I was really looking forward to my stay at the Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre. The employees were very nice and accommodating, however, the room was small for $260 a night (midweek), the room had a view of a roof, the sink backed up, there was no way to adjust the water temperature of the shower before you stepped in, so you were treated to a blast of cold water, there was no refrigerator or microwave, a room service tray across the hall remained there for two days, and there was a long walk to casino floor. Yes, there were shuttle buses from the self-serve parking lot, however, if you wanted to walk yourself, you had to go down about 20 steps with your luggage to get to the casino entrance.

I've stayed at many casino hotels in Atlantic City, and the Mohegan Sun Wilkes-Barre ranks way way below those. If I had tickets to the Event Center again, I would consider staying at a less expensive motel than putting up with my disappointment of the Mohegan Sun.
