LOVED millies cafe, will definitely be back. Yes it is busy but worth it!

No hash browns on Sunday? Is this a thing? It blew my mind that I could not get hash browns with my otherwise perfectly fried eggs. The pancakes were dry and needed to be doused with syrup and whipped butter to salvage. The coffee was lackluster. A for effort c+ work on a basic standard of breakfast foods.

My fav spot for cafe food. i should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. bring your hunger - portions are filling. i see why this place has so many great reviews.

Cafe food... very tasty. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. Prices are fair I would say. They have a lot of great reviews for a reason.

Good food at a reasonable-ish price. Also a good number of vegetarian options. The service was notably good for an extremely busy Sunday afternoon so A+ on that definitely. I had a good first impression of a place a lot of people already like a lot.

Kind of legendary at this point, not only for the food but for the emeritus cast of rockers who have worked there on their way up. Authentic LA hipster diner in the middle of Silver Lake.

I travel from Orange County just experience the wonderful food there and the friendly service was the best. ...im hook and im traveling there this weekend again

First time at Millies...can't believe it took me so long to get their. It was unbelievably good and the people were the best...won't be last time!

Fast service and a wide selection of brunch options. Everyone liked what they ordered.

Great place to go for weekend branch. Great food, great staff and pet friendly. A bit of a wait to get seated but well worth the wait.

My family and I love tickle tree! My mom and I get our favorite chopped salad and my sister (more on the plain side) resorts to her plain hamburger. Highly suggest trying their garlic sweet potato fries.

Avoid the Benedicts section - the Hollandaise sauce is really odd.

I've been to Millies Cafe multiple times in the last month, and hands down it is one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. With the great outdoor, sidewalk seating, I always know that I'm going to enjoy delicious vegan food, hot coffee, quick service and a lovely environment to enjoy LA's fantastic weather. If you are ever in Silverlake, find some street parking on Sunset & stop by to get a meal cooked with a lot of heart.

food was great but my waitress was rude maybe a bad day for her.

They served simply the best brunch ever. If any of you are in the Silver Lake, Los Angeles area it would be in your best interest to visit it.

Dottie's is always a solid choice. Second time there and food was good, and the wait wasn't too long. I'm not sure I'd wait an hour for it but for 20 minutes it's a good deal. Definitely come here at least once.

Best breakfast I had in SF. Line was a bit long, took about 45mins to get in but the food and service are worth the wait. I had an omelette with lamb sausage and it was fantastic. also you have to try the corn bread with pepper jelly

Great place, excellent food, attentive service, a great sidewalk table, very reasonable prices. Also, the place has great character. It's unique in a way that's friendly and welcoming.

Millie's Cafe was hoppin on a Saturday morning. My pancakes with fresh berries were so light and fluffy. The staff was attentive to our needs- frequent refills on coffee, water and mimosas. It had great atmosphere and quick friendly service!

Great spot on Sunset Blvd. Half the seating is on the front sidewalk. Locals jam the place daily. Line sometimes long but moves quickly and worth any wait. Drinks and food service fairly quick but who cares, the people watching is part of the show. I should mention the food - large, well prepared, often imaginative portions.

This place is fine for the rare and occasional involuntary visit but I wouldn't go on a regular basis. There's variety, the service is good, and the place has a nice, overall feel (and it's walking distance to me!). I enjoyed my first couple of visits. However, after a couple more, you'll start to recognize that the food isn't all that fresh and it's not much of a value. I do a lot of cooking myself and my standards may be a bit different so I recommend at least one trip to satisfy your curiosity -- or perhaps even a second, if you happen to figure out what their best menu item is on your first try.

As a frame of reference, some of the favorite breakfast experiences in the past have involved Rutt's, Truxton's, Pann's, Main Kitchen, and HomeState.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast. I think I've had everything on their menu and everything is bomb!! The only thing I'm sad about is they used have put fresh strawberries on their pancakes and the last times I've been here it doesnt have it. Not sure if it's cause they aren't in season or now you have to pay extra. My fav is devils mess. Yum! Service is amazing always.

The hipster restaurant very nice and quaint. The service is good. The food is delicious. My plate waa scrambled eggs, smoked apple sausage, and 2 blueberry pancakes. The blueberry pancakes is light and fluffy. The only drawback is parking since parking availability is on the surrounding streets.

Me and my lady were on vacation and stopped by not once three times the food was delicious and prepared with so much love even on the airplane ride I still could think about how damn good the food was the atmosphere was so dope anyone who visits them definitely won t be disappointed

Delicious food, great atmosphere and the service is phenomenal. The workers were very attentive and super friendly. I ordered French toast with strawberries and bananas..the fruit were very fresh and the FT were delicious!

Great breakfast spot on Sunset in Silver Lake. The service was great, attentive but not obtrusive, coffee was 7 out of 10, chiliquilles egg Benedict was 9 out of 10. A couple of blocks from Intelligentsia for pre or post coffee

Tasty breakfast and BIG plates! Super attentive personnel and a massive variety on the menu. Eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado is way bigger than you would expect and the fruit salad easily serves two persons! Expect a bit waiting time if you come during main hours on the weekend, but worth the wait!

Really great place for brunch. The food was well priced and the portions were generously big. I was so happy that they had white cheddar as an option. So hard to find these days.

The waiters were very kind, promptly refilled our water jug and the wait for the food was not even noticeable.

Also, it had a very good selection of vegan options, which was great for my friends too.

The sweet potato fries were a new experience for me and they were fantastic. A nice blend of sweet and salty.

Oh! And the coffee was delicious! I worked as a coffee barista for years, so I can safely say that they serve some good coffee. The aroma was pleasant and the first sip was delicious up to the last sip. Kudos!

Food is really fresh! The customers seem a little low brow. I'm a delivery driver and went to pick up an order. Most places clearly identify customer from restaurant pick ups. This one didn't and a unknowing customer let out her ignorance boldly. If your a woman driver beware here...if the guy putting out the orders wasn't a jerk. The overall concesus is the food was over priced for the quality. We sat outside which was nice, there were just a few persistent flies. The service was awesome. So friendly and accommodating.

It's that classic place, with an incredible LA vibe in your choices. It's seriously a diner.. But with avocado toast, almond creamer, and... It's just wonderful! It's down home LA cooking.
