Staff are extremely accommodating! Dinners were right on! Had to send a few crabs back because of size, but Nolan, our waiter was terrific and took great care of us!

Large crowd when I was there. And every was friendly..the smell of all the different food was in the Air... yours all for to go there. But..call first MAYBE..it gets pack

We were seated in the bar area, and it was LOUD! Food was ok, nothing to scream about. The salad bar needs some help

I was here like an hour ago but I can't wait no longer to write this review to a servicer for my table. Her name is Summe. I was here with my friends. We were ordered 2 dozen large crabs and at least 7/24 of the order was not good. We told our serviver that the crabs weren't good (no meat in side), she was started her bad attitude to us. She was threw a place hardly on the table and left. When we went back from the restroom the other servicers used racist voice to us. The worst feeling ever the way they looked at us, never again come back here.

Great food, great location. Our go to spot for a meal out.

Can't really say wait was going to be 1 1/2 hrs. Lobby packed full of people waiting some without masks. Won't be back

While the food was good, the ladies room could use some work.

Nice view! No wait which was nice. Food was delicious, 3 out of 4 of us got the Seafood Imperial and it was delicious as are the hush puppies which come with honey butter . The fried green beans were also delicious and come with ranch and a hot sweet chilli dipping sauce. The salad and baked tater that came with our meals were standard.

The person who got crabs said they were good and actual heavy Larges.

My only complaint is that they didn't have beets on draft due to COVID and were unable to tell me what beers they had available in cans, nor a list, so I basically had to guess until they found one that they did have.

Fantastic seafood right on the water! Get there early. You will be waiting at least an hour.

Food was not cooked right . Fish was hard as a rock. Crab cake was raw in the middle. Service was horrible. We didn't eat our food told the wait staff and were still charged $70 .

Classic Maryland crabhouse! Ask to sit on the covered porch in nice weather and enjoy the boats going by on the South river. Start with your favorite cold beer, order up a dozen crabs, and while you are waiting for them to be steamed to order, start your meal with a delicious bowl of cream of crab or Maryland vegetable crab soup or a plate of raw oysters. Roll up your sleeves, get your hands messy and start picking! Keep the crabs and beer coming and don't forget to save room for a slice of awesome peanut butter pie or another one of their yummy desserts. And don't plan on a quick in and out - if you are having steamed crabs, know that this is a very relaxing, social activity and you will be there for a while, loving every minute.

We arrived with a large party (10) and asked to wait at the bar for our table. Restaurant was not busy but we were ok getting a few drinks before dinner. The hostess said it should only be a few minutes. After 20 min I went and asked but they had no record of us. We were then seated 5 min later. Dinner did not get any better as the crabs were light and service slow. The people who has entrees were not any better, cold meals all around. One individual actually became ill at dinner and had to go to the bathroom. I believe customer service can overcome a bad experience and our waitress was nice bringing a free birthday dessert for our birthday girl. The check came and several of our party had no cash and we asked to split the check onto 3 cards. The waitress states this was against policy and could not do it. We asked to see a manager and after listing our problems we finally got to the issue with the check. Her response was rude and in a nut shell "tough" and pointed us to an ATM with a $3 service charge which each person had to use. This "policy" is listed on every door she replied and walked away from the table. No mention was made of the food complaints. I checked the door and yes in small 12pt font the policy is listed...who stops to read it. No one. Bad presentation of policy and a conveniently placed ATM. What poor customer service, they don't care about the customer or if they lose 10x all of our friends in one night. We frequent either Mikes at least five time in a season bringing large parties and spending $$$ and I will now never go back. We be telling all of our friends to avoid these rude, inconsiderate restaurants.

Great location! I love being on the water. The food could have been mildly seasoned a little better but if you want quality seafood, try out this location!

Friday night celebrating sister birthday
MEGAN was a great waitress. Pizza and seafood was outstanding. So good we went back today monday. 2 dozens large crabs and shrimp jammers. SAM was are waitress this afternoon great server as well plus she was training other servers while attending to us and other guests. Must go to!!!!

I been to Mike's a few times but had the best experience tonight. The food and atmosphere was good Thanks to Hailey for making our visit great. (Ask for her when you visit)

Although it was a wait (expected) the service was impeccable. While we waited we went to the bar and the server was all about service. Delicious drinks by the way. Our waiter was very polite and punctual. Definitely coming back.

Met up with about eleven family members (they came from every direction Mike's was in the middle). It was to celebrate my sister's birthday. The hostesses seemed to be overwhelmed. Almost every name they called didn't answer, yet they told us I was a one and one half hour wait... The way they handled our situation left a lot to be desired.... They wanted to split our group into two and the other half would have to wait an additional hour...

Finally we were seated and there was an empty table six feet away from us. I asked our waitress "KAT" (please see first photo) if she could work it out so that we at least could sit at the same time and in proximity to one another.

She went to the manager (I assumed he was) and came back with an accommodation..

THAT IS OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! KAT IS THE BEST. WHEN YOU GO TO MIKE'S CRAB HOUSE TRY TO SIT IN HER SECTION.

Big shout out to TEMO. He waited on our second table. Very prompt and professional.

Not overly impressed my food came out ultra greasy and the playing was not that great. On the positive the Calamari with spicy dip was amazing and worth another visit.

I will also come back to try crabs on the deck as the view is sublime.

Very good server and food. Actually has enough employees to give good service. Something that is very rare.

Love the fried clams. Great bar to watch football. The views are great as well.

I love Mike's Restaurant. The crabs are delicious, very meaty, sweet. The oysters and shrimps are also excellent. When my friends and I want to eat crabs, we always go to Mike's. The service is great. We also have a lot of fun.

