My first mini service and I am absolutely hooked on the impeccable service from start to finish. Thank you Fairfield, Thank you to your entire Service team who are "state of heart" of service. You continue doing what you do, your people who represent your brand are doing the most amazing job and making people like me who bought the service mantra with the car, are hooked and I'm super happy to have you behind me and my mini. Very easy to deal with, responsive to questions and emails, and upfront during the whole process. Would not hesitate purchasing from them again. I even drove to Connecticut from Maryland because they had the car I wanted and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

My first time here and my experience was "Wow"! My service advisor, Peter, treated me like I was family. He spent extra time to help me assess best service options and save money. This has never happened at other dealer service shops where I've always felt like the staff are trying to upsell me stuff I don't need. Peter was also constantly in touch to keep me updated on cost and progress of the work. I will seriously consider getting my next car from Darien Mini simply because the service was terrific!

Our service advisor John really went the extra mile for our 2005 mini. We were on a tight deadline for our son to drive the car to college. A regular service showed a new repair was warranted. A price was quoted, parts were ordered. The parts arrived damaged and had to be reordered. Then bolts were stuck and needed extra items to complete the repair properly. John stayed late Saturday to get the job, started Wednesday, delivered to us. I would give this effort a 5, but the bill almost doubled from the original quote and the extra thousand dollars more than quoted still stings. They had the car, they should have seen the bolts and extent of the work involved and quoted better. Plus the free reinstsllation of a piece on the roof and the free keychain broke the same day. So that brings me to the 3 stars.

Very unhappy right now I had my car service a week after thanksgiving, I don't know how many problems can I have with my tires. Once again one of my tires its supposedly low. The brakes are making too much noise and my bill states I declined service that was never even offered. If you have the money go ahead and waste it here.

The service work they did was satisfactory and tho...

The service work they did was satisfactory and thorough, but they had extremely poor communication. My car was towed there in the morning through roadside assistance due to a blown-out tire and, after not hearing from them toward the end of the day, had to call them to confirm that they received my car and to ask what it needed/when would it be ready. When they called me back three hours later, the man said "we had to look for your car - we didn't even know it was here!" They took over two days to change a tire. Thankfully and to their credit, they also did some very routine service work (oil change, etc) as my car was due. Again, I had to call them to check on the status of my car. All communication was driven by me. This is the third Mini Service Dept I have used and by far the most subpar in terms of customer service. All others were great to deal with and kept communication open. (BTW, they do their Mini service out of the BMW service place two miles down the road. Learned this the hard way after driving an hour to get there from my home as, again, no one communicated this detail to me.) While I understand that perhaps the pandemic might have affected their ability to complete the job in a timely manner, there is still no excuse for a total lack of communication on their part. It should not be solely driven by the customer. Definitely gave me the feeling that this particular location prioritizes their customer service for BMWs and that Mini owners are at the bottom in the pecking order. My lease is up in a few months. I was on the fence about leasing another Mini and think that this has tipped me toward going with a different manufacturer.

I have leased Mini Coopers from Mini of Fairfield for over a decade. Sales and service at this location is impeccable. Friendly, professional, thorough, thoughtful service every step of the way. The cars are great but, the service and honesty from everyone there is why I lease from them year after year. Definitely on a par with any luxury vehicle dealership. I always recommend them very highly to anyone who asks. It's a complete pleasure to work with them every time I am there. First class staff. Excellent operation.

We have been servicing our MINI Countryman at this dealer since we purchased it in 2012, everyone has always been very gracious and professional; but, John Corcoran who is one of the service advisors goes above and beyond. John has always taken the extra step, one example of this is, once when my wife and I stoped in to make an appointment for routine service, I mentioned to John that one of our parking lights were out, his response: I can take care of that right now, he went straight out to the car and replaced the bulb, this might seam like a minor thing but to me it shows a person who is willing to take the extra step to help his customer.

My mini was brought into this dealer overnight through roadside assistance, 3 business days later not a single phone call to confirm they have my car, what is wrong with it - nothing! I have called 4 times with a promise someone will call me and i'm still waiting...don't hold your breathe with this dealer. I do however love the mini cooper vehicle i would just recommend you use a different dealer and location to purchase or lease your vehicle.

I love the dealership. John (?) in service was so nice, helped me by getting some paint off my car, gave me good advice re. tires. My only disappointment was that they wash the car during every service and they vacuum the inside. If they'd go the extra mile and clean the dashboard crevices, under/between the seats, etc. I'd give the service 5 stars.

