We arrived with a large party (10) and asked to wait at the bar for our table. Restaurant was not busy but we were ok getting a few drinks before dinner. The hostess said it should only be a few minutes. After 20 min I went and asked but they had no record of us. We were then seated 5 min later. Dinner did not get any better as the crabs were light and service slow. The people who has entrees were not any better, cold meals all around. One individual actually became ill at dinner and had to go to the bathroom. I believe customer service can overcome a bad experience and our waitress was nice bringing a free birthday dessert for our birthday girl. The check came and several of our party had no cash and we asked to split the check onto 3 cards. The waitress states this was against policy and could not do it. We asked to see a manager and after listing our problems we finally got to the issue with the check. Her response was rude and in a nut shell "tough" and pointed us to an ATM with a $3 service charge which each person had to use. This "policy" is listed on every door she replied and walked away from the table. No mention was made of the food complaints. I checked the door and yes in small 12pt font the policy is listed...who stops to read it. No one. Bad presentation of policy and a conveniently placed ATM. What poor customer service, they don't care about the customer or if they lose 10x all of our friends in one night. We frequent either Mikes at least five time in a season bringing large parties and spending $$$ and I will now never go back. We be telling all of our friends to avoid these rude, inconsiderate restaurants.
