Everyone is so nice and kind. Andrew was our salesman, and he is 100% awesome. He was very up front and truthful with us about everything. He also took his time and explained the entire car and truck to us. Dan the finance manager was great as well, very helpful and kind.

Cannot express how excellent the customer service ...

Cannot express how excellent the customer service was here. Everything was set up with the customer's best interest in mind. We got a good reliable car for a great deal and the company stands by their products with their guarantee. I'm sure every member of the sales team does a great job, but I highly recommend the salesman we worked with, Niven. Next time we're in the market for another car, I know where our first stop will be.

Such a hassle! They will try to overcharge and not follow up with basic inquiries. Front desk/scheduling staff was not accommodating with scheduling or returning calls, sales staff is the stereotypical used car salesman type- only trying to hustle. I suggest another dealership, as buying a car from them was a much too difficult of a process than need be.

Always very polite, answer any and all questions, they explain things that I would not have thought to ask about. Entire team is friendly. Keep appointment times and always offer assistance with getting you around if you don't want to wait for your car. I will be using them for all of my Ruby Slipper Camry needs!

Gotta say this was the most pleasant car leasing experience I have ever had. I tried 2 other dealers closer to home first. Can you say nightmare? Very dishonest. Then I emailed 5 other dealers up to 1-1/2 hours from home. Modern Toyota, but specifically Derek Mosier, was the ONLY one to be totally upfront and honest with me. Special shout outs to Susan Scoggins and Milen Aykov as well for completing the process painlessly.
Wanted two vehicles, and got exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted.

I just purchased a used SUV from Modern Toyota. The paperwork was handed seamlessly, efficiently, and without delay. My wife & I wanted a very specific vehicle, and the only place that came close to the price we got from Modern was five states away. This was not my first purchase from Modern Toyota. I purchased a new Toyota Tacoma there in 1998. My daughter just sold it to a dealer, after I drove it 240,000 miles and she drove it another 80,000. They had the best deal then, also.

We ran over some paint that had spilled out of a car two cars in front of us. We had noticeable paint on the two left tires and wheel wells and on the paint along the side of the car.

We took our car to Kenard Reynolds at the Modern Toyota in Winston Salem. Kenard did an outstanding job of removing the pain in all locations and in some areas where we hadn't noticed it. The car is like brand new. He put an outstanding finish on the car that has repelled dirt and spotting.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed or the quick turn around. The Service Area waiting room is Great! Lots of room to work and very friendly staff to assist.

I want to bring our other car to Modern Toyota to be detailed just so it will look like new. Thank you Kenard!!

I had an awesome experience from start to finish with Modern Toyota. I received a survey from Toyota for my sales contact, Marcy Drysdale, and completed that very positively. I did not get a request for a survey for Nancy Smith, so wanted to complete that here. Nancy was wonderful! She took time to review the manuals for our new 4Runner, sit with us in the car to explain all the features, program the radio, connect my phone and answer any questions. She demonstrated everything and answered all our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend either Nancy or Marcy to anyone who is looking for a new Toyota!!

I hvent been here since I sold my Toyota 4Runner in 2015. I purchased my 4Runner brand new and Toyota service center were the only mechanics the services my vehicle. I just recently returned due to purchasing a 2007 Toyota Tundra. My tundra needed brake work. I was very displeased with my experience at Toyota. Modern Toyota has really changed for when I use to go in 2015. I hope it gets better.

Watch out! It's a rip off place! I'll make my long story short. Apparently I had a mass air flow sensor problem. So I called the service department and asked for an estimate. I've been told $200 would be for a sensor and $200 for a LABOR! Then I did my research. What I found left me speechless! This sensor's location is between the air filter and the throttle body right in the front of you. You don't have to get under the vehicle or unscrew bunch of things to get to it. It's only TWO screws that you have to unscrew to remove sensor and then put this sensor in and screw them back. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for this labor? Are you out of your mind? I didn't buy Mercedes! Was this a joke? I'm not going back there anymore. I used to be a customer but had few times suspicions regarding their honesty. Now a days you don't have to stick with anybody who tries to fool you and take advantage of you. Farewell to Modern Toyota Service Department. What a shame!