Went in to have my winter tires installed and a part of the bumper realigned. Nothing technical or difficult.
I dropped the car off at 9:30 am and planned to wait for the service to be completed but was told it would take several hours. They arranged a loaner from Enterprise.
So far so good.
By 2:30pm I had not heard from the dealership so I called to get a time estimate. They asked if they could keep the car overnight as they were backed up. I was leaving town and could not leave the car. So they said they d try to get it done. This is where everything went wrong.
Told me to come down at 3:30 to pick it up. Got there at 3:45pm and waited until 4:30 to get the car. When they gave it back they informed me that the winter tires they just put on were worn and not suitable for another season - should have told me that before installing them!
Also said they could not fix the bumper and that it needed to go to a body shop. It just needs to be reclipped so my guess is they ignored this part of the job and just said it was too much for them to get me out of the shop. They should have just told me the job would take all day - I could have brought it another time. Failing to assess the tires prior to installation is also very unprofessional.
I have noticed that when I go to this dealership I often see and hear angry customers at the service desk. Having not had problems with them before I thought it was the clientele that may be a bit demanding. However, after this recent experience, I believe that the dealership brings it on themselves. I am hoping the local BMW dealer can service my car from now on.

My wife and I just purchased our first mini...a Cooper S convertible! We are absolutely loving this car!! Our experience with Mini of Fairfield County was nothing short of amazing...we cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the dealership...especially our sales person, Fabrizio Reda. He is so pleasant to work with...knowledgeable, helpful and always available to answer questions...every dealership should have such a "Fab" salesperson. We were invited back for a second date after spending time with our car to go over any questions...where else can you find such great service! Best car buying experience ever.

My wife dropped off her car two and half days ago because one brake light was out. We had to call three times for an update. They just called at 4 pm to say they haven't even looked at the car yet. They are hopeful they'll have the car ready tomorrow. Three months ago they had the car for two days for a scheduled oil change. This is far from the service I expected based on the buying experience. I will NEVER buy another car from this dealership.

Buying a car is from here is fine, the people are nice. But if you need any service done on your car, ha, good luck. I made an appointment a week ahead of time for service, I get there and they never wrote it down. Service department is terrible and no one wants to help you. Go get your car somewhere else.

This is my second time using this service department. I swear it gets better and better each time I go! Peter Reed and the young lady that sits next to him are an absolute joy to work with. Very attentive and cheerful! I dropped off my mini for a convertible top issue and an annual service, I couldn't make it in the next day due to my work hours but Peter was understanding and generous in allowing me to hold on to the loaner for an additional day. I came in this morning to pick up my mini and they had even vacuumed and cleaned the interior for me :) Excellent service department!

This was truly the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Fabrizio treated us respectfully and professionally. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. The business manager was outstanding as well. As far as the car, we purchased a Mini Cooper Clubman and absolutely love it. I strongly recommend taking a trip to this store for your next car purchase.

This is an update: I still will get my car serviced at Mini Fairfield County but I will have to be more insistent that they listen to me, the driver of the car, and not just the computer. I could have saved myself a lot of time and struggle if they had listened to me when I told them the issues with my car. They dismissed it as simply needing an oil change, only for me to return one month later with about $1200 in work that needed to be done. I could have planned and budgeted better had they taken the $200 I paid for a diagnosis and actually tried to see what was wrong. They are expensive and need to be more thoughtful with the work at the prices they charge.
I truly like getting my car serviced at this dealer. But they are not as thoughtful as they should be; however, the atmosphere is relaxing as you wait, and they do not try to sell you on needless services. I plan to buy my next car from this Mini dealer.

I have a 2011 Mini Countryman. I got a check engin...

I have a 2011 Mini Countryman. I got a check engine light about half a tank of gas. The code was p0087. I had it check by my mechanic and he told me it it was the high pressure fuel pump. After doing my research I found out that there a warranty of 120,000 miles or 10 years. My car is 118,000 miles. So Fairfield bmw took it for a couple of days and told me it was fine that I ran it on empty and that why I got the code. Negative as I said in the beginning the light turn on at half a tank of gas. Now they charged me over $200 just to tell me that it s fine. What I feel is they not trying to do the warranty work cause it don t benefit them. When I also was talking to the guy he said yea these cars has a history of this pumps going bad. I stated to him that what happen if the pump dies after my 120,000 miles. Do I have to pay for a new one? He said yes. So I m annoyed that they couldn t help me and at this type of time they took over $200 from me where I could of just saved it. If I knew this I would of never brought it to them.

Since my first MINI, he always takes care of me and has the patience, time and knowledge to provide a great customer service. Was sad, now glad- Very good experience, I was bummed out to learn I needed a high pressure fuel pump- but very pleasantly surprised to learn the part & labor was under original manufacturers warranty. I was provided a new 2018 cooper for the weekend, job was done Monday. Turn around time was fast.

