Mirabeau Park Hotel Review

Lost my reservation and the $97.28 because they won't accept cash for incidentals! They won't allow a prepaid card and my cousin lost his ID that goes with the only credit card we have on this trip. I understand that they want the ID to the credit card, but I mean I just went to the bank and transferred money to the card so it would work! I used to love staying here but no longer do they feel like working with people.

I was for 3 weeks in Spokane work with my colleagues and I stayed at this Mirabeau Park and Convention hotel.
my room was 2346 with a nice view.
my first impression is to say wow

she was always there very cordial and kind in case you needed something. Lucas a beautiful young man who works with very good humor. he always with a nice smile. Thank you.

Great place to stay! They have a great outdoor hot tub and heated pool. I was comfortable swimming even in the winter. This place also had some of the most comfortable hotel beds. Would definetly recommend.

This place is the best food in the Spokane valley, get service too!

The place was clean only because it was recently remodeled however the room was not clean that toilet tank was leaking water all night long. In the morning when I checked out I mention the front desk about the leaking water tank and the only thing they told me was. Did you call maintenance, did you know they're open until 3 in the morning? I reply to them; serious how am I going to know your maintenance hours of operation and why would I want anybody working on my toilet in the middle of the night when I'm trying to get some sleep I'm not sleeping on your hotel just because I'm bored it's because I am in route to somewhere and needed a good night of sleep. I never ask for a discount, all I did was mention what was wrong with the room so it could be taking care, so the next person won't have to go through what I went through. It just another disappointing thing about Spokane, everybody is cheap and they think you are also cheap looking for a cheap deal on a cheap town. The really suck!!!

Great food and service with a cool sorta timeless 80s style decor.

Decent place. Bar has adequate selection. Good live music.

I took my wife there for her birthday during restaurant week. I was SO disappointed. for my first course, the butternut squash soup may as well have been baby food from a jar. I could only handle 2 bites.

For Dinner my wife ordered langoustine which was bland and overcooked in pasta. I think we were both expecting something that looked more like lobster not dime sized chunks of meat with no flavor.

I ordered a ponzu marinated steak ordered medium. the flavor of the steak was good but this was the most rare steak I have ever seen served with more than 1/2 inch of burgundy red flesh in the middle with a sear on the outside. There was no pink at all.

for dessert I had a coconut eclair. the flavor was good but the texture felt like it was made last week and pulled out of the fridge and served with a few coconut shavings.

I wish I could have my $80 bucks back and I would just take her to the Olive Garden. It would have been better that this!

I am not the kind of guy to give a review like this, This should show just how disappointed I was.

I've been here a handful of times for everything from a casual lunch to a business meeting to company holiday parties to wedding receptions, the staff is always incredibly polite, the grounds are always clean and tidy, the food is quite good and the bar is beautiful. There's plenty of seating both in the dining room at the restaurant and in the spacious conference rooms. Large Windows lining the hallways on almost every side of the building allow a lot of natural light and a beautiful ambiance to the entire building. Whenever I have had friends are family coming from out of the area I recommend they stay at the hotel so that I have an excuse to come inside the building and wander around. It's a very modern Chic feeling Hotel in the suburbs but still maintains a comfortable enough vibe that it is inviting and you always feel welcome.

Great experience and food. Been behind the scenes with my company a few times, they've always been great.

Brought wrong appetizer so had to wait, chicken satay was not cooked

Really hard to have to carry luggage up and down stairs. Elevator was nearly impossible to find. The staff was very helpful and kind though

Really great service. We were in town for a Dog show. And the room set up was perfect for us. Unit had a sliding door that was really close to the pet area. The food was really good. Very positive experience.

The rooms were nice. Some construction going on around the building.

Stay here every time we stay in Spokane ... We have a dog and get one of their pet friendly rooms and very clean and comfortable ...staff and manager friendly and attentive . Breakfast I t the restaurant is great ..super waitress

We had dinner at the Max with friends from out of town. The service was excellent and the food was very good.

We went here to meet friends. It has a nice selection of food items. Pricier than some places, but it usually has a great presentation, and I don't believe people go here to simply have a meal. I love to dance, and they have a live band on weekends. The dance floor is small. The bands are usually pretty good, and it is always fun. Again, I think most people go to have some drinks, and maybe get an appetizer. I don't drink, and love to dance. If it was the other way around, I would most likely give it a 5.

Good drinks, good service. Came to listen to the band sounded great.

Business meeting with buffet. Meats were very tasty, enjoyed the salad, and bread choices. Very nice for a buffet!

Visited for a craft fair. Public areas are quite dated, dead plants, could use a bit of a facelift.

Our client Albert Hammond, and his band stayed here after a recent performance nearby and they loved the stay! The rooms were very nice, clean, and well decorated. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, even considering how late the check-in was! There was plenty of free parking, and there was a fitness center which really helped get going the next morning. Thank you for taking such great care of our clients, we're looking forward to booking more rooms with you in the future!

THIS was for a local civic awards presentation, so banquet facilities were essential for the success of the show. Dinner was served quickly & efficiently, was delicious & upon serving of desserts the show promptly ended just in time for a few photos.

It was a 5 star night. Thanks, Maxx's crew for a wonderful night!

I went to the restaurant inside, called the Max at Mirabeau. They have a great happy hour there, with money off of signature martinis and half off appetizers! I love the Max cheese fries and sliders, so good

Library's author event was well attended and pleasant.

