Just another new car dealership.

I visited Mike Brown on the recommendation of a friend, well used to be friend. I located what I want by myself and waited for someone to notice I was standing in front of the office, beside a new car for a while now and Charles finally appeared. I enquired about the pickup is was interested in and learned I had hit the lottery. "This vehicle sir is a great bargain; it is a dealer demo" great, how much is it. "well, it is required I get your location and contact info because Ford prices vehicles based upon where you live." I provided the requested info and the young man went inside and emerged with a price of $24,500. I asked for the key, and again he had to return indie. I guess people don't look in cars anymore when shopping. We looked insider and discussed a couple of additions to the vehicle for which I offered to pay 1/2 the cost. According to the sales manager, in person, we had a deal.
I returned to Stephenville and got my old truck and had my wife follow me to Granbury so I could drop of the trade-in because we had a deal. When we arrived, I determined I lacked a grasp of the English language. You see, we have a deal meant we have a deal if you are dumb enough to give us another $8,000 dollars. While I like to think $800 dollars is a lot of money, I'm pretty sure anyone that knows me will attest I dang sure don't make $8,000 misunderstandings or mistakes!
Mike Brown Ford is just another new car dealership. Their word means absolutely nothing to them and the fact they are trying to jack you up doesn't offend them in the least. I was offended, not by their trying to jack me up, but by their indignant behavior that I did stand for it. It was like "You just don't understand we do this all the time and get away with it."
Stay away from this dealership...it ain't worth the trouble...really.

If you go to Mike Brown Ford in Granbury ask for Craig Hoffman and/or Rodney Howard. These two are stand up guys and will not steer you wrong. They are both very knowledgeable, friendly, and will do whatever they can to take care of you and get you what you want. Jeff Keeling was the best. He was very much on his A game with this sell. He made sure to answer any questions I had and my banks questions. When me and my Mother made the drive to Granbury to get the truck. Jeff and the dealership made us feel very welcomed. Jeff Keeling is like a brother from another mother. Just from the phone calls he and I got to know a little about each other. This guy made sure we made it back home in all the storms. Then he called a wk later just to know how I was liking my Tundra (which I love).

They are always professional, friendly, easy to work with, and a very clean facility.
Plus, with making an appointment with their service department I never have long to wait.

Really good service. Got "The Works", which is an oil change and tire rotation for a good price. Found out after I got there that it also included a wash and vacuum. Great! Had a question about whether I needed a fuel filter replacement, immediately got an answer that made sense to me. I will be back.

I was disappointed. First I was told you didn 't have the filter and I could go to the Hyandi place to have it done because they had it and it would be faster for them to do the oil change. Two hours later my car was done.

I had a fantastic experience with the entire team at Mike Brown Auto Group. We were buying my sons truck and had walked out of another dealership for poor service and the old bait and switch routine. Thankfully the team at Mike Brown were outstanding. I lived 60+ miles away and did most of my transaction over the phone. They were stellar.

We went to Mike Brown Ford late one afternoon to look at pre-owned Super Duty pickups. Mack Jameson came out and helped us. He took time to ask questions about how the pickup would be used, showed us a few, asked some more questions, and narrowed down the field to pickups that would suit us best. He was very knowledgeable of the technical details of the pickups and then stayed well past closing time to help get us in our new pickup and drive it home that night. Over the next few days he tracked down door codes, keys, combination codes, etc to help us get settled in the pickup. He even found a house key we had left at the dealership while swapping trade-in keys. Super easy process from my perspective. That makes two, 5-star experiences for us from Mike Brown Ford.

Awesome experience with Mac. My grandson is deployed overseas and is a car fanatic. He found a vehicle that he was interested in online and wanted us to check it out. For the last decade plus I have bought my last 3 cars from them. When my lease ended on my last vehicle I went to turn it in and they really didn't want to take it as the dealership was liable till ford picked it up (seriously). So when I decided buy a new F150 magicly they were willing to work with me. I called for days and emailed my previous sales guy to make contact. No repsonse at all. So I showed up on the lot and was passed to the new guy (very nice but didn't know much about anything not on the sticker). I test drove several trucks and gave very specific list of what we wanted. But said I wanted to think about it for a day. The called me for days try to get me back (over the weekend). When I went back they conveniently didn't mention that they had already sold the truck. I understanding them selling it but I was expecting to close the deal that night no look for a new one. Could have told me and offered to find me a new one. So I picked another one out and again but they didn't tell me it was a demo or that it was 5L v8 not an Ecoboost. After we looked at the tag and saw the extras added (as example $160 for nitrogen in the tires, advertising, dealer fees, and delivery which is already paid) I said I wasn't paying for those. They tried to "insist" they had to charge for that. Also after noticing the 5k miles on the odometer even though they where trying to sell it as new we had to re do the terms again. After hours of back and forth we did agree on a cost. I had already had approval from ford credit and terms so all I should of need was to sign and go. But of course they had to try and sell me the extras in finance. But boy did they try to sell me other banks, higher interest rates, and longer terms. I understand this is where the dealership makes most of their profits but geez... The last straw was both my wife and I are professionals with heavy math and finance backgrounds so we kept asking questions as the offers made absolutely no sense. When my wife asked too many questions the finance guy sort of joked that he was going to ask her to leave. I said we are done here and walked out. The sales guys tired to contact me to fix the deal. I wrote a multi page text explaining my dissatisfaction and our frustrations with this whole experience. I also explained the exact bank they offered me was my personal bank and when I contacted them my personal banker offered me a loan at less than half of the interest rate for a year less. When I explained what happened in the finance office the sales guy did appoligise and said he wasn't aware. The sales manager did call and to try and fix this. The finance guys also called and said he was sorry but "that he never said what we both heard him say." It's sad that my 10 plus years of loyalty to both this dealership and Ford had to end this way.

This is the second truck I've bought from Mike Brown, F350 Super duty dually, and the third vehicle I have bought from Randy Evans, a straight shooting accommodating dealer rep. Mike Brown is my go to auto provider due to the professionalism and efficiency they present. I highly recommend

Just recently traded my truck for a 2016 ford f250. By far the best experience I have had trading vehicles. The entire staff was professional, curtious, and very helpful. Matt was excellent to work with. He was helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Val in financing was awesome too; very knowledgeable and made the deal quick . I would definitely recommend this dealership.