I have waited more than 30 mins just to give me price. The sale person overbooked me with someone else. She introduced me to the manager and he left me for another 15 mins. I basically wasted my time there more than hour until I walked away. I had a really nice feeling for MiNicooper before but now I have to think twice.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and purchased a MINI Countryman, sight unseen, from this dealership, as they were the only ones who had the car with all I was looking for. From the beginning of the process through shipping, they were absolutely fabulous to deal with. They were helpful and not pushy in the decision making phase. I had many questions and requests and all were addressed timely and thoroughly. They sent photos and videos, made small adjustments to the features of the car (some for free), and worked well with my bank, the transport company, and my state's registration requirements. Truly, they made this easy, enjoyable, and seamless...(and I hate shopping for cars!) I normally do not write reviews; but, these folks were so great, they deserved recognition.

This was the first time that I had to take my car in for work now that the warranty has expired. I was expecting the worst and got just the opposite. The final cost was very reasonable and the service provided once again was topnotch. Very friendly staff.

If I could give a review with NO stars I would. Every time I had to bring in my NEW 2019 Coachman in for service for what ever reason (NEW CAR hum) What is wrong with this picture, I have had multitude of issues with the service department. My car has been in at least three times because of the issue with the inferior tires that were on the car. The last time I needed help because of another flat tire my husband tried calling to set an appointment to get the tire replaced. The service department could not find our account. We kept calling back trying to get someone else to help us because we were stranded and we needed to arrange to get the car Towed 25 miles to your service department before it closed for the weekend. I asked to speak to a supervisor to help but he would not transfer me to anyone. He claim there was no supervisor on duty (This was New Years Weekend). Because of the poor service and the need for the use of my car I had to purchase FOUR new tires at a tire dealer. Please note that I bought the car from this dealer during the summer.

The service at Mini of Fairfield County was great. I had to bring my Countryman in for service. I scheduled the appointment and was able to drop it off the next day! John was extremely helpful and made sure everything was done right. Also it was done the same day which was great as I was from out of state. The shuttle service was quick from drop off and pick up.

I'm not the type of customer who should be leasing a Mini Cooper. I'm to poor. I have spent more in one year for my 2017 Mini Cooper than my Subaru that I had for 5 years. I used to love the look of my Mini Cooper Convertible but now I'm embarrassed. Pulling up to the Branford Food Bank in my car and then standing in line to wait for food doesn't make sense. I wish I had the $400 I spent for two new tires because of a pothole and a nail.

Michael Grassi does not keep his word. Go ahead and buy a car from this dealership. If you want a disposable car. By all means. 63,000 tops. Go right ahead. Girlfriend bought a 2007 Mini Cooper S. Special car. @ 18460 first timing chain tensioner. @26000 second timing chain tensioner. and then @ 31662 third timing chain tensioner. Don't worry there is always social media, news channels and lawyers to figure out the rest. Just make sure that the buyer beware"s"

If you have a mini cooper..get rid of it as fast as possible...especially if it has over 50'000 miles or, at least, if its still running?...dont get it serviced at Mini of Fairfield county....they are crooks !!! [ I have an estimate for repairs from them ] If you think you love your Mini..forget about it...get a subaru if you would like to know what loving a car is all about !!! we drive about in the snow and make Audi quattro guys throw up with envy.....forget the small cheezy mini..BMW does not make them anyway...shall we get into LUCAS electrics?
people in lower fairfield county seem to have money to throw away? but at this dealer..need to really be LOADED to afford maintenance, and the Mini need LOTS..... , its unbelievable just how bad this situation is???

I am so impressed by this place. I have not taken my MINI to anyone else for about 6 or 7 years since the first time I came here. They bend over backward to make repairs convenient. They don't try to get me to make unnecessary repairs - quite the opposite. They try to keep the charges reasonable. When my 14-year old MINI finally bit the dust I was actually thinking of getting a new one just so I would be able to keep using the MINI dealer for my maintenance, even though what I really wanted was a different car. I did end up making the latter decision though, and I will really miss these guys!

I was so pleased with the service we received at Mini of Fairfield County. I bought my mini for a fair price and the salesperson, Carol, was super easy to deal with. Two months after the purchase some regular repairs were due. I spoke with Carol and she intervened and the dealership paid for the repairs and this is without a cross word on either end. Peter, in the service department, was courteous and got me a loaner car to make the whole thing go smoothly. Honestly, what could have been a total headache was a very nice experience. They really seemed to want to make sure we are happy. Done and done. Thanks guys and great work!

I was running late, long drive from Westbrook to Darien, they were able to take my Mini when I arrived. The service work and wash were done in the time they told me. My life has been hectic, I was so happy that my Mini got serviced, washed and Daisy got to drink out of the Mini Cooper Dog Bowl!

Dropped car off at 8 in the morning for an oil change and break fluid change. The car was not completed until the following day at 11:30am. When I called to inquire I was told they were "working on it" Poor service and communication from the dealership.
