I stayed on the behalf of Qatar Airways as a transit passenger. It was a short but a very wonderful stay.
I used to stay in many 5 star hotels but the stay here was very pleasant and amazing.
We arrived in a group of 20 persons but the checkin process was very smooth , Thanks to Monika ( the girl at the reception). She handled the whole group very efficiently and it didn't take much time.
She is a real gem in hospitality industry. Her approach, handling and explaining each and everything was really wonderful.
Would recommend this hotel to friends and if I get a chance again, will definitely stay here only.

Amazing staff. There was one guy who I like to thank in particular, he went all the way to wake me up after a big night out. I made my flight home because of him. Never had that sort of service before. I'm sorry I never thanked you properly so here by a Big thank you!! Overall great hotel

Only one thing, there is no napkins on the breakfast table till I asked for it and some tables are lack of serviettes. This happens to be the first time as it never occurs to me before in my stay.

All the staff are good in what they are doing and are prompt to my request.

By the way, thank you for the room at 702 which is marvelous as I need to work and separated from the place I am sleep.

The Movenpick Hotel, West Bay Doha, Qatar is by far one of the most exquisite hotels I have had the pleasure of visiting in my travels around the world. Its rooms are spacious, exceptionally well appointed, and both comfortably and fastidiously furnished. Views from one s room of the Arabian Gulf and the city are breathtaking. The dining facilities and the cuisine would make the finest French restaurants envious. The exercise rooms boast the latest gear and the Bay View Spa is so beautiful and accommodating that one might be tempted to pursue a day of relaxation in the care of the hotel s very expert masseuses in lieu of attending meetings or sightseeing. But worry not, the meeting facilities easily meet the demands of the most discerning billionaire corporate head. They are so well designed and outfitted with the latest high-tech equipment that work feels more like play. When meetings and assignments have been completed, the hotel is strategically located within walking distance to major landmarks that will meet the needs of the most serious tourist and culture fanatic.
I could go on endlessly espousing my delight with the Movenpick Hotel, West Bay Doha, but I would be remiss if I did not complement the hotel s General Manager, Ms. Ghada Sadek. She is extremely well organized and accommodating. She has phenomenal leadership skills and her professionalism is contagious to the point that the hotel staff exuberantly seeks to emulate her example. I strongly recommend staying at this castle they call a hotel if you visit the very beautiful and enchanting city, Doha, Qatar

Stellar service. I arrived here for one night because I missed a flight to Tokyo. The hotel staff were friendly, prompt and spoke excellent English. The rooms were superb, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. In a way, I'm somewhat glad my flight got delayed because I was able to spend a night at this truly memorable hotel.

Good hotel and reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, wear and tear is present but not obvious. Downside is the construction behind the hotel, the generator causes a bit of noise that is annoying at night.
I had a room on the 19th floor and in the morning there was no cold water only hot. Maybe it was a coincidence but something to note. In the evening it took a while to warm up.
Hotel offers car service which is more expensive than the karwa taxis, haggling is possible but a bit out of place. Ride to souq was 50 qr, taxi 17 qr.

doha all hotels are good just need to look at the ones that fit the budget

stayed one night in our way to Melbourne , responsive concierge has arranged city tour for us it was great tour. efficient check in, only the room was not clean enough and the pool were extremely busy away from that our stay was superb!

It was a delightful stay with very pleasant hotel staff and a delicious breakfast at Forkknife restaurant.

We were very pleased to be upgraded to a better room than we booked . A nearby Carrefour supermarket was an advantage . Considering the size of the room the window was small because a large part of the superstructure used up what could have been a good view . We arrived and wanted to make a cup of tea or coffee but there was only Earl grey tea and decaf. coffee . It's a nuisance to have to ring to get English B'fast tea and reg . coffee . This happened the second day as well .
I must say that the room service was quite prompt .
I asked the Consierge if there was a hop on- hop off bus in Doha and he told me there wasn't . He offered me a car and driver at USD25 per hour . I subsequently saw a Hop on- hop off bus operating . Not good enough !
The position of the hotel was good . I went one morning to have a swim in the hotel pool but was horrified to see babies in Nappies in the pool . I gave it a miss . Not hygenic and poor health behaviour .

The breakfast content is poor enough to fit a five star. Unfortunately, the slippers, towels, etc. materials in the room are not changed every day. But their staff is very helpful

The thing that bothered me ... which is not taking into account the accommodation of a soccer team next to rooms with families, so it is necessary to separate such matters.

And the beautiful thing that I found was the comfort of the room, the view, the restaurant, the good treatment of the restaurant staff, as well as the receptionist who upgraded my reservation for free on the occasion of my wedding anniversary.

