I've definitely had A LOT better than this place. It really doesn't impress at all. I guess I expected a lot more from a place that has such high ratings on Google and Yelp.

It's very crowded, but we were able to get seated outside right away. The outdoor seating feels a bit awkward, as it's practically right there on the sidewalk with people trying to shuffle past your table. All the tables are also very close together, so it's hard to not overhear other people's conversations or have people overhear yours. Not something I'm big on as a rather introverted person, personally.

The food is pretty much middle-America diner sort of quality, so I really don't understand why the hipsters around here would rate it so highly. I liked the potatoes, to be fair! But the omelette and the pancakes were both very underwhelming, and had very little flavor to them. Also, the drinks here were so SMALL and EXPENSIVE. $5 for probably the smallest orange juice in the world. I understand mark-up on drinks to improve a restaurant's profit margins, but this was a bit too ridiculous for my taste.

The service was pretty good, a bit slow at times, but they seemed attentive and efficient for the most part.

All in all, more of a disappointment than a pleasurable experience. I know many other reasonably priced brunch spots in the Silver Lake and Los Angeles area to hit up instead, so I probably won't be coming back.

Great spot, food was flavourful and interesting. Many items on the menu I would like to try plus vegetarian and vegan options. I was disappointed with my pancakes tho, both flavour and texture. Sitting at the bar was a great show too! Such skilled and hardworking cooks!

We sat outside under the fig tree, great service and the bacon waffle with whipped butter was delicious. Lots of traffic on Sunset Blvd but that s not their fault. Good coffee. Generous portions and options. Might be back tomorrow.

Despite being crazy busy, especially on the weekend, the staff at Millie's do a great job of keeping everyone happy. Classic diner food, but a bit elevated from you average greasy spoon. Gluten free waffle available!

I absolutely loved this place. The next time I come to LA I HAVE to come back. The line looked long but it surprisingly did not take long for them to sit us down. The customer service is amazing and very fast, you never have to wait for a drink to be refilled or an extra item you d like. They also have gluten free options that taste like normal non-gluten free options (which my Mom absolutely loved). The staff was super efficient and friendly. If you haven t already been here you have to come!

Great service, efficient operation as a whole. Basic food options and basic taste. Nothing with a spin or special to them, but I will say that s what makes it have quality.. you know what you re getting when you order it. Wide variety for the traditional diner in a hip environment. Try the chocolate chip pancakes!

Awesome place and awesome staff. We ate breakfast at Millie's four consecutive mornings with a party of 10+ each time. The staff was always inviting, gracious, and accommodating. Then there's the food. Delicious food with plenty of vegan and gluten free options. Definitely recommend. Great group of people

I love everything about this place! I came here for a short vacay with a few friends. My friend who resides in LA, told us we were going to love the food here! Personally, I'm glad this was his recommendation.

Small yet quaint with a bit of a hipster feel. The patrons seemed to love coming here, because there was a long line! We had to wait for a good 20 minutes before we got seated. While waiting, I had the chance to walk next door for a little bit of shopping at a boutique. I came back and found that we were seated in no time! Staff were courteous and friendly. They've given a handful of delicious recommendations off their menu. Angel's Mess, Salmon Benedict, Monkey Banana Pancakes, etc.

Since I'm currently trying to be a vegetarian, I was happy they were able to cater to their customers! A lot of Vegetarian options to choose from. I ordered their Vegetarian Bennie which consisted of two toasted English muffins, Vegan sausage patties, two poached eggs, and topped with homemade hollandaise sauce. Overall, I loved every bite of it! I devoured their rosemary potatoes too! Add a cup of coffee and juice, you'll be good to go! Am I fan? YES!

Very busy place, but they definitely can handle it. Friendly, fast and competent staff! Food is awesome. Very delicious. The Espresso they are using is too acidic. That would be the improvement they could make.

So it's small. Really small. Like I had a full blown conversation with the tourist couple next to me about how awesome my waffle was. Service was friendly and the food came quick. I had a coffee and chilaquiles benedict, and my girlfriend had the golden waffle with banana and strawberries. All of that was really modestly priced for what it was. Great place for brunch if your ever visiting. 9/10 would definitely make this a regular stop

Millie's is the breakfast place to beat in Silver Lake. This classic route 66 diner has been around for nearly 100 years and I hope they get a hundred more. Lines on the weekend can get a bit long, but it usually moves fast. It is worth the wait though. I would recommend the chicken fried chicken or the blueberry waffle (the best waffle I have ever had.) They have a huge menu and a variety of options for those with more restrictive diets. Easily one of my top spots in all of LA. Visit seelainaday on IG to take a tour of Silver Lake and you'll go right past it!

It's an institution for a reason. Amazing service, extensive menu of the usual brunch fare (with lots of vegan options), prices are pretty good for the area. It's often busy with a lineup, but they turn tables over so efficiently (without pressuring anyone to finish). Absolutely recommended.

I ordered from the weekend special menus. I ordered the biscuit, chilaquiles, duck and cluck, short stack pancakes and the very berry French toast. Everything was super delicious, I especially liked the duck sausage and French toast. The service was outstanding and my coffee cup was never empty. A perfect eating experience.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Silverlake and surrounding areas. It's often crowded, but they seat you fast and worth the wait. Prices are reasonable and good portions. I always get "The Usual": eggs, meat, potatoes, and choice of pancake or french toast. $10.99.

So good we had to come back for another go. Friendly and efficient service and a wide range of excellent choices on the brunch menu. I've had both the Salmon Benedict for breakfast and the Fajitas for lunch - both good - but the burritos look really tasty, too. If I lived locally, I'd definitely become a regular.

Amazing breakfast place! But watch out because it's very popular and you will have to wait. The seating is really fun as it's on the sidewalk on sunset. You need to try the pancakes with coconut flour!
