Mike's is just wonderful. The food is outrageous, I had the stuffed shrimp and the backfin crab meet was as good as you get picking a jumbo crab. Salad bar is on point although fairly basic. You won't find 50 kinds of lettuce, just the basic good stuff. Kids meals were great too. And it's Xmas time and the place was lovely and festive. Very warm welcome with the fire burning in the front. We will definitely go back and take friends.

View is beautiful. Nice place to go have a drink and unwind. My recommendation to owner/management: do not be satisfied with mediocre. Learn how to make a really good orange crush and use fresh oranges. If you serve anything to eat, make it delicious-it is not that hard to make food that tastes really good. You are already making the food, do it right and make it delicious.

The crabs were good, but most of the staff weren't practicing Covid-19 related safety measures. They weren't wearing face coverings correctly, nor were they enforcing mask requirements.

Always a fun dining experience. The Friday night Karaoke is the best!

Food was ok and definitely food is overpriced! Orange Crushes are the worst. Nice outdoor sitting area but with their food prices and "baby drinks" they won't see me anymore. Also, they don't split checks...

I had my very first experience at Mike's today. I was excited to try the Greek salad with salmon. The dish looked amazing when it arrived at the table. Our waitress was talking about ordering one for herself because it looked so good. I started eating the salad and then I saw something move. As I took a closer look I realized there was a bug in my salad. I got the attention of the hostess to let her know there was a bug in my salad and her response was that she was only a hostess. I told her to get someone because there was a BUG in my SALAD. The waitress came over and saw the bug crawling. She was disgusted and took it to the back. She said the manager told her to ask me if I wanted anything in it's place. I didn't. I was nauseous and traumatized. I am terrified of bugs. The manager came over and offered no apology but just wanted to know if I wanted anything else. She didn't even offer to comp anything until after we asked if the owner was available. I am displeased with my visit and I don't think I will ever come back. First impressions are everything and this impression was the worst.

Highly enjoyable outdoor seating on the deck. I had a broiled seafood platter with shrimp, scallops, orange roughy and crab cake served with a baked potato. Wait staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy. I had been to Mike's a few years ago with friends and took the opportunity to return while on business in the area.

So glad we went there for dinner. Absolutely the best and fresh seafood.

Mike's is a great place for your hunger for crabs ,lovely outside seating, you sail right on up and have a drink.

Worthy the Maryland crab experience ... the view and ambiance was great however the seasoning on the crab was way too salty ... and the steam platter wasn t all that .... the crab cakes were great!

Ashton is an awesome and kind server. Visiting Maryland, Mike's is one of our must stops to have crabs. We also enjoy the crabcakes and coconut shrimp.

went here for my mother's birthday very very slow service had to get the waiter from another table just to get the check. Great scenic views when sitting by the windows drink specials are pretty good

Im not a seafood person, however the Crab soup was wonderful. I had a burger and fries. The dining experience was fantastic. Great staff, very friendly. If I ever get a chance to go again, I will.

Crabs are always good tasting. I do get a bit confused about the sizing sometimes but there is a trusted staff member to show me how their measure and size the crabs. Oh and most important you definitely need to hear the one man band.

Wasn't impressed with the food and crab prices were expensive.

Very rude staff I spoke too 3 mangers and they were very rude, the bathrooms are disgusting. Very unorganized. They told me their was a 45 min wait with all these tables that were available. Wouldn t recommend to go here place isnt even clean, plenty of tables weren t even cleaned off for other people to come eat. Their were serves who were just standing around who could of been serving the people that were coming in, instead of sitting around talking and laughing. Do not come here.

Except for the noise, the place is great.. I almost dropped to 4 stars because of the noise. This is important if loud places bother you. Cream of Crab soup spot on, Crabcake sandwich as stated has no filler, The Salmon salad was fresh and flavorful.
It may be quieter some nights, but was almost over the top on a Thursday.