The rooms are ok, not the newest hotel in Doha. The service is very good and the location is great if you're in the financial district.

Nice hotel, good restaurant, spa was nice altought it did not respected the opening hours displayed. Great view on the beach from the spa.

I would give more stars if possible.

The hotel was fine, nothing outstanding. On the negative sides, however:
- Spa was completely booked for my 2 night stay, which seems unfortunate, since I imagine few business travellers are booking days/weeks in advance.
- The steamroom was not kept heated, but heated "on demand", which is pretty pointless since it takes an hour to heat; the sauna wasn't hot enough for me to break a sweat.
- I swam in the pool, with two men (presumably guests?) standing across either side of the pool carrying on a conversation, listening to music. It didn't make for a comfortable experience having them watch me every time I go by. I think spa staff should be more attuned to guest experience.
- I had a 5am flight, requested a wake up call, didn't get it, missed the hotel shuttle that I had pre-booked for.

We stayed for 2 nights as extended stop over between Europe and Australia. The upgraded room was large, although very crowded with furniture, terrific views. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the concierge.
For us, having gluten free food available for breakfast is really important. Not having it is why I am not as positive about recommending this hotel.

Great hotel for work trip, well placed. Stayed here a few times. Rooms can be hit or miss - one I stayed in was a bit shabby with broken curtain, stained towel. Rooms are generally clean and comfortable. In room Wi-Fi fast and reliable. Staff usually very friendly and helpful. Service in lobby cafe can be painfully slow though. Haven't had breakfast or tried gym, pool and sauna.

Amazing hotel. Food is tasty and kids liked it very much. Nice views to many hotels and chornech. The only thing that is missing is playground space for kids.

It's a waoh place. Beautiful layout. Hope to visit personally someday soon.

The room was very large and it was a bonus having a Kitchenette. Bed was comfy.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding. You would be hard pressed not to find something to eat. So many choices.
Staff were very friendly and most helpful with any queries we had.

Good hotel. Nice food. Very little choice for vegetarians. No Indian dishes available. If you want to cook your own food, they provide facilities for that in your room.

Upon arrival I had to wait for 45 mins for my room and the staff waited for me to return to reception and enquire as to whether it was available as opposed to finding me at the earliest opportunity.

I was initially directed to the coffee shop to wait for my room and the tables contained dirty ashtrays; not a good first impression.

Nobody escourted me to my room or assisted with my baggage.

The room was adequate but looks tired. I had to phone in the evening for clean towels and toiletries as there was obviously no turn-down service.

On the first morning I was joined at breakfast by a colleague. Despite booking full board accommodation, I chose not to return for either of the lunches or dinner as the breakfast offering was pretty poor and I did not want to spend any more time in the all day dining restaurant. Upon checking out, I was asked to pay QAR 115 for the additional breakfast. I explained that I had had 2 breakfasts over the two days, no lunches and no dinners yet even the duty manager refused to exhibit any flexibility. It strikes that the hotel staff have no desire to attract repeat business or customer loyalty. I shall not be returning and will advise my company not to use Movenpick in Doha again.

Had a wonderful expereince at this hotel. Staff were very helpfull and wonderful especially Raj who works in the lobby and house keeping extremely freindly and helpful and great at what he does. Stayed in room 1412 and the room was excellent.

A good buffet breakfast! Three locations for eating; the ForKnife restaurant, lounge and a cafe.
Although my room had some damage to the furnishings, and the TV was in an odd location, it was comfortable and with complementary water and tea/coffee making facilities.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed a great reflexology massage at the spa and an indulgent time at the complementary chocolate hour!

Good location, some restaurants and coffee shops are less than 3min away. Hotel is clean and quiet.

Slow room service.
Morning buffet has limited options for Veg lovers.Veg preparations are not that good.
Swimming pool area is covered and have some hygiene issues.

The staff are very hospitable and a very clean and organized facilities..

The customer service and check in desk was very good. The in room. Dining was perfect. The only down side was that the housekeeping would many times forget to put the face cloth despite repeated requests. The laundry service was also terrible as I lost my underwear and furthermore despite a clear indication that the Embassy will pay for laundry they wanted me to pay before my laundry way released. Upon intervention from guest service and an apology about the misunderstanding the matter was resolved. The fault was with the Laudry department at the hotel.

It's so tidy and luxurious and located close to city centre. Highly recommended.

I used to stay in this hotel everytime I arrived in Doha.Hotel is good but my request is to increase good menu items in room service and in breakfast some more options should be added. I found very few items in room service menu.