I have tried other places like high point and Greensboro TOYOTA when it was more convenient to my location and the simplest oil change and inspection created a nightmare and inconvenience. He had a keen sense of what we were looking for and was very helpful without being pushy. The color that I had wanted was not available but the staff had one delivered to W-S. While waiting you can watch TV, get complementary soda, water, coffee, etc. From my experience at other Toyota s around they don t provide complementary items while you wait. Therefore this is a great place to get your car services and relax while doing so.

This is the best dealership. I have purchased 3 new Camry's here and referred my daughter, who bought a new Corrolla. The staff are always courteous and helpful. Their service center is always willing to help with even the smallest problem. While u wait in the service department, u can help yourself to soda, bottled water and Keurig coffee. I have really been spoiled here. I know other places do not go the extra mile like Modern. I will continue to buy my cars from them.

Great company! Bought my '18 4Runner from them and couldn't have been more pleased with the transaction. They beat the pants off (price-wise) of the dealers in Charlotte and they delivered the car to me at my place of work in Charlotte. I'll use them in the future for certain!

Salesman I dealt with wasn't pushy. Service department was great and found things on my trucks history that I didn't know about and wasn't afraid to let me know. They didn't push to make you feel like your vehicle needed some maintenance that it didn't.

Still handled things well when he had to take on another customer at the same time. Please make sure he gets credit for his great service. Didn't seem like any other employees were as welcoming though. Guess we got lucky.

We're a three-Toyota family and I spend a fair amount of time at Modern Toyota, receiving service. What you see here is very little turnover in the service technicians, the same faces time and time again ... a great waiting area with coffee and water, plug-ins for electronics, and plenty of places to sit if you want to get away from TV sets. While appointments are encouraged, you can show up on a Saturday morning and a slightly longer wait time is worth it to avoid interference with work. (The shuttle service is also excellent.) Pricing is competitive, even for tires ... I was brought up to believe dealerships "ripped you off", but Modern Toyota destroyed that stereotype for me. In eight years as a customer, I have never had an issue with any work performed that required me to return for a fix. Highly recommended!

They do a great job with the car service. But the timing and how long it takes is crazy sometimes. I had a 12:30 appointment for a oil change and its now 2:43pm and Im still here on my only day off to get anything done!!! Maybe Jiffy Lube next time!!$

Update - Daniel contacted me the same day of this review and he he worked out everything with my warranty and was extremely nice and helpful.

Love the car I bought but the administrative staff lied about my warranty. I went in to cancel the warranty and was told that I could use it closer to my home and by other garages outside of modern so she talked me into keeping the warranty that I went in to cancel and now today I find out that I can not take it to anyone outside of the modern group..... Honesty would have went a long way!

I was in town on business and having issues with my car not idling, and brought it into the service department here. They identified the part that needed replacing. Erik and Ray worked with me to make sure I fully understood the issues. The team was also candid about repairs I absolutely needed right now versus repairs that just would need to happen sometime in the future. Erik and Ray also did a good job explaining the different options for repair, and they were able to bring down the original quoted price some as well. Having to get things fixed on your car is never a pleasant experience, but I would say this one went about as well as you could hope for.

2 1/2 hour wait on an oil change. I guess if they don't make any money off you they will just squeeze you in if they descide they want to care about your service. Or maybe you only get this treatment when you decline the "needed or suggested" services when getting an oil change. I was told it would be 15 more minutes after they diagnosed these issues and it's been over an hour since I was told this. I will never get my services don't here. To many other companies out there that actually care about you vs the money.