Incredibly long wait for pretty good food, overall pleasant waterside dining experience.

Didn't get to eat there. It was a 2 hour wait time. Maybe next time

Beautiful restaurant located right on the water. Crabs came out fast and hot!!

Fresh seafood with a great waitstaff. I have never had a bad experience here. It's a seafood restaurant with a deli attached located on the South River which has docks for boaters as well. The place can get busy but I never waited long to be seated or for my food.

Great restaurant with great views overlooking the South River, but a little pricey for the amount of food you get. The service is also great, pleasant staff.

absolutely horrible experience. Took my daughter for graduation party and we had a party of 7. We got awful service. The mixed girl who waited on us kept rolling her eyes and giving is attitude. I purchased crabs. $79 per dozen which is already ridiculous but they dont even properly steam them. 80% of the crabs were paper shell and were empty and the other 20% had green mustard inside. I told them i was not happy and showed them and there "fix" was bringing out 6 more crabs that weren't paper shell but still were not full. Im sorry but for the price this place charges there is no excuse for this. If u have friends and family in town and want to impress them DO NOT take them to this dump. High prices and terrible food. I will never give them another dollar.

Crabs, shrimp, calamari and cream of crab were all delicious! Was not disappointed with anything including service. Would definitely return and reccomend.

Great seafood, great water view, excellent crabs, fun place, good comfort food, non- seafood dishes for landlubbers. You can go alone and feel comfortable at the bar, or you can go with a large group.

I have been going there for decades. I even attended a very fun wedding reception there. Of you want to experience an authentic Maryland seafood restaurant this is the place.

Food was good!! Atmosphere beautiful, service was slow but all in all very good.

They ran out of crabs and oysters during lunch... not a good look for a seafood spot in Maryland known for it's crabs.

Male crabs were nice and heavy. Would've gave it 5 stars but the crab cake had just a tab bit of mustard. Customer service and the scenery excellent.

Great food, view, and service! Our table ordered a dozen of the jumbo crabs and it was more than enough for a table of 5. Also the hush puppies were amazing!

Not bad. Too much old Bay on everything. Yuck after taste. The steamer shellfish was disappointing. Crab cakes good. Fried shrimp came from a pre battered bag. Service was good.

Their salad bar is minimal, coleslaw is terrible but the seafood is good

Mikes Crab House had some spectacular Maryland crabs this summer, I was thoroughly impressed .

I love this place being by the water is WONDERFUL!!!

If you want great entertainment.. delicious seafood.. well mixed drinks.. gorgeous scenery.. go to mikes and the price is right!!!

Worth the ride..1 dozen of large can be shared with 2-3 real crab eaters..plus appetizers..drinks are always on point

We generally like Mike's, and we are able to get there by boat during the summer months. We decided to go there today when out of town relatives were visiting. Another couple and my son met us there too, so we were a party of seven. We arrived early, at 11:30 for lunch, because we wanted to be seated with a view of the water. The outside porch was not open yet (it was a somewhat dreary day early April. We enjoyed the food, as usual, but the service today was unbelievably slow. The server took our drink order and my friend ordered appetizers, which came out pretty quickly. Then our server disappeared. my husband had to go up to the reception to get the server to come back and take our main order. The crab dip appetizers were yummy but very rich. The server admitted that he dropped the baguette from one of the orders, so half the table had dip with no bread. We waited nearly 15 minutes for that bread. The entree orders were good. We ordered soft shell sandwiches, crab cake sandwiches, and fried shrimp platters. Everything comes with fries. A manager came by to check on us and he immediately came back with more tea and water. So we just had a server who was "out to lunch."

Great place for seafood with both indoor and outdoor seating. Plan on waiting to sit outside if the weather is nice, even though they added an additional bar with two levels of seating. The prices are a bit cheaper than Annapolis, and the views of the river are awesome!

The food was super delicious!!! The staff is extremely nice! Our waitress Liz was phenomenal!!! Definitely going again.