This was not the best experience I have had here. The wait time was 30 mins after we had ordered our food, been sat and recieved our drinks. We did not see our waitress again until after we had recieved our food...COLD food...and asked for our check which took an additional 20 mins. Will not return for another date night.

Great food and amazing service. Place is a little on the pricey side but I guess thats the price we pay for the service and food.

We have been here many times. Some of the experiances are great...and other times just ok. No complaints. I like the atmosphere and staff is always friendly.

I enjoy the breakfast here. Sometimes at night they have live music. The food is very good!

Always wonderful. Here for an event. Fourth year now. Bar has a wonderful happy hour. Band plays at 9pm. Bobby Patterson band.

We were so impressed with the bed/bedding. Slept so well. Great bang for the buck!

The rooms were immaculate, cozy, quiet and the bed was the best I've ever slept on and not to mention the price was very reasonable!!! When I come back to this area...this hotel will be where I will go.I

Was there for dinner dancing, dinner was amazing the service was outstanding probably the best I've had in a very long time . The food was fabulous it was just a wonderful experience from the get go.

Don't bother with the martinis. Received this less than 1/2 full and was informed by the manager it was due to an "over-sized martini glass". I have been drinking a while now...and....not. Hate to Give a bad rate to a local business...but there ya go.

I attended a business dinner in their restaurant. The food was and service was excellent as always and the price wasn't bad either.

This place is so unassuming! It s absolutely perfect. Quiet, even right next to the interstate. The staff had been out of this world, even when I called about getting the right room. These rooms far surpasse any room I ve been in at this rate. Cheaper, cleaner, quieter, fantastic view. Thank you to the staff!
And Max s steakhouse is also just as fantastic!

Extensive menu, casual environment, big wine list. Downside is they were out of popular bourbons and scotch. This shouldn't really happen in a restaurant in my opinion. Also the French fries tasted like cheap fast food. It's ok but the prices are a little high for the type of food.

We had a work Christmas party. The room was a great size. Clean, with nice tables and place settings. The food was way better than expected. The mashed potatoes were REAL! and the prime rib was everything you'd expect and want.

Efficient and friendly checkin. Modern furnishings. Soft vinyl sofa & recliner easy to sanitize. Glass protectors on tables nice touch for sparkling clean surfaces. Ample lighting options. Marble floors, granite counters and carpeted areas spotless.

Comfortable mattress with plenty of pillows. European sheeting enveloping blanket so no questionable bedspread. Large dresser huge drawers!

Separate, well-appointed kitchenette. Coffee maker with coffee for brewing.

Requested room with tub. Wonderful deep with plenty of room for bath products. Two white terry bath robes hanging in closet. Extra towels. Long mirror in dressing area. Goose neck faucet good for filling water bottle.

First floor outside rooms have access to parking so your car is steps away if you like. Inside rooms have access to courtyard garden.

We had a conference room for our Xmas party. Beautiful and right across from the lounge.

We were here for an ASA Event. The Chefs choice for our dinner was some sort of sliced beef and it was VERY tough. A couple of our attendees didn't even try to eat it after seeing the trouble other people had. Parking was VERY difficult as well.

We attended the PACE awards event in the ballroom. It was a great place for a large social event. The hotel also provided a decent meal.

Went for the weekend brunch it was great food and service. The bloody mary and Mimosa bar was cool too.

Very nice room with ample space. Staff both for the hotel and restaurant ( Max ) were truly awesome. If you like a soft mattress this is the place for you. The Max restaurant was too noise for my wife and I. We had to speak louder than anyone should to have a conversation. We both had the Halibut. Mine was over cooked and a tad bit dry. My wife's was perfect. The potatoes were delicious as was the asparagus. The selections and pricing on the food items was reasonable. We spent $125 including tip. No alcohol was ordered.
I would suggest getting the Date Night package. The room has a Jacuzzi, Spacious shower with four heads and plenty of room all over.
Of course, ALL reviews are subjective to personal taste. The four star rating is due to the bed and restaurant. My wife's rating will probably be five stars on Trip Advisor.

Mirabeau Park Hotel took care of me when Best Western refused. I went to best western to get a room at 3am with the intention of checking out at regular checkout time. I communicated that with the clerk clearly but she tried charging me for 2 nights, saying it was her system and there was nothing she could do.

Excellent food. Been here a lot. Never been let down.

Spent weekend of Sept 12 - 14, 2014
Our room with 2 queen beds on the ground level opened into a courtyard with a path that led to the pool which I used twice comfortably heated. The rooms are arranged so they are on small courtyards and the paths lead to the restaurant on a large center courtyard. Instead of pictures on the hallway walls they have beautiful large carvings.
Every person we were in contact with from the time we arrived and including the lost and found on the phone were professional and kind. The room and bathroom were spotless and beds perfectly made!
I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Easy to get to. Walmart in walking distance. Comfortable rooms

Restaurant is a little over priced for a soggy sandwich and limp fries but the staff is friendly and it is very clean and well appointed.

I attended a business party in the ponderosa room, and everything was very beautiful and delicious. The service was very professional and my wife and I had a great time, can't wait to go back and maybe even stay the night.

Decor is a bit outdated but the pool was nice and the room was comfortable. Only one poorly placed elevator so you will need to carry luggage up stairs. No free breakfast. Cheap price, so good for the price.

One of the best places for breakfast in town. You can always walk right in on Sundays. No wait. Bloody Mary bar is pretty spectacular too.

Nice place. Clean and I was not afraid to sleep in bed. Food was pretty good.