About a month ago I had called for an appointment for an Oil Change. I made the appointment for 7:30, I showed up at 7:35. Pretty busy morning in my opinion as multiple people were bringing in their vehicles for work. The service adviser greets me and asks what work I need to have done. I told him an oil change, and said I made an appointment, I know I'm a little late, do you think you can have this done by 8:15 at the latest. I also asked how to long would a zero point calbiration take because I have a VSC Trac and VSC Off lights turned on in my car from an OBDII computer being stuck in there instead of a toyota computer, he said about 1 hour a little bit more, I said never mind I'll come back for that. He checked his clock and said yea it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. The reason I ask because I work on North Point Blvd by University, quite a drive for me to get to work by 9am. I came before several other customers, that had service work, all of them left before me in their cars (I saw them come in after me and watched them enter their cars... maybe they had something simpler than an oil change to do). 8:35 rolls around, I don't see my car anywhere it has been close to 1 hour and no sign of my vehicle, being ready. 8:45 rolls around, I see a technician come around and drop off my vehicle. I'm thinking ok if I speed out of here I should make it just a little late to work. 8:50, my 4runner is still sitting there, no sign of my service adviser so I can pay and leave. I walk up to the Service stands and ask another adviser because mine is no to be found, and say to him, "Excuse me sir, that's my vehicle, I'm not sure where my service adviser is, but I'm late for work can I pay through you?" "No you can't, he's going to go get your paper work" 8:57 Rolls around, service rep waves at me to come over, I'm outside of the new waiting building anxious to get in my vehicle. He comes and tells me the total, and mentions that there is a clicking noise in my car, and that is probably why my VSC Trac and VSC Off lights are turned on in my 2003 4runner. Sorry to break it to you, but that noise has been there prior to the lights coming on, even though I explained him why the lights were on when he was checking me in, no matter, I'm already late, told me the total, I told him keep the change b/c I'm already late to work. I hop in my car and speed off. Oh no, but this lengthy story of why you'll be the absolute last resort for me servicing my vehicle with you guys is not over. Not only did it take twice as long for an oil change, plus I'm staring at my vehicle for my adviser to go get the "paper work" (which was one sheet of paper), BUT, I have no oil change sticker in my vehicle at the top left of the windshield... the technicians left the old one up there...AND you didn't reset the maintenance light that turns on when the 4runner tells me it's time for another oil change. So you couldn't even get an oil change right, and it took you twice as long to do. I ended up doing your job by resetting the light myself and writing down when I had the oil change on a piece of paper. Thanks Modern Toyota you guys are awesome, oh by the way the adviser never said sorry it took so long. Wonderful Customer Service... super stellar. Any real mechanic will tell you it shouldn't take that long for an oil change, maybe if you're doing it on your own, and don't have thousands of dollars of fancy equipment at your disposal. Futhermore if you can't get a simple oil change done properly, what makes you think I want you looking at my vehicle or anything more complicated.

My fiance' and I bought a 2014 Toyota Camry about a week ago, Our salesmen was Gopal we had previously purchased a vehicle with Gopal a couple of years ago from Modern and because of his dedication we returned to him to buy the Camry, and needless to say Gopal out did hisself once again along with Lonnie who achieved the financing. I love Modern Toyota the whole experience was great. They are honest and never try to fool you with usual carsalesmen antics. but if you are looking to buy a car see GOPAL he is outstanding, he will go above and beyond to suit your needs in the car buying experience. I could write a book on how great Gopal is, if you see Gopal and want to buy a car he will get the job done! I would definitely return to Modern Toyota of Winston- Salem in the future. The entire staff is outstanding and let me add Lonnie the finance guy also went above and beyond to put us in our Camry, which I absolutely love.!!! and you know a car salesmen is outstanding when you return to the same one at the same dealership.. Thanks Modern Toyota and most of all thanks GOPAL and LONNIE!!!!! you both have made my days much happier with my new Camry.

Service guys are really nice but I never get in and out in less then an hour and half. I came for an inspection, which should take about 5 minutes, and ended up having to wait an hour and half WIth AN APPOINTMENT!!! Please have your efficiency match your service techs politeness

They are awesome, very accommodating and personable. The Service Manager Ray makes sure all your needs are met and satisfaction is guaranteed. He and Ginger both are the reason I come back! Keep in mind, I own a Lexus - I could very well go there!