Love it! Such a warm & welcoming place. We only went there for drinks but will be back soon to eat. Plus the trivia night was so much fun! Awesome place!

Didn t get to try the crab. Wait on the weekend was an estimated 2:15 - 2:30 hours.

This is, hands down, my favorite crab restaurant in Maryland. Admittedly, I have limited my dining choices to oysters, steamed shrimp, and steamed crabs. Why you would go there and have anything else is beyond me.

It does get crowded, especially on weekends (go early!), and service will slow. But the Maryland crab eating experience is not meant to be rushed. It is to relax, take your time, and enjoy the experience.

Sit outside, order some beer, and wait for your crabs. It will be worth it.

Great crabs!!! A little too much crab seasoning for my liking, but that's easily resolved. Cocktails were quite weak, but other than that it's a cool spot!

We came late this Thursday night and the crab cakes were amazing, our server Emily was by far the greatest server we have had very positive and fast will def come back

Celebrated my 49th Birthday with these beauties at Mikes. The Margaritas were on point. Can't wait to visit again. Love this place.

Waited 15 minutes before our waiter came to our table to take our drink order as we watched people on each side of us get served who were seated 10 minutes later than us. Ordered steak and couldn't have been more disappointed. Asked for medium rare and it came out like a piece of leather. The night before we were there also and they forgot our appetizers. Not sure why we didn't see the writing on the wall after the first visit but rest assured, we will not be going back!

Great location on the water. There was a wait list for a table, but we grabbed a table in the bar and received very good service. Great seafood and salad bar. Grilled halibut and rockfish are exceptional. Good friend oysters year round.

Food is pretty good but it's the scenery. Always take out of town guests. Good wine selection in the liquor store in back.

Finding out that they were sold out of crabs was the very last thing I found out after waiting an hour to be seated. Not cool

The atmosphere is great. The service was very good & the food as always was excellent. Great dining place to enjoy a delicious sea food dinner.

Crabs were seasoned very well-just enough hot to make your lips tingle and order another beer, of which they have many to choose. Cream of crab was a little thinner than I like it, but tasty. Crab dip was excellent! Great place!

When we arrived, the hostess put us at a table that had NOTICEABLY NOT BEEN CLEANED. Since the restaurant was not crowded, we found a clean table and sat there. Stephanie, our server, provided us with exceptional service and made dining on my mom's birthday extremely enjoyable.

People were nice...food, was not. THERE WAS NO SEASONING OR FLAVOR!!! We tried the Calamari, Pub Haddock, and stuffed flounder...all the same. Please season your food before you throw it in the fryer!

Just got out of there, AWESOME service by the waiter (Keegan)! Food is fresh and satisfying, hadn't been here for about 8 years and came back based on memories... definetly worth the drive from Manassas, VA. Me and my husband are celebrating our aniversary and absolutely think we picked the right place to come to.

The food is ALWAYS good. But the service was lacking. A lot came late or was forgotten all together. And we were sat 20 minutes later than what were told which was 40 minutes. And they knew we had an infant with us. I wasn't impressed with this visit especially after we drove 45 minutes to eat at Mike's.

If you are looking for quality seafood served fast and friendly, this is the spot. They have huge crabcakes and fantastic cream of crab soup.

The food was great and the crabs were meaty. Our server greeted us with a smile and tended to our every need. We will be returning.

My friends and I had just had the best experience at Mikes...we started at the bar, and Sarah was amazing! What a personable and enjoyable person! From there, the food was great and we will definitely recommend To all our friends!

Good food and atmosphere on the water with outside seating as well as inside. Can accommodate large parties. Has a bar with games on too.

This was our first visit. The crabs were big and delicious. We also ordered the buffalo shrimp, Maryland crab soup, onions rings , and chicken tenders. Everything we ate was so good and the customer service was stellar. Restaurant sits on the water and we decided to eat outside. We will come again.

My friends had been RAVING about this place. So when I got a request to meet friends who were docked there, I was ALL IN.

Arrived. Ready for an experience.

3 hour wait.

THANKFULLY, I had no other plans for the day AND I could catch up with the friends and fam who came, too. But GEEZ!!! 3 WHOLE HOURS!? When there were sooooooo many empty tables at that time of the evening? It was disappointing. FOOD WAS TASTY. But as a DC resident, I will prob only return when we're playing on the boat, again.

went today for the 1st steamed crabs of the year. There was a waiting time for the outside as usual so we sat in the bar area. The waiter told us there weren't any large crabs available only medium and if we bought a dozen they would give us 15. Well we did it and the crabs weren't medium they were small at best. It was hardly worth the trouble of picking. This is the third time I've been there and been disappointed. Everything was good except the crab offering... not sure it's worth the trip.

I love it!!!The staff is nice, polite and patience. The crab cakes are big and tasty with lump crab meat not that filling that alot of places use. You will be satisfied. I ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture. Shrimp was jumbo size, crab legs was descent size and delicious I also tried there shrimp jammers and they were good too. I can't wait until it warm up outside so I can go back and enjoy eating on the water and try there blue crabs they didn't have any this go round.

Very busy place! We had a 2hr wait but it was worth it!

Mike's is my go to for eating crabs while outdoors. Whether you're driving to the location or docking your boat there, it's a beautiful and refreshing scenery... Especially if you live in the city. They're usually pretty busy, but if you know that going into your visit, you'll arrive just in time to put your name down for seating... And in the meantime.. You can go to one of their many tiki style bars and grab a drink. Their prices may be a little high, but I think you're not only paying for really good food... But the atmosphere and experience. You'll love it.
