The original Bustling breakfast joint of Silver Lake filled with regulars, millenials and their dogs on the patio, and families from the hood. Amiable Ramzi runs the show in the morning which is efficient and computerized. If you don't like lines then forget weekends, otherwise getting seated is usually no problem.

One of the best dinners around, has a wide assortment of vegetarian and vegan options, while also being willing to accommodate changes. One thing you may have trouble is parking and seating, but I can say it's worth coming and trying out the food. Staff is quite friendly and are always willing to help explain the menu and what's the specialty for the day.

Wonderful cafe with great food and efficient service. There's a lot more seating than there used to be. The homemade biscuits are kind of bland, but definitely not a deal breaker. The rosemary potatoes are delicious, though.
My All Time Fave Breakfast Place! Great Service & Great Food! I Love the "Usual Breakfast with Blueberry Pancakes"! It's Addictive! Served with maple syrup and the potatoes are seasoned perfectly...the chicken walnut sausage is soo good! If your able sit and watch the cooks inside at the counter...they're amazing!! I totally recommend Millies if your into Good Breakfast that's not bland!
Best Breakfast/Brunch in town! Always busy but worth the wait. Parking can be tough but take a few laps around and you should find something you ll be happy you did because this place is the best!

The omelette I got wasn t anything special. The ingredients were all bland. The oil used to cook the roasted peppers and spinach and onions didn t bring out the flavors it muted them.

I drove out for a coffee tasting this morning and googled "low key breakfast near me" and Millies Cafe popped up. They are so welcoming, they have a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch and offer many vegetarian and vegan options. They even offered vegan milkshakes!! This is one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. I only had water, as I was already wired when I got there, but they made sure to keep my cup topped off. My 5 year old had to use the restroom and the owner let me use the employee's restroom so we wouldn't have to walk as far. Parking is a bit difficult to get, but it was worth driving around the block a couple times. I will definitely make it a point to drive the 1 hour out there every so often.
Service is great. Chilaquiles Poached Eggs were great, they fry the tortillas first so they're nice and crunchy how they should be. Prices are reasonable. You don't have to check in to get a table, just wait in line outside to get a table.
This is one of those LA gems that you will love to discover, and if you are fortunate enough you will enjoy becoming a regular. It gets busy on the weekends like all good LA food spots. Beat the crowd by getting their early or spot by on a weekday. Best gluten free pancakes I ve found but that is by no means the only good item on their menu.

this was....hands down...the best breakfast I've ever had. the French toast was cooked perfectly. everything was so fresh and amazing, I was blown away. I'm not even a huge fan of breakfast food but I'd eat here over and over again. Menu is extensive and intriguing. and a bonus - they have iced coffee!

Food pretty good but not terrific. Staff is tops! Very popular, so it can be hard to get a seat sometimes (actually, I hadn t eaten here in years because of that, but just got lucky one day). Outdoor seating is lovely.

I love this place!! It s hard to find diner food as a vegan and this place has an extensive menu with low prices. There are plenty of options for all types of tastes and diets. Plenty of seating. The only annoying thing is finding street parking

This was my first and best stop in LA. The menu had a lot to offer... both breakfast and lunch. I went with the Black Bean burger and I loved it. We sat outside. It was very shady however there were a lot of flies, which I guess should be expected. The waiters worked as a team and were very consistent. Another plus is that you can see the Hollywood sign in the distance. If I'm ever in LA again you can bet I'll be at Millie's.

I found myself here because it s been on so many best breakfast places in LA lists, and I wasn t disappointed. They definitely deserve a spot at the top. The food was really well made, which was a pleasant surprise as they have such an extensive menu. Definitely would recommend.
We mobbed this place around 7:30 on a Friday morning with about 30 people following a workout. They handled it admirably. We made a super long table out of the outdoor two seat tables with the long bench and had everyone seated together. Service was attentive and helpful. Food came out fast and hot. We made it easier for them with everything on one bill.
So why four stars? I didn't like my dish. Stoked to see a goodly number of vegan options, but after going for what looked like the star of the vegan breakfast show - I was disappointed. "Angel's Mess" was pretty bland, and I really didn't like the taste that the soy cheese added. Next time I would definitely ask them to leave it out. Or, more likely I'll go for a simpler and cheaper breakfast scramble. The whole "mess" thing didn't really do it for me.
Great little breakfast spot to go to either on a sleepy start to your morning on the weekend, or during the week. No I have only ever had breakfast here because I'm in the area at that time of day and the crowd is pretty light. I have heard it gets more packed in later into the mornings on weekends. If you love eggs Benedict this is a great spot for you as they have all different styles of Benedict eggs including salmon and crab (amazing) another personal favorite of mine is the pork chop and eggs. If you prefer a lighter breakfast or more health conscious breakfast their menu fits that bill to as they have many vegetarian and vegan options on their menu.
Fantastic example of a restaurant giving their clients what they want. Influencing a neighborhood with vitality and delicious food. Great location and appropriate wait time for fun and amazing local cuisine. The way the staff works together is spectacular. There are styles of food for many levels of diet concerns. Please give Millie's a sound salute to great food and conscience eating.

We were excited to try this place for brunch because it's always busy and the food looks so yummy ! I had the chilaquiles which wasn't too bad but the side order of biscuits and gravy was quite bland. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious and my partner reports that the California omelette was great and the side potatoes were "perfect". My only qualm is with the service - they sat us at the very last table and took their time bringing us menus or even water. When the waitress brought the check and we still hadn't received our grapefruit juice, I let her know and received a snarky response about if I just wanted it removed from the check. I still wanted it but she never brought it ...

Absolutely my favorite breakfast during our trip to LA. We came here twice in six days because it was so good. My fiance and I are vegetarian and there were a ton of options for us (including vegetarian biscuits and gravy!!!). Espresso beverages were delicious too, and the prices were super reasonable. Would recommend again and again.
Line was incredibly long and wait staff was a little irritated, but it's likely due to how busy they were. Did a great job of handling the crowd. If you're looking for an authentic diner experience but have dietary restrictions this is perfect. Likewise, it's also great for a laid back Sunday morning brunch.
My first time here and breakfasts was so Yummy Yummy!!!I ordered eggs with bacon and potatoes, the bacon was so ... so delicious My daughter ordered the Vegan Burrito OMG that was a BIG burrito and according to her so delicious as well! Another reason to go, the menu can satisfy any one!!
