are it's a pretty Big Casino. It has a lot of slot machines. A lot of tables to play cards, they have craps tables too. Some nights They have free live music.
They have horse racing
They have a lot of restaurants there, it's a big circle all the restaurants are on the outer circle and most of the slot machine and games are on the inner circle with the exception of pennylane which have the penny slots and high stakes which is 5.00 and more slots. they have an all you can eat restaurant Timbers Buffet the food is ok cost about 20.00 per person though you can use your players card to lower the cost if you have points on there and use your coupon. Although sometimes there is a long line there. They have a Chinese restaurant on the circle and beside that place a restaurant that has very good food like barbecue chicken dinner and gourmet sandwiches but I forgot the name. They have a steak house and ice cream place a Johnny rockets that sell hamburger and cheesteak subs and fries.
The DRINKS ARE FREE and the cute girls that work there are awesome they keep the drinks coming and you never have to look for them .
They have a big bar in the casino by the slot machine and TV through out the casino
*************
CONS
If you don't do valet parking it's a long walk from the Parking lot to the casino. Be prepared to drop your lady or older person off at the door so you can walk up.
if you go there before 11pm it is crowded as hell! A lot of times you can't get to a game you want to play because it's someone on it which forces you to play a game that you don't necessarily want to play and then you start losing money. Also Mohegan Sun keep those machine so tight good luck on winning anything.
Unless you live in Wilkes-Barre it's a long drive and driving at night around there and on route 80 & 81 isn't fun there streets and highways are jacked up with potholes and such.
Great modern casino. Wide range of slots and tables (although we only play the slots). Can get pretty busy at the weekend, we like to go on midweek nights when it isn't as busy and the payouts seem better. Good entertainment options along with food choices. Make sure you sign up for the players uber for free play and other giveawaya.
Had dinner and drinks at Bar Louie which was very good, then had a drink at the center bar. Only thing I don't like is the smoking, but it's a casino so that's usually assumed.
Had dinner with family and the buffet and everything was really good
Love the new layout, great place...however a little overpriced compared to other casinos in the area
Always fun. We have our business dinners there and the food is always good. Gaming tables for just about everyone. Minimums change based upon crowd and time of day
We had a really great time, even left with a little extra $$
Just attended the Casino. All wentveell, no issues.
Not many slot machines open a majority of them were down...also no smoking inside anymore....wont be going back anytime soon
Aside from being able to smell cigarette smoke in the air while walking through the casino to eat choose a restaurant to eat in I thought the facility and the rooms were clean and I would not have a problem staying there again.
Always a great time when I visit ... check it out !!
Brunswick Lane staff was fantastic very helpful place was fun
Still need to straighten out too many things, definitely not ready post pandemic!
Decent Casino. Not very big, but having the track attached is a definite plus.
food selections have improved here..rustic grill is excellent...casino needs some attention to cleanliness and machine repair..payback okay..but you have to work for it.
Need more slot play. For as much as we loose there. Need more choices of places to eat. Need the slots to be friendlier.
The rooms are very nice because they are brand new plenty of restaurants to choose from the casino itself is satisfactory at best
We went to enjoy the buffet and we're rudely refused access to the inside of the casino since we had a child with us. My four month old infant was NOT going to gamble and all we wanted to do was travel the outer ring to get from entrance to buffet. We were forced to travel outside through the parking lot and enter through the hotel lobby. VERY inconvenient experience and rude staff staff member :(
Would've gave it 4 stars but the lack of microwaves & mini-fridges in the Guest Rooms forbade that.
Always win there. Great safe parking for truck drivers. Great food/buffet restaurants. Plenty of promotions. Smokinh & nonsmoking sections. I enjoy going here.
My husband and I go to dinner here and sometimes play slot and tables. They are really expanded and improving them selves. .they have the new hotel open now.
Fun time. Great bartenders and the band when we were there was amazing. Flowers for Tacos. Great band. Plus my husband won big.
First of all it feels as if it s closed. As soon as we pulled up No sign the valet was closed for the hotel. We had to walk from the parking lot. Place was deserted as most of the stores are closed.
You can get drinks on the floor but no alcohol What s the point of that?
Rooms are dirty with absolutely no amenities Not even a Keurig. No refrigerator. No room service. Nothing. No one is here and they gave us a room looking at a concrete wall!
Place needs to be completely cleaned.
Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Loved the comedians at Wisecrackers. Had a great time. Jill the Housekeeper was awesome. Had a great experience at Rustic Kitchen.... Would definently go back...
I work here, but it is a very nice place to stay the night.
Actually they arent too bad these days. Getting better with comps. Atmosphere nice. Good restaurants. Now if they upgrade to ordering drinks from the machine they'll be golden
Spent the whole day at the mohegan Sun had a good time and came home with my shirt . Gambled ate food dance the night away and had a overall great time.
What a wonderful staff. I really just cannot say enough about the professionalism ALL THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT displays. I highly recommend you visit and stay here next time you visit the NEPA area.
It's a casino. What can I say. The Mothers day dinner at the buffet seemed to be an improvement over years past.
Very friendly staff especially check in and vallet....great team!
Stink from smoking. I don't like Mohegan Sun Casino. Really SUCKS smell smoking. Not go there no more.
Well my first time there I spent 1200 and was not even there long . I could not believe how it just kept taken money . I could not even enjoy my self to be honest.
Staff on the floor is great plus the drink attendance.
I was really looking forward to my stay at the Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre. The employees were very nice and accommodating, however, the room was small for $260 a night (midweek), the room had a view of a roof, the sink backed up, there was no way to adjust the water temperature of the shower before you stepped in, so you were treated to a blast of cold water, there was no refrigerator or microwave, a room service tray across the hall remained there for two days, and there was a long walk to casino floor. Yes, there were shuttle buses from the self-serve parking lot, however, if you wanted to walk yourself, you had to go down about 20 steps with your luggage to get to the casino entrance.
I've stayed at many casino hotels in Atlantic City, and the Mohegan Sun Wilkes-Barre ranks way way below those. If I had tickets to the Event Center again, I would consider staying at a less expensive motel than putting up with my disappointment of the Mohegan Sun.
2nd time there and I won and they have great drinks and great restaurants
