We had a fantastic 30min wine tasting at the Mission Hill Winery. It was a very personal experience which they should offer even after this pandemic. People will love it! The buildings are stunning and above all the wines are wonderful so we brought a couple of boxes with us home! If you are in Kelowna, don t miss out on this experience!

Beautiful grounds and view but the tasting experience was disappointing. We tried to engage the server to discuss the wines. She seemed disinterested or ignorant. We chose not to purchase any wines and drove down the road to Quails Gate and the Hatch where we had great services and purchased a couple of bottles from each.

The whole experience was amazing. Our group of 6 had booked an reservation for the terrace lunch, from the moment you stepped in, you can feel the amazing service from the team. The food was amazing, the service was good. I would highly recommend them.

It was our first time at the winery and having heard a lot about Mission Hill we were very excited. The estate is considered to be one of the higher end wineries and naturally we expected the same level of service. It was quite disappointing however.

The young folks at the entrance were lovely and we appreciated the complimentary rose, so thank you for that. We were then escorted to meet the girl who would do our tasting. Her name was Trista. To be honest, I ve never had a tasting experience that poor. She was very quiet, unenthusiastic and responded with well it s just Pinot Gris, nothing else to my attempt to ask her to tell us a little bit about the wine we were tasting. I don t necessarily expect a high grade sommelier to be doing our tastings, but I think some basic knowledge about the estate, the wines and the proper way to experience them is to be expected at a tasting, especially at Mission Hill. Trista also kept looking at her watch and looking a little bit irritated, which also made us feel like we weren t very welcome and a bit rushed.

Will not be coming back.

Undoubtedly one of the nicest views and more regal "estate" feeling wineries. But that's where the positives end - that doesn't make good wine. Their wines are average at best, but the entire notion of this place is to take your money. $17 A PERSON TO TOUR THE WINERY? ARE TOU KIDDING ME? You don't even get to see the wine making process here - Ooooh big deal they show you their barrels full of wine as if that's so impressive. There are MANY MANY wineries in the area that have much better wine and are WAY less pretentious. Mission Hill is WAY too full of itself. Quails Gate and Summerhill are extremely popular for a reason, Summerhill lets you tour righ in amongst their wine marking facility (Mission Hill used to) AND ITS FREE. Watch Cedar Creek turn into Mission Hill East now that they have the same owners.

What a beautitul Scenery directly from the entrance of the winery! Once inside the vibe is just great & the staff are just so attentive to any of our demands. Had a tasting offered by the winery of roughly 10 wines from their quality whites all the way to their top Riesling Ice Wine .. Let's not forget the Red wines who are quite impressive with a great lenght and some solid aging potentiel.

Excellent tasting wines! Ordered the Legacy Flight for starters, which consists of Quattrain, Compendium, and Oculus (their 3 top priced wines). The tasting simply did NOT disappoint.

For lunch, we ordered the Scalop, Catch of the day (ivory spring salmon), and the Rigotoni. The Scalop had excellent texture, which combined well with the halibut.
The catch of the day was a little dry and salty but overall not too bad
The Rigotoni had an excellent blend of different sauces with a meaty texture and blend. The sauce was not too heavy and paired well with the wine.

Bridget is the best! We were on our wine tour with West Kelowna Wine Tours and Mission Hill was our 4th stop and the best all because of Bridget. She made the tasting experience the best. We learned so much from her. Not to mention, she is an absolute sweetheart and is so happy all the time. Thank you Bridget for making our experience at Mission Hill the best of the day. Hoping to stop by again and requesting her for another tasting!

Absolutely scenic views. The architecture is something completely different from other places I've seen in the region. In the wine tasting tour you get to try some exceptional wine. I was even able to see some deer in the property. Very cool experience.

First of all, the views from this winery are second to none. Overlooking the Okanagan Valley, the Mission Hill winery was a treat to visit. We did not tour the vineyard, but rather had an enjoyable lunch in the restaurant. The service and the wine (of course) were excellent. I would certainly return again.

Love, love, love this winery! I had the pleasure of visiting this winery last weekend, with all my girlfriends for my bachelorette party. We had a tour and a wine tasting. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guide was Leanne (I hope that was her name!), she was amazing and made sure we had an experience we wouldn t forget. This was the first stop on our wine tour, and thank goodness - we were supposed to go to Quails Gate winery, but despite our booking we were met with nothing but attitude and extremely rude staff. Starting our day at Mission Hill really set the mood, and got us so excited to see what Kelowna had to offer!

I was so thrilled with the warm welcome we received, especially as we were a bachelorette party of 13 women. This winery is a must see! I would definitely recommend Mission Hill over and over again.

Came here for my first wine tasting; the wines were delicious (especially their Riesling Icewine!! Unreal and I ended up dishing out the $100+ for the full bottle), our guide was patient and knowledgeable, and the design/decorating of the winery is beautiful, making for nice pictures and exploration. 10/10 and highly recommend stopping by Mission Hill!

Mission Hill is a beautiful Vineyard and Winery located in West Kelowna overlooking Okanagan Lake. We loved the architecture, green grass and the awesome view. The custom made bells in the bell tower sound incredible in the afternoon. The tour is very good and is topped of with some fantastic private stock red and white!

Mission Hill is situated in the heart of Kelowna and in one of yhe most pristine places within British Columbia and Canada. The building and estate surroundings are breath taking and a must visit if you can. Mission Hill has a wide range of wines and best known for their reds especially their Reserve Pinot Nior. They do have a single cask Chardonnay that I will highly recommend as well. Mission Hill is one of the best wineries in the Okanagan and Canada.

Lunch or dinner at the Terrace Restaurant at Mission Hill Winery is definitely always one of my highlights when visiting the Okanagan Valley

They are dedicated to the sourcing and promotion of local, sustainable, seasonal food. This approach lends itself to a light-handed manner of preparation that respects the character of the ingredient and where it is grown.

My favorite of all the wineries. Great views, beautiful grounds, friendly service and of course, awesome wines. Go get a bottle of their first and only "sparkling" wine before they disappear, worth the effort, trust me!

This was my first ever winery visit so it blew my mind when this place looked straight out of the Handmaiden's Tale or some utopian society.

Wine tastings start at $10 for a flight and can be redeemable when you purchase a bottle of wine. The wines were ok, lots of aroma to them when you sniff them but they didn't excite my pallet. It's definitely a great place to get photos and to try out some wines before you buy it.

Gorgeous location and beautiful wine, but I was so disappointed by our experience. We booked a nice sit down tasting and were rushed through it in military fashion by a stern staff member who continuously pointed at her watch, telling us exactly how much time we had remaining. At the end, we were told to leave even though we hadn't tried each of the wines in front of us. It was stressful and a wet blanket on what could have otherwise been a perfect experience. Not sure I will give them my time in the future.

Great architecture and beautifully built but went at opening time and only got to retail store with nothing much to offer that is not avaliable at your local wine store. It was off season so expected this. However most visited in bc

Mission Hill Vineyard is a pearl in this wine-growing ocean that the Okanagan Valley offers us. Several experiences are offered to us. I had the chance to do a tasting in a private room, walk through their aging chamber and taste straight from a barrel. In addition, the hostess who shared with us the passion for the vineyard, starting with the architecture that the owner wanted to create. This passion for precision and authenticity is now well recognized by the reputation and quality of their wines.

Thanks for this experience.

We visited the vinary over the weekend without reservations. There were 2 attendees at the entrance. He explained us that without the reservations they are not allowing visitors, due to COVID they have to follow all the safety procedures and bla bla bla.
We were fine with that and everything BUT THE FUNNIEST PART IS HE WAS NOT WEARING . upon asking he said it's not mandatory.
Following all the rules but not wearing Mask???how hippocratic is this?

Wonderful setting, kitchen put a lot of effort into preparation and presentation of food, but the front of house staff are just plain awkward.

We arrived ten minutes early for our booking, and were sent away to entertain ourselves. There is no bar to sit at while you wait, which is a bit strange for a restaurant of this level.

Also we didn't feel that the wines matched the food, as we followed the recommendations in the menu. I've found that if a wine is a good match, you tend to eat a little, drink a little, etc. Instead, I found I ate the whole meal, then drank the wine.

Our waiter had a habit of ending his sentences abruptly and then turning his back and walking away. Twice I had to call him back just to ask a simple question - he was somewhat "unengaging" until it came time for us to pay the bill...

Horrible experience we where refered to this Winery by a photographer after driving for about an hour and rushing once on the property where not aloud to take our family photos we where not in the actual grounds but on the outside it seems ridiculous that tourists can take as many group photos as they would like but once you put on a grad dress that it is unacceptable ended going to Quails Gate and they could not have been more welcoming for us to take the 10mins for family photos would highly reccomend not going to mission hill

A nice location, but very average commercialized wine and pretentious atmosphere/staff. While other wineries in the Okanagan (Quail's Gate just down the road) will let you tour through the vineyards and property yourself, everywhere at Mission Hill is "escort only." A bit uppity for a brand mass producing low to mid-end wines. And a forewarning, stay away if you're travelling with pets. Dogs are not welcome here. If you're thinking about visiting Mission Hill, I would suggest getting out of the vehicle for 5 minutes, taking a photo of the arches/tower, and then heading straight to Quail's Gate.

We were there 30 minutes before closing. One of two tasting bars were closed so all the people were waiting at one side. We waited 10 minutes only were told no more tasting because they were about to close. Advice to management : If you close at 7 please serve your customers until 7, otherwise just say you close at 6:30.

Overall stuck up, corporate winery. Customers are not their concern. They seem to get a lot of traffic already, no need to worry about individual customers. If you want an approachable, appreciative winery that has excellent wine, go to The Hatch nearby, night and day customer experience. I cannot recommend Mission Hill and will unlikely return.

We have been coming here for more than a decade. Each year, the staff gets better and better, just like the wine. You will find that this is a very family friendly location, big open spaces for the kids to burn off energy, videos to watch on how the barrels are made, dioramas of the property, and so much more. I highly recommend this as an amazing place to develop knowledge and passion for outstanding Okanagan wines.
